It was a nice surprise to see how decked up Fisherman's Village is. Def a place to get into the Christmas spirit. So many decorations and fun photo ops everywhere. We walk throughout the area, the have lots of shops, cafe, ice cream and restaurants and a tiki bar. You can also take a sunset boat tour. They also have nice water views. This is def a great place to visit for all and especially at Xmas. A new restaurant is opening the second week of January 2026 too towards the very end after all the shops. Just keep on walking. This is also dog friendly so we are happy to walk our dog here. Half is shaded half not and there is plenty of free parking in the lot next to it. 4 stars bc prices can def be tourist prices.

While I was in FL I figured I should look for a new one, since the selection in that sunny state was sure to beat that to be found in my home state of IL, where it will be snowing in approximately 2 months. Because this store is in Fisherman's Village (read: tourist stop) you're probably going to pay top price for a bathing suit here. It's also a fairly small and crowded shop, which makes it a bit hard to dig through racks in some parts. (also the dressing rooms are close and HOT!) That said, I found a super cute bathing suit (retro-looking 2-piece) here. Could I have found a cheaper one at a department store if I looked on sale? Maybe. But I believe in "I found something I like and it fits and looks good, so I am going to buy it now while I see it, because it probably won't be here when I come back" (it's happened too often!) I save time, gas and heartbreak over a few sale dollars. And in this case, I live in another state, so it's a little hard to check back! Just make sure in this case that you DO like it and it fits, b/c FL law prohibits the returning of bathing suits. The lady running the shop was really chill and nice. Anyway, if you're in Fisherman's Village, stop into Island Fever and see if they've got a cure for your swimsuit fever. They cured mine!

(Only way to lighten color is to pay for laser removal at specialty salon, according to 3 makeup consultations with other artists.). Brows turned orange. When told who I used, they wouldn't touch my brows unless color removed by laser. 4 makeup tables in a tiny room. Amy answers her phone while working on you, speaks in Chinese to her daughter continually and I hate wearing a hair net. Procedure painful. Sparingly uses calming cream.
