    Living room for suite.

Clean room. Comfortable linens and bedding. We had a full ocean view room, and it was great. Paid extra for a suit, which came with club v47 privileges. It was about $900 a night, so $300 a night extra, but well worth it.

I really like this place. The hotel is situated in Waikiki and is easy access to all the shops, beaches , and wonderful food that O'ahu has to offer. You can park easily with valet and they have a Monkeypod as their restaurant. What an amazing view of diamond head. They have a small beach , I remeber it has been larger , Mother Nature has her ways. The morning sunrise and sunset from the breakwall is beautiful. Easy to get to right off the back steps of the hotel. It's actually kinda private now. Fort Derusey is on the right so you can head down to the Hale Koa and the other big hotels and the Alamoana Shopping Center is a 20 minute walk. The Hotel is clean, the staff is very nice , the doormen, housekeeping , and all the staff are polite and helpful. The Concierge and desk staff go out of their way to give good suggestions a out the area , they make it very easy to check in/ out and any other needs I had.. 5 stars to them as well. We will be back. Take advantage of the food offers.. just a suggestion. It helps on the budget . The room was

Do not stay here. I don't understand how this hotel has four stars. The rooms are outdated & small, the patio is very* small and depressing, in the views are awful. I stayed at a three-star hotel here with my mom a year and a half ago and I'm not exaggerating it was five times nicer than this place! I cannot believe we are paying $450 per night for such an awful hotel. It is a true rip off. Do not stay here, you are not getting a 4 star experience, its more like 1 star.

This is a great hotel if you want to be right in the middle of Waikiki. Its located near a lot of things, food, beach, shopping, restaurants, are all near by, lots of people and amenities. The hotel has an ABC store in its lobby, so thats super convenient. Hotel staff was super nice,A+. The views and beach access are great. Pool and bar are great, and the Monkeypot is ok. Room was clean and well maintained. Beds were good and bathroom was nice, except for the door to the toilet. It didn't close all the way and thus not much privacy. The only bad issue we had with this hotel was the door "key" wrist band thing. We had 4 of them and could never get them to work well. At one point i stood there for 10 minutes trying to open the door. But over all this is a good place to stay in Waikiki. We would stay here again for sure.

Cost: Three night stay in early Feb. We reserved the Club Oceanfront room with King bed, with the Kama'aina discount. The nightly Kama'aina rate for this room was $454... or $1,362 for three nights. However, the additional charges bumped the total cost up to $1,694. Those charges included GET $19.99 per night, State Transient Accommodation Tax $46.68, County Transient Accommodation Tax $12.73, Parking $30 per night, and $1.41 Parking GET. Grand total of $1,694.43. Service: Check-in and check-out was a breeze, fast, friendly and super efficient. Very professional. Likewise, valet was very easy and fast. Room: Our Club Oceanfront room with King bed on the 7th floor of the Ocean Tower was very spacious, clean, and modern. You are issued a digital wristband to wear and you use it for the elevator and to open your room door. It was better than having to reach into your wallet for a room key. The view of the ocean and Diamond Head from the balcony is unbeatable. You are also issued a Towel Card which you exchange at the pool for two large beach towels. You are given your Towel Card back when returning the two beach towels. You MUST turn-in your Towel Card when you check-out, otherwise they will charge you $50. I guess they assume you either lost the towels or kept them, so ya gotta pay. Club Voyager 47: The Club room grants you access to the Voyager 47 lounge, which includes free mini buffet for breakfast (0630-0930) and a mini buffet for dinner (1630-1830). It includes an open bar for beer, wine, and cocktails too. The food items for bfast and dinner were rotated but never left us wanting for more. Dinner always had salad, fruits, and breads. We had chicken stir fry, pasta, coconut shrimp just to name a few. We enjoyed all the meals and felt it was worth the Club upgrade. Overall, a very pleasant staycation. We highly recommend this hotel. It's on quiet Kalia Street, sandwiched between Fort Derussy Park and the Halekulani Hotel.

Great resort hotel with all the amenities. Great staff that are very helpful. Close to lots of great restaurants. Walking distance to great shopping, parks, and the beach. Reasonably priced.

Ocean view room was exactly as described. Bed was comfortable. Shower water pressure was as desired. There is more than enough storage space for 2 people. Sliding doors do wonders to muffle outside pool and street noise. Hotel restaurant is delicious!!! Check yelp for glowing reviews. I would stay here again. The beach area is rocky and small but adequate with other nearby locations a walk away. The pool is on the chilly side and the hot tubs are HOT!! I wish there was a warm pool...

We stayed here for the week and I have to say the service there was wonderful! All of the employees were nice and accommodating. Tough to get a spot by the pool unless you set up shop at 9am. The do have cabanas you can rent for 1/2 the day for $50 so you can be in the sun. The pool has shade until about noon. Not a heated pool. The breakfast for the Voyager 47 was club nice and the views on the ocean were great. The host made it easy to give your room number and take the hot breakfast on the patio or eat indoors. The also have snacks and happy hour in the afternoon from 4-6pm. Again staff is great! The one complaint, this is not the best ocean view property. The beach is super Small and being able to walk on the beach was very misleading. Also they were doing work in the lobby so it was not super Relaxing and quiet by the pool. Overall a great place but plan to have a vacation filled with kids a small pool and a very small beach.

Had a great experience at this hotel, from the check in process to food and entertainment requesting. Very happy with the service and conditions, very clean. Happy with the maintenance of the rooms and the buffets. Happy with my 5 day stay.

