I stayed in a 1 bedroom Executive Suite, 36th floor. Amazing Views! Floor to ceiling windows, view of the city and beautiful green Hawaiian mountains. Room was extremely clean, staff was so nice and very accommodating! 4 stars because the room was a bit outdated could have used a few renovations for the modern touch (like cabinets) but overall nice enough to get you through your work! I have not been on this property for 40 years or so. I booked as it was near the courthouse. The room is amazing! Kitchenette, washer dryer, basic plates cups cutlery- small jetted tub. A friend and I stayed here for 2 or 3 nights while visiting another friend of ours in a nearby hospital. The layout of our room was a little strange and the bathroom was very dated, but overall everything was fine for our needs. WiFi was strong, which was important for us because we both needed to work while there. The only restaurant in the building was closed for renovations or something, so there was no room service. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, although most did not seem to keep standard hours of operation - some only open for lunch, some only open for dinner, some only open weekdays, etc., and they don't necessarily adhere to whatever Google says, so you kind of just have to take your chances. Staff were really friendly and helpful with storing some stuff we needed to keep frozen, and also when we needed to extend our stay 1 night. This isn't somewhere I'd make a point to return to for a vacation, but as a crash pad while spending the majority of our time visiting a friend in the hospital, it was totally fine, centrally located, and budget-friendly. read more

Thank god we checked in at 9pm and checked out at 9am to jump on a cruise. I wouldn't stay here again. It's really outdated and weathered. There's an AC hotel across the street that is well worth the additional money. The sheets were clean but the floors and hallways were filthy. There's marks all over the walls and it's honestly just really gross. Even for a night, I wouldn't recommend. The front desk staff were very nice and precessional. read more

I stayed here for 6 nights. Room on 35th floor. The view of the harbor was spectacular! Room was spacoius - actually its more of a studio apartment. Small kitchen area was a nice plus - I did cook my own food for a few of the days. Chinatown matkets and even a Safeway ate in walking distance. Waikiki is about 3.5 miles away - utban hiking to Waikiki is doable or Biki bike system is a convenient way to get around. Or the public bus is an optional. Housekeeping is every 3 days. Lena was my housekeeper. Friendly courteous fast yet thorough service. Thanks, Lena! Furniture is aged (scratches and scraps) but not an eyesore. Leather sofa and lounge chair/loveseat were comfortable! Nice pool area, small but nice yet not crowded. I guess why do the pool when the beaches are so nice. Room floor was clean enough not to get white socks dirty. Its not a resort so no resort fee! I recommend the Aston Executive Center. Oh, lots of security personnel in the area. Some rooms are privately owned but managed by Aston. It's a bit outdated but manageable. Lobby was clean. Parking is assigned and $30/day. Stayed in a one bedroom with a full kitchen. Full size fridge. Some units have a mini fridge. Cooking range, dishwasher, sink and counter top microwave. Reserved an ocean view. Though an ocean view is if you can see the ocean between two buildings, it's an ocean view. The furniture was very tired. Sofa was worn out with too many uses and same with the mattress. Utensils was sporadic. 4 plates, bowls and drink ware. But 6 various size spoons, 2 knives and 4 forks. No paper towel included. Really wish they supplied it. Had to request a drink pitcher. This really should be a standard. Otherwise water pressure and water temperature was good. Unit had its own washer and dryer. Hotel also has a coin laundry room if needed. There's also a pool but didn't try it. Hotel is downtown. So it's quiet at night. Prefer that. And completely dead on the weekends. Restaurants and shops are closed on the weekends. But walking distance to Chinatown, Iolani Palace and other landmarks. Longs and Safeway are two blocks away. Starbucks is a block away. read more

