Their office is located in a multi story building in Hoffman Estates by the I-90 expressway. Their office seems newer with concrete floors/white walls being minimal and modern. It was easy to get an appt and I didn't have to wait too long as a first time patient. My first visit was a general visit to check for concerning blemishes and discuss some long-standing skin concerns. I was prescribed three different creams for three different areas as well as recommended an over the counter shampoo. I tried products as recommended and didn't see results. I recently reached out (3 months later) to follow up that items weren't working and was told I'd have to come back in because I didn't follow up. It was news to me as I was never told to follow up on my terms; I expect my doctor to reach out to me. Either way, I scheduled another appt which was another copay. I was recommended two new creams as well as a pill prescription. It's been a week and no pharmacy has reached out to me saying I have a prescription to fill and the pill left me with side effects within days so I stopped taking. I followed up with the office, they asked if I could come back in which would be ANOTHER copay. I sadly am deciding to cut my loses with working with their practice. I refuse to pay another copay three business days after visiting because they didn't ask the right questions when I was last in. I felt the PA I had was kind but other staff was not and only talked in medical terms which left me confused and hard to follow conversation/questions. My PA seemed like he did care but I am left feeling like they want my money more than finding a solution to help me.

Her administrative staff do not return messages, they do not follow up with necessary insurance preapprovals, they cancel appointments regularly and then make you reschedule through text messaging or AI, they are unfriendly and they fail to process basic medical records requests. I've never encountered a medical practice that was so poorly managed.

I had severe cystic acne that left me with depressions in my cheeks and made me extremely self conscious when wearing makeup or being in a certain kind of light that seemed to call even more attention to my scars. As someone who has lived with acne scars for over 20 years and has tried a whole host of topical creams, fillers and even laser treatments, I was optimistic when I was referred to Dr. Bhatia by my dermatologist. When I met with Dr. Bhatia for my consultation, I could hear the confidence in his voice that I was a great candidate for subcision and filler. He explained the procedure along with the realistic expected recovery time. Additionally he laid out a plan for how to improve other skin concerns I had like my skin texture, acne flare-ups and oil production. I left hopeful that he could help make some improvements to the depressed areas on my cheeks. It is now 5 months after my subcision procedure and there aren't enough words to describe how happy I am with the results. How can I trust them with performing 3 face surgeries when I am bounced around like a ping pong ball. Also, there are several different phone numbers between their 2 offices to make it more confusing. Terrible experience with appointments & handling my faxed bioposy & notes from my dermatologist & Elk Grove canceling a previous made appointment due to a fax machine issue. Who in the medical field even uses fax machines anymore?

Scheduling the first couple sessions was almost impossible though, i actually referred a couple people but they had the same problem scheduling an appmt, the receptionists didn't really know the Spa schedule and or would put us on hold several times. The schedules were not accurate in any website i visited, there's a different schedule for the Spa and the ob clinic. I really liked Marcela the new tech makes you feel comfortable and changed the schedule which seemed to be lot more persistent. Overall i liked the place and good service but just have some advice, If you have a Spa don't ask the client to bring their own beach towel try to have some there and also give them a sheet to cover up while waiting its a little awkward sitting there even for a minute without something to cover. Marcella does an excellent job and is great to talk to. She is here on Wednesdays and Fridays. I had no problem setting up appointments and the office ladies are nice. It is 100% painless and you will start seeing the hairs fall away in the shower in a few days right after the 1st session. You shave the area that you want done before you go in so that the laser can heat the root of the hair. I initially went in for just my chest because it would get itchy, but I also added fingers, shoulders and arms in the next session. I will add legs in next time as well. My skin feels smoother and cleaner. My trainer at the gym noticed the hair on my shoulders was gone after 2 sessions. He's going to get his back done here. The hairiest areas will take 3-4 sessions to see the best results, but they give you 6 sessions. Any hairs that don't get wiped out between sessions grow back much thinner and lighter until they're gone. The office is very clean. It's good if you bring your own beach towel to lay down on and wipe off with when you're done, but they also have their own smaller towels too. I highly recommend going here if you want hair removal. I'm really happy I found this place from all their good reviews. It's very affordable and effective.
