Went to buy something that was outside in the $1 each pile of stuff. Went in to pay and the lady said, "that is my paintbrush holder, do you mind if I tell you no, that you can't buy it" Unbelievable!! Took one look at my girlfriend and said "let's go! Goodbye" Not the way to do business! Things were overpriced in there and very hard to appreciate what I was looking at because it was SO OVERCROWDED. If she dropped her prices a bit, she would be able to get rid of stuff and make her shop more manageable and enjoyable to shop at. Won't be going back there. This place is listed as a thrift store, I can tell you there is nothing thrift about it. Better prices in stores and the items are new in store. Update to owners reply: You had stuff along the outside of your building with a sign that said things were $1... have fun. PINK BUILDING, stuff was along side of building. As you look at the building it was on the left side. Looked like it had been there a bit. This WAS your store. Ask the lady that was your cashier, I'm sure she will remember someone trying to buy her paintbrush holder. read more

This was one of the stops I took my boyfriend on for his Surprise Day! We absolutely love going to Antique Store and this one did not disappoint! I love flamingos and everywhere I turned, there was a Flamingo - I was beyond thrilled! Friendly staff, many different areas with all types of items for sale! Bathrooms were kept clean and have items for sale in them as well. We will be coming back to this location I'm sure soon as you can never have too many Flamingos. It was a day filled with Consignment and Thrift Shopping! This time it was in Punta Gorda. What a fun day! This store was on the top of the list. So many rooms of cool things to see. We each walked out with goodies. They have everything from Furniture, Home Decor, Clothing to Accessories. My only advice is "don't be in rush"..... you will miss something for sure. Next week, we're gonna check the Port Charlotte location. Great way to have fun with sisters and friends. read more

I was extremely disappointed today. Up until today I enjoyed this store. Today, we found for sale a bear that we donated to Goodwill a few months ago. It was on sale in one of the rooms for $20.00. The bear wears a hat that my dogs chewed on and glasses that we added to her. Unmistakable. The idea that someone shops at goodwill and then consigns used, donated items at this store pissed me off. I won't be shopping here anymore. read more

The store and staff are wonderful, but one of their vendors is a price gouger on her items. Hard lesson learned since the store has a "No Return Policy" and just a little deceiving since being a consignment store one of their vendors brings in new items to sell at an inflated price. It's really sad since most of the shoppers appear to be retired on fixed incomes looking for a good bargain. As a 'local artist' consignor at the Port Charlotte store, I am done. I have been with them for years, and with the hurricane, and they're closing for repairs, I was sure they would renew my crafts. I have sold hundreds of items there, and they've made money too. But when I went in after they reopened, I was told they would not renew my items and would not take any more consignments. I do not like what the new owners have done, they've treated those of us who have been selling there for years, unjustly. I have pulled all my items from their store and will never set foot in there again. Shame on them. You reap what you sow................... read more

Definitely a lot of stuff, however nothing extraordinary. I felt like I was in a Bealls department store same vibe with all the beachy, flamingo, mermaid, shabby stuff. Also each room felt very repetitive same kind of stuff room after room. Antiques or vintage items far and few. I prefer old treasures I guess. Upon arriving at about 4:35 I was promptly told she was closing at 5. Not a "hello or welcome" I did find an item in a vender both which didn't have a price tag on it. Which she didn't want to sell because she just didn't know how to price it I guess. I did like the item and she came up with a price and I agreed to pay 10.00 all by 4:55. My husband and I spent 10 wonderful days in SW Florida during the holidays. The ONLY negative experience we had was when we visited Funkie Junkies in Punta Gorda on the Monday after Christmas. We enjoyed browsing, etc. And I found 3 items (to buy) in a unique booth that had a lot of handwritten "markdowns". A nice man put the items in the check-out area so that we could continue to shop. When we went to pay, unbeknownst to me, my husband had given his credit card to the young woman ringing us up. When she announced the total, it seemed a little high and I asked if she had given me the sale price on the 2 smaller items. She said only 1 item was marked down....the other item was full price. I told her then that I did not want the item. She very arrogantly announced "NO RETURNS" and refused to remove the item from the bill (and my husband had NOT yet signed the credit card receipt). No one else was waiting to check out.....she was just too lazy to void the transaction for 3 items and re-ring up the 1 big-priced item and the 1 smaller/sale item. We probably should have just walked out of the store. And, I regret that I did not get her name....she was in her 30's? tall, slim, with long brown straight hair. As you can see from the photo, the price on the item looked like a handwritten $4.99.....the printed price was $9.99. This was not about the $$ but rather the principle. This woman had a horrible attitude; she should not be working in customer service. She's giving the store a bad name/reputation........ read more

A huge store with a lot of rooms. It doesn't look that way from the outside but once you walk in, it's amazing how big the place is. Lots of different vendors rooms with great artist pieces and a coastal feel. Prices on pieces are fairly great. The lady's were very helpful if your looking for specific items as well. Overall this a great place to shop exapecially if day you had to stage a house or are wanting some great unique decor. I'll be coming back here whenever I visit Florida. read more

Have to say seller beware. The pricing on items to low,most cases. Kim prices the best. A problem is they also can discount your items an additional 50% off,at managers discretion. I had a brand new item,priced at $10,they get 50%,then I see it sold for $2.50,both nautical hanging pieces. So wrong. There was a lot of other junk that could have been given away at prices like that. Lot of junk,I'd say 50% of store,and better items overpriced ...sorry,consignment is a crap shot. read more

They changed everything around. They have booths owned by different vendors. Very expensive for a "consignment" shop. The furniture in the back warehouse area is very nice, but for home items or clothing, this is really not the place to shop. Can get items cheaper in Beales Outlet across the bridge. I recently move into a beautiful apartment in The Oaks. IT is small in footage but makes up in updated applicanices .I needed a couple of pieces like small cabinets in the bath and a small table far from the the norm. I went with friends. First when I enter we were immediately greeted (score 1) we were allowed to look with out being pressured (score 2) The place is well organize with great stuff for everyones taste (score 3) The best thing is that if you have something of value they will work with you to help sell (score 4) Oh I left out clean, organize, well priced.
