The garage has some rather narrow driving and spots too. Reminds me of the parking garages in Germany. The apartment complex here is in a decent location and the layout is much more spacious than a hotel for sure. The rental unit was on the 5th floor. The building is quite big and expansive. Takes about 5-7 minute walk from the garage to the residences and stairs and elevators are on the opposite ends of the garage and the entrance to the apartment. Entry in and out of the garage and into the building complex from the garage requires a white key card. There are lock boxes at the main ramp by the exit or by the rail to the locked doors to the apartment building. The rental unit had two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, kitchen and lot area. The floors had big scratches and gouges out of it and the beds were foam and not super comfortable. The pillows were so flat and lacked any support for your head at all. The bathroom light bulb was out and made it fun for showering. There was no coffee maker at all. Odd there were men's pads and surface pads or mats in the bathroom, how random. The towels were thin and hardly soaked up much of anything at all.

The apartments come dirty, and then they charge you for it when you leave, even if you live there 9 years and leave it spotless. The pool burns your skin because the idiots don't know how to take care of it. The parking lot will give you a flat tire. The elevators break down monthly and it took them a year to fix the one. The list goes on. It's a terrible place to live and you should absolutely never consider this shit hole.

The apartment has lots of natural light and closet space! The whole complex is super clean, renovated and up to date! There is a great gym with a huge selection of fitness equipment. I can't wait till summer to tan by the pool. The best part is the location. I can walk to Whole Foods and do all my grocery shopping! Lakewood is filled with cute fun bars! People always like to blame others when the pool goes down, or there is a water shut off. We had similar problems when we lived in our house, truly no one's fault. Wendy also worked diligently to get us our money back when there was an overcharge for the gas bill several months ago. This resulted in a complete refund of the over charge. We think people need to get their facts right before they share untruths in a review.

The carpet was poor quality and outdated (compared to the carpet in other units at the Terraces at Northridge), and showed normal signs of use for 4 years. The only damage was from when their toilet cracked and spilled water all over the closet. This is a sneaky practice that appears to be a way of using tenant funds to pay for updates they would have needed to make anyways. I am saddened to have to leave this bad review.

They huff and puff and give you side eye when you ask for your mail (the mailroom is locked to residents) and make you feel like you're an inconvenience. All they care about is getting you in the door. The only redeeming feature of living in this building are the maintenance guys, they're responsive and I appreciated their service. Think twice before you sign a lease and make sure you read every clause. It's airtight and they will trap you in. They once tried to renew my lease for 12 months without my consent and I had to pay double rent when I moved out even though I gave the agreed 60 days notice. They will get you at every turn. All I'm saying is, watch out and consider your options.

What started as a promising place quickly became disappointing--and I can't stand by and let others be misled. There was a concerningly high rate of staff turnover, no provision for 24-hour security, and persistent maintenance issues that were rarely, if ever, resolved. Basic conveniences--such as vending machines--were notably absent, and communication from management was virtually nonexistent. Promised amenities, including on-site dining, a coffee station, and a rooftop bar, never materialized, despite being prominently advertised. Things began to shift when Village Green took over from City Club and rebranded the property as Skyline 776. While that transition hinted at potential, I had already moved out by then. I never had the opportunity to speak directly with ownership--residents rarely get beyond the property manager. Though some tenants are genuinely great people, many floors felt eerily empty, with just 2-4 occupied units per level. Unsurprising, given the cost of living here. A one-bedroom over 700 sq. ft. is priced around $2,000, and parking alone runs $200 per month. Speaking of which--be extra cautious in the garage; incidents with damaged or hit vehicles aren't uncommon. Lock your doors. Stay alert. This review isn't written out of frustration, but out of fairness. I sincerely hope things improve for current and future residents, but based on my experience, I urge prospective renters to proceed with eyes wide open.