3.5 stars; The husband and I stayed here a few nights, due to my husband's work as it's located centrally in downtown area. The hotel and room itself are outdated, but served its purpose. Our room came with a full kitchen, which was nice! Bed was clean and comfy, and we appreciated the nice city views. However, as mentioned earlier, things are outdated such as the furniture and TV, while the restroom area is in need of updating. I also spotted some stains on the carpet, sofa, and curtains. Again, located centrally in downtown area and a few blocks away from Chinatown, there are places to eat and explore. However, not very close to the beach, shopping or family activities compared to Waikiki. All in all, this place wasn't bad, but it's more of a place you stay for work purposes rather than for vacation (unless you want to be away from Waikiki). Front desk was professional and courteous. Amenities include pool, parking garage, laundry facilities, and you can also get free tickets to the Bishop Museum and Honolulu Museum of Art admission! Another thing to note, this building shares its space, acting as an apartment/condo, so it's not a true hotel as there are residents living in between units and floors, which we had no issues with. read more

I wish I had researched this place better. I went off the photos they have on their website as to what the rooms were like. This is not a hotel - it's best described as an Air b& b. It turned out to be an outdated condo not a hotel room. They still have the Covid restrictions in play. So they tell you at the desk they clean the room every three days. Which means you have to go to the front desk for towels. The tv in the bedroom had very limited Channels. Lots of homeless around the area. So best to pay the 30 dollars a day to park in the deck. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for older individuals. The hotel lobby is in the basement so you either have to carry your bags down a slim steep escalator, or use the call button for one small elevator. The hotel is old - some rooms seem to be renovated such as the ones my friends are staying in. Others like MY room have 1960s carpet, dusty vents and the bathroom was not cleaned effectively, and has an old high tub. I am thankful we only stayed one night so that I can get out of here in an hour. There is an AC hotel right across the street. I would suggest you book there, I am sure it's the same price, or cheaper and newer. read more

The room was huge with Kitchenette, Dining Table, and Desk in addition to a comfortable Queen Bed and very comfortable Eames Chair and Ottoman; but too many things were misrepresented or broken. Flatscreen was impressive in size. It would have been nice if the remote worked without a great hassle. The one time I got it working, and tried to buy a movie, it turned out that it wasn't a hotel option, it was a Spectrum option, and Spectrum couldn't help me. The spa tub with jets was a pleasant surprise, and the instructions were easy to follow. Unfortunately the jets did nothing and the controls had long since been removed. It would have been nice if they also took down the instructions, and saved me the disappointment. I had filled the tub in great expectation, only to get a soak. The soak was nice but after the soak, I couldn't drain the tub, as the drain was broken. At least I got a shower and a foot soak the next morning, as the tub was still full. This hotel is "older" but is is well kept, clean and close proximity to downtown and Chinatown.

Needs some updating but served it's purpose. We chose this location as it was walking distance to the cruise port. The you arrive at the location, you'll see an escalator going down. This takes you to the lobby and guest check in. There was a funky smell every time we took the escalator down so good thing we were only staying there for one night. Now, this hotel isn't only used for a hotel. Upon talking to people on the elevator, it's also used as residence and rentals. Good to know. When you walk into the room, the kitchen is directly to the left furnished with appliances and table. The separate bedroom includes all of the usual amenities. The beds aren't very comfortable and the bathroom could really use a remodel. I will say it was clean and fine for a night. Like I said, it was close to the cruise port and served it's purpose. There needs to be a 24/7 security guy and a bell service outside making sure people doing drop offs, arriving or departing are safe! This is a very sketchy area during the day and at night time and I don't feel that the building is being managed as good as it could be in terms of safety. I realize downtown is full of lolos but at least in front of a big hotel on the street it should be lit up well at night and making people feel safe. Not like you might get attacked if you don't make it down the escalator fast enough. read more

Located in the heart of downtown/financial district and a block from China town. This place is a decent place if you happen to be on a business trip but other than that, ​not a "vacation" hotel. It is a mix of hotel rooms and condominiums so the crowd​ is very different than you would expect. The rooms are clean and large with nice views of Mauka and Makai. It is also very reasonably priced​ room. The pool is located in the middle of the building and large enough for lap swim. read more

I stayed here for 8 days in November because of the location. It's near HPU Aloha Tower Dorms where my niece lives. I love the downtown location because it's walking distance to other historical sites - palace, Chinatown, and other buildings I cannot remember the names. I did walk to Waikiki area which is about 2-3 Miles. I'm a walker/hiker so it wasn't a problem for me. I had the Mountain View room which was great. The room had a little kitchen with basic cooking and dining supplies. It was very clean and comfortable. There were no bugs at all. I was able to save money by eating in some days. The bed was great - big and so comfortable! TV was great too. The front desk were always helpful if I had any questions or problems. I rented a car so I need a parking space. The price was comparable to other locations. I did asked to change space because it was too small for my car - next to a pillar. The front desk had no problems doing so and even moved the car for me. Housekeeping were also amazing. My room was always clean every day. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Great location and excellent service. It was great place to use as my home base while I visited my niece and explored the island. I would definitely stay here again. read more

The reviews are all over the place on this one. I think if you think you are near the tourist areas, then you'd be dead wrong...this is in China town area and business area. Suffice it to say, you'll need a car to go places. China town in Honolulu is not a great place at night. There are smaller shops in the day time, and really no place to wander and eat at night. The parking in this place needs help. I was in the 14th floor, with condominium dwellers, and you take one set of elevator to get into your room. If you want to go to your car, you need to go back down to the lobby, and take another set of lifts to the garage. BTW, the stalls reserved for hotel patrons are the ones unmarked with"24 hour reserved", and they start on the 6th floor and up. OK, besides all this set back, I actually like this place. I think if you were to conduct business here in HNL, it's very convenient. The suite has a kitchen (ok load up with your spam musubis and rice and Portuguese sausages, coconut juices in your fridge), a TV room, a bedroom and a nice modern bathroom. Very new. We stayed here January '13 last year for our first time in Hawaii. It is such a nice and clean hotel in the heart of downtown Honolulu. Even though they have appartments for rent to long term guests the place was always well kept and the room service was on point. We didn't get to spend much time at our hotel room as we were always out and about in tours for the island, but our room was always neat and clean when we got there to sleep and shower. The view from our room was amazing! We got to experience one of the most beautiful sunsets ever! It was so romantic! I am sad we didn't get to stay here this second time in Honolulu, but we thought being much more close to the beach would be better for us... boy we were wrong! Anyway, if you ever in Honolulu don't hesitate to stay here. You won't regret it. read more

Awesome suite hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff, great downtown location. As a female on work assignment, there is security in lobby all the time. It has everything I need. Odd smells sometimes from people cooking and it can get funky. Parking structure is narrow for cars in both directions at times. Washer & dryer in suite which is a big plus. Walking distance to Chinatown @ Aloha Tower. Bus stop right outside the hotel/condo. Next door is Starbucks, Longs Drugstore, 24 hour Fitness, Ross Dress for Less, across the street is McDonald's and Marukame Udon-yummy! Homeless people are in the area- the most unpleasant part and going out alone at night isn't a good idea, but with another person or a group, it's cool. First Friday of the month the Chinatown area comes alive with frequent performance stages set up and Hawaii Theatre is couple blocks away with great diverse local talent. It's not a luxury resort in anyway, but for a business traveler or long term guest, this place works! Been here for 6 months and in 3 different rooms - some rooms are better than others and updated. I would Recommend if wanting to be out of Waikiki and you want a different Oahu experience. read more

I give this hotel the lowest review since they used my bank debit and credit cards however they wanted. They charged me twice and the day I checked out I was surprised at the airport that they had charged another amount, I have no idea why they charged me €380 and i still haven't gotten the money from the refund.... advice look at your accounts at all times because they are ready to charge you without you knowing anything about it unless you check. read more

Located in the heart of downtown Honolulu, I had high hopes for my return visit to the Aston. My previous stay at this property was decent as the room was nice (beautiful view and nice room) with amenities to match. This particular visit, however, was not up to standards. I'll start with the positives first: customer service was very good; the room was large w/ a kitchenette, dining area, couch and breath-taking views. Negatives: the front escalator is out so I had to wait for a very small elevator which only comes after pressing the button for the front desk (minor complaint). The room was not near as nice as the previous smaller room I had. First off the door to the room was beat to heck. The carpet was stained in numerous areas (picture attached of one area). I turned on the TV and could not get it to work so I called the front desk and they stated I needed to follow the directions that are posted on the night stand. Wow, I've not seen something so complicated, but maybe it was because I had traveled for almost 24 hours to get to Honolulu. Anyway I tried to figure this out for 20 minutes before I gave up and called the front desk again. Maintenance came promptly and after some tinkering around determined that the cable box was unplugged. He plugged it in and turned on the TV. He left and after unpacking I tried to change the channel--no go. I repeated the direction on the nightstand. Nope. I called back and maintenance was sent promptly to my room. He came in and it worked. He left and I worked with the remote and found out that it only worked if I pointed it within 1 foot of the cable box aimed right at it. At least it worked, that day. On day 2, I turned on the tv and after pointing at the cable box and pressing the remote buttons for almost 30 minutes, and moving only 5 stations I left it where it was (on the news). Day 3, I tried over and over to change the channel but it would not work. The tv would come on but was stuck on the Hawaii Info channel. Two last comments about the room: the AC control is as old as I've seen anywhere (see photo). That may explain why I had it on 70 and it was hot as Hades all the time, especially in the middle of the night. Bathroom needs a make-over. The Pool: I didn't bring a towel as I expected for them to have them by the pool as most hotels, but I couldn't find any. The décor of the pool is so drab, it was depressing. I only stayed out for an hour. I think that is enough for now. You get the picture. read more

The location is really key to this hotel, especially if you are working downtown. You can walk to the 24 hr fitness (right next door), and many restaurants. The staff was attentive and the hotel lobby and rooms are fairly clean. On the not so great side - this hotel is very dated. Apparently none of the rooms actually match (which isn't always a bad thing), but it seems like a makeover is needed. I also think having a gym inside the hotel would be just as important as a pool. If you are parking at the hotel, you may have to drive up 7 levels as well (kind of an annoyance). read more

The security helped me out when I needed them right away and the Front desk associate also went above and beyond to resolve an issue that was impacting our 18 month old son (even after her shift was over). My parents and brother decided to visit and so we needed suites. We decided on the Executive Center because it's close to my office and the center of everything. BAD mistake. My mom's room was clean, new, and nice. Our rob was NASTY. . I'm sure that the reception didn't care that I asked for a cleaner, newer room. They said they were all sold out. There were a rob of homeless people walking around, IN THE HOTEL. And as we pulled into the driveway, there was one urinating on the driveway. There were holes in the cupboards and I swear I was scratching ALL night. I have a baby at Kapiolani Medical Center and I felt like I should have spent the night there. Stayed here for almost 3 months while finding housing for our move back to HI. Was in a 1-bedroom condo style. Chose here because we KNEW we didn't want anything to do with staying in Waikiki, but needed to be close to town (not out in Kailua in a timeshare or something). KILLER washer/dryer in the unit. If you have children or just a dirty spouse, that washer/dryer is a godsend. Seriously. Save on laundry soap, laundromat costs, just plain ol' time from schlepping your delicates up and down to a machine that had who-knows-what just in it. I did laundry at 1am while watching Chopped, at a hotel. How cool is that? Kitchen was stocked, and we were able to ask for a complimentary rice cooker (only in Hawaii, brah!). Our unit was a little older, so there were no drawers in the kitchen (okaaaaayyyyy...), but we got used to having the silverware caddy in the cabinet above the stove. Refrigerator was full sized, which was very nice for a hotel room. Microwave was pretty powerful, too, and also full-sized. Housekeeping was 1x/week, which was perfect for us anyway. I clean my stuff myself, thanks. Seriously, who cleans only 1x/week in regular life? But the times we did use the housekeeping service (honestly, I think we did it just so the hotel could be reassured that we weren't raising ferrets or cooking meth on their property; it's a small way that they know the room won't be a mosh pit when we leave, so we're cool with it), it was fine. The housekeepers were really nice, and mostly just wanted to do their job and get on with it. Very thorough for most hotels, from what we could see. But I still had my own vacuum (some people collect stamps; I clean). Rooms were quiet and the mattresses were decent. View was awesome. We had a mountain view on an upper floor. Not the typical "Hawaii hotel room" view, but we loved it. Views of the city at night were great; floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom made for beautiful night lights. Got caught humming "Honolulu City Lights" by the significant other more than once. Eh, no shame! Location, location, location, my friends. Bus stop right below you, Longs Drugs just off the escalator, and 7-11 right below you too. If you just happen to have a 2am manapua craving (and ok, we did), well, there ya go. Not super big on the nightlife part of it, although we knew Aloha Tower was walkable and so was Ward, really. Pretty much nighttime was the right time to chill from working all day, and that's what we did--to that effect, there weren't any loud parties or loud people on our floor or in the hotel, for that matter. Aaaaaand parking...OK, so it's a mixed use building, so people own condos there, have offices there, and there are quite a few people who just use the parking structure to park for their personal errands (had more than one person park in our stall to use the 24-hour fitness place; thaaaaanks, guys). The parking management didn't like to tow people because it was such a hassle, although it's posted clearly on almost every reserved stall--so sometimes we had to just find parking somewhere else. Eh, it was OK, but some of those weirdly ropy women were flat-out scary to see back-lit late at night, sweating their way through the parking structure... The hotel staff were incredibly nice and helpful, remembered your name, and the concierge was very gracious. Would recommend staying here to any visitor looking to experience Hawaii beyond fake plastic leis and the pros in Waikiki. So it's not the Four Seasons or Kahala Mandarin, but if you want good value, nice local people who aren't stuck-up, great location, easy access, and good amenties, this is your pick. read more

Every day I past by this property on the way to and from work in downtown Honolulu and not really thinking that people actually live and stay here on a continuing basis. I kind of new this place was a hotel, but not until i stepped into this world that i knew this place was for real. The Aston Executive Centre hotel is part condo and part hotel that caters heavily to the business traveler, as since the location is basically in the heart of Honolulu's financial district. For me, it's just another skyscraper in Honolulu's urban core till a friend of mine who happened to stay here for a week on business and I got to take a look to see what makes this property tick. Located in the hub of Honolulu's vibrant economic zone, the Aston Executive Centre hotel sits on the corner of Bishop Street and North Hotel Street. Hawaii Pacific University has its downtown campus also in the building, and a variety of banking instructions are nearby, as well as many downtown eateries that suit your needs. The public transportation system weaves in on Hotel Street, Alakea Street, and Bishop Street, depending on where you are going. Multiple bus routes string around this downtown hub, so you can get anywhere from the Aston to wherever you want to go. There is a parking structure adjacent to the building. The ramp is next to the seating area of Starbucks on Bishop Street. Primo parking spot for your business needs, but as always, it's not included with the room rate. Deciding to hang out with my business traveler friend during her recent stay over a long holiday weekend at the Aston Executive Centre (July 4th), I was treated to a slice of luxury that was reserved for the upper crust of society. I felt spoiled to be here and marveled at how it was to be in her. Granted that I graduated with my business degree from University of Hawaii-Manoa, but its like the people who stay here are heavy hitters in the corporate realm. The check in process felt like a private exclusive club that only a few people get to indulge in. I'm sure it felt good that my friend got to stay here, when there are plenty of properties in Waikiki to choose from. Every guest that came through here were treated with the utmost honor and respect. Never mind the customary pleasantries, but they happen to do the extra mile, whenever it behooves the hotel staff to do so. I felt so privileged to be here, it was ridiculous. I'm sure it was money well spent, but business was to be done here and my friend did just that. Nothing else was here. No concierge or any other fancy amenities, which was cool. The comfort was important. The room that she requested was the deluxe ocean view, which was very much tasteful and overlooking Aloha Tower and Honolulu Harbor on the 10th floor, but a lot of buildings obscured the nice view, so it wasn't too pleasing to see. The room was a marvelously immaculate suite with accompanying office space. The room was air conditioned controlled and very much spotless - meticulous to detail and spotted that regal touch that only top tier hotel brands enjoy. The entire experience of this condo/hotel was very enchanting and amazing to say. If I were to be a millionaire someday, I would consider hanging out for a week here, since it is a slice of heaven here. No room service and the wifi was iffy at times. My friend and I and opted out to hang out and dine in Waikiki during the weekend while she wasn't working. It was nice. The bed itself, my friend had told me, was quite comfortable and she could have laid in bed all day and relax. Thought that was a good compliment to the hotel. The overall experience of this hotel was above average to clipping excellent. While the room rate could have been more accommodating to guests, the service, ambiance, and non existing amenities were of value to those who continue to live here and stay here. I felt pampered here, without doing much of the spending. Just being here makes me smile and feel important. That's something that keeps me coming back, if the opportunity arises again. If you're looking for a beachside hotel with all the amenities - this is not what you're looking for. BUT - if you're looking for a place to stay for an extended period of time and want most "bang for your buck" without sacrificing quality - you've found your home. I stayed here from late March through late May, 2010. Before arriving I reviewed TripAdvisor and saw the attention the management paid to complaints - and I contacted them directly. I explained what I was coming for, and we were able to arrange for exactly what I wanted (more than I needed) at a price that worked for my allowable expenses. I had a ocean view, 1-bedroom suite on the 38th floor. CONS: - You're downtown which is great for business and commuting (there's a huge bus stop out back) but not close to beaches. If you can get past this - you're fine. - The restaurant downstairs isn't open on weekends (downtown shuts down) - The downtown area turns into a virtual ghost-town after 6 (BUT - the nearby Aloha Towers shopping center has a brewery and Hooters, and several restaurants are open). - The complimentary breakfast is fairly plain and carb heavy (coffee/juice, variety of patries, bagels/toast, fruit, granola bar/rice krispie bar) but is restocked about every 30 minutes and the Kona coffee is tasty - Wired internet in rooms but not wireless (only in breakfast area) - You HAVE to contact them before arriving if driving to figure out your assigned parking spot to prevent a painful check in (no streetside lobby) - Elevators for main tower then transfer to different elevator for parking garage - makes last minute "i forgot..." a little painful - No real "business center" but they happily print off documents at the front desk when needed PROS: - Everything else. - They were ready for my arrival, efficient and friendly check-in - I was VERY impressed with my room upon arriving - clean, bright, SPACIOUS, well-equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs, (couch vs love seat would have been nice..but minor), big bedroom, and well-equipped room (full kitchen w/ full fridge and stove, desk, living room, washer/dryer, safe, ironing board/iron, safe, tvs) - Ocean (and breakfast room) view overlooks the harbor and towards HNL. Not Waikiki scenic, but still a great view of the ocean, downtown, and to the north (ewa beach and pearl city) - Quiet rooms (I know I had neighbors but NEVER heard them) - VERY comfortable beds - Weekly maid service (I don't like daily - no need for it) and available trash dumps on each floor - Friendly staff that were always smiling and ready to help - Convienent for working out (24 hr fitness around the corner, and easy to run along Nimitz Hwy towards Waikiki for a no-traffic and scenic run) - Awesome location for downtown shopping/eating/coffee houses etc - You can exit the H-1 after the Airport at Nimitz Hwy and take that to the hotel instead of sitting in the HEAVY traffic at the H-1/H-201 merge I'm missing a million things after a 2+ month stay, but I couldn't have been happier. Staying here gave me all the conviences of an apartment allowing me to buy groceries and stretch my budget - allowing me to enjoy my stay in Honolulu and freeing up money for fun. This review is 5 stars for service for my family in a pinch. The front desk was very gracious and charged me only 1 night when I checked in at 3am and checked out at 7pm. This review is 1.5 stars for the quality of the room and the area. Very very dated room. Very little update since the early 90's. Very small kitchen that would be essentially worthless if you needed to really do anything. Desk area is minimal. Sheets were uncomfortable. Bathroom is very dated. Know nothing of the other amenities. read more

This review is for the EARLY BIRD PARKING rate of $9. This is for the general public and for any unreserved parking stall. I park frequently at this parking garage, which if you enter before 9AM from Monday to Friday, the rate is $9. That was the rate I would usually pay. It is cheaper than the other early bird special rates in Downtown, of $10. On one occasion, I came in super early, around 6AM and stayed at my office until 11PM. It was a long day at the office. As I was not sure if the early bird rate still applied, after I drove in to the parking garage, I walked over to the morning parking attendent lady and asked until what time the parking special was valid for. She reassured me that it would be only $9 if I left before midnight. When I came out, the parking attendant, which was a different person, charged me $45! I informed her that the morning parking attendant had assured me that it was only supposed to be $9. Needless to say, she was uncaring and told me that the charge showing on the display was $45 and if I had a problem, I could call management in the morning, as their office hours were closed already.... at 11PM. VERY, VERY unimpressed at the level of inconsistency of the parking garage. I'm a busy person and it was a busy week for me. I did not have time to call the number, be put on wait and have to explain a situation which was clearly already assured to me earlier that morning. Needless to say, I do not have the patience or positive experience to come back to this parking garage and have not yet been back since. read more

I'm breaking my review into two parts. Part one is about the hotel and part two is for the parking structure. Our office usually books our mainland employees in this hotel when they fly in for training or important meetings. I got a chance to hangout at my co-workers room. The room was very spacious with 2 queen sized beds. The stuff in the room was very run down and the carpet had stains. The only view she saw was Bishop Square, Pauahi Tower and the ASB Tower. About the parking, I pay for the monthly unreserved space. I have to admit, there are mornings where I hate this parking structure because I drive all the way up to the 10th floor and when there's no space, I call the attendant and they tell me to drive back down! It takes 5 minutes to go up and another 5 minutes to go back down. The attendant assigns me a space and sometimes, a car is already parked in the space. So I have to call the attendant again and drive to a different floor. There are days where I spend 20 minutes in this structure trying to find an unreserved stall. I think the early bird parking needs to go away or at least have those people park on the 10th floor. Since they only pay $10 a day, put them on the highest floor. That's what Mark's Garage does. I don't understand how someone paying $250+ a month still has to park on the highest floor in the structure. That's just wrong and it's a waste to gas. read more

This place is awesome. I didn't even know there was a hotel in Chinatown until my friends got a room here for No Suck Fest weekend. Right smack dab in the middle of basically everything, you have access to the bars and clubs in Chinatown, Restaurant Row and even Aloha Tower. Way more reach than Waikiki! The view is spectacular and a really nice change from your typical beach, Waikiki view. The beds are really comfortable and the room is big! There's a living room area as well as a sink. They have great kama'aina rates and I'm still tripping how there's hotel in Chinatown. I'll have to get a room here next time! read more

We were put up in a condo here on the 33rd floor for work for a month. This is not a review for the hotel, but basically the units look the same. I thought, since I know Oahu pretty well and didn't want to be too touristy, I'd be better off downtown than in Waikiki. It's a bit easier to drive from here to work, but I kind of wish I could just walk to the beach. I did walk once to Ala Moana Beach Park but it took about 30 minutes and wasn't a very nice walk, really. There's very convenient access to frequent but slow bus lines. And if you drive it only takes about 10 minutes to get to Waikiki. But, then there's little parking in Waikiki except in pricey lots. On the plus side, the unit has washer/dryer, full kitchen, in a 1-Br suite with a small pool in the building. There's a fair amount of easy cheap eats within walking distance during the day (but not at night or weekends). The view (we look to the mountain) is pretty great, with big windows. Sadly, there is no Lanai (patio) and, in fact, none of the windows even open, so it feels a bit claustrophobic. In summary, there's no major problems, but it's not somewhere I'd look to stay in again. If you need to be right downtown every day for work, that might be the deciding factor that makes it worth your while. That, and if it's going to save you a lot of money, then go for it, and spend your money on food! read more

A bit of a different hotel... It shares floors with apartments and businesses. It has the feel of an office building that was turned into a hotel- which is kind of nice. At first was disappointed when we booked a 2 double bed room and they have us a room with 1 double and a couch and told us that beds were merely a "request." However. When asked nicely, we were given our original "request" of two beds. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean with amenities am such as a flatscreen TV, a fridge, mini stove and dunk and microwave.