I appreciate that they don't hound you to death over a membership. We did the upgrade for Lounge 47 access. Although it's a nice added bonus with friendly staff I probably wouldn't do it again. After paying for it you feel like you have to use it to get your money's worth. I'd rather have the flexibility to do what I wish. This area is really struggling with its shoreline and is losing a lot of its beach. Wished the a/c worked a little better. Love the water bottle filling stations.

This is an absolutely gorgeous place to stay in Waikiki. When I arrived, the front desk staff were friendly and there was live music playing in the lobby. It's a very inviting atmosphere. My problem with the resort, and it may be a common thing in the area were the high fees. Upon check in we were told there was another significant resort fee to pay on top of what we prepaid as well as a fee for a roll away bed even though online my room said there was a couch/pull out sofa available in this room type when there wasn't. I was a bit disappointed by this and it made my exciting trip more of a stressful situation.

Hotel offers different types of pillows in the room and spare blanket in armoire. Also in the armoire is hangers, an ironing board and steaming iron, which came in handy for those wrinkled linen shirts mashed in my suitcase. The Bathroom. - one sink with a little counter top space but sufficient. The toilet was also bidet in the master bath. The shower pressure on 21st is ok but low, but it did the job. The Ac in room was awesome! It gets super cold, if you need it, quickly. It was nice for those hot humid days of walking in Waikiki. It had an In-room mini fridge and bar sink with 4 real drinking glasses, which I like. Hated there was no freezer in the mini fridge But the bell hop station offers to freeze ice packs, or whatever you need, for you. We had 3 sliding doors with west views and moderate views of Waikiki beach. The Second bedroom has own bath with also a single sink, toilet and shower- No bidet. The room/bedding/bathrooms were clean with no mold in the showers. The furniture showed a little wear but nothing excessive. The Elevators were fast! The pool, mangers reception and breakfast are all on the 4th Floor (terrace level). Breakfast was typical of Embassy Suites, I like the made to order omelette which makes it much better. Lots of fresh fruit and even some miso soup and other Japanese/Hawaiian offerings. The Staff was awesome and super friendly. I Used valet every day. Great service, fast and practical IMO but hard to swallow the daily fee. The hotel was attacked to the Waikiki beach walk. Island vintage coffee was a regular stop for coffee and sometimes breakfast. Order coffee or food to go online after 8am to save a ton of time standing in line. Hotel was Very close to all ththe shops. Awesome location. Much better location than Hilton Hawaiian village location!!! Our fav restaurant close by the hotel was Kana Pilla and Monkey Pod, which were across the street. Make sure to make Open Table reservations for both way ahead of time. I did mine 2 months out. Housekeeping willing to clean and supply new towels daily however linens are not cleaned but every 5 day, unless you request it, which they are happy to do! Views from 21st floor were awesome and all 21st floor rooms had extensive balconies. 3 sliding doors. Keep in mind Ac doesn't work, yes the fan blows, when the doors are open!! It's too humid at night to sleep with them open so we had them open for select times, mostly am. There's a Washer/dryer laundry room on site, 3rd floor only. It was Very convenient especially packing 4 days of clothes for a 10 day trip so our suitcases weren't stuffed . Use laundry room on sundays/mon or late evenings when people are too busy arriving and leaving. $5.25 to each wash load and I think $4.75 to dry. Washers only wash with cold which I like. Perm press on dryer seemed to dry all our shirts and socks well. We hung our nice Aloha shirts on the hangers in the room and they dried within a day. Washer and dryers take credit cards. Yes they're is a soap machine that also takes credit cards. I didn't use and just bought soap from ABC. ABC stores are EVERYWHERE so don't lug around suntan lotion or waters in your suitcase. Just buY at ABC which is only 20 steps away. FYI ABC doesn't no GIVE out bags for items unless you spend over a certain amount. ANC bags cost like .50 cents. ABC has Awesome poke and alcohol (spirit and beer) choices. Yes single purchase tall beers too. Don't forget the free brief fireworks show in front of the Hilton Hawaii Village on Friday nights only. We saw them set off at 7:45p by the lagoon. It's amazing how many people attend so be prepared for the crowds to and from. Big tip: make open table reservations for all your restaurants months ahead! All places are super busy until about 8:45 pm on most nights. Hope I helped.

The Banyan Wing is the original Victorian-era building which is listed on National Historic Registry and houses the main lobby and restaurant. Our Tower room had a great covered patio with incredible views of Waikiki and Diamond Head. We spent a lot of time on the patio watching the surfers, catamarans, and enjoying the island breeze. Our balcony was spectacular :o Our room was updated and very comfortable. I understand the owners completed a full renovation of all rooms in 2026. The beach bar is one of the best in the world. Cold cocktails, beer and wine. Good service. Great views! The drawbacks.... The pool is small and very crowded, especially for 791 rooms. With that said everyone in the pool was smiling and having fun. The beach is also pretty small for such a massive hotel. At high tide the hotel only has about 30 feet of beachfront and it is a public beach so it is crowded Rio style. For us this was not a drawback as we love Waikiki, the birthplace of Hawaiian surfing, and spend most of our time in the surf. Hawaii and Waikiki is one of the few places that completely lives us to the hype year after year and generation after generation. We can't wait to return. Aloha & Mahalo

One of the important standards I look for in a hotel stay, is a focus on supporting locals. For me, if there's a Starbucks in the lobby, then I'm already disappointed. This hotel has one of my favorite local chain cafes, Honolulu Coffee Company. The only local café that has consistently made perfect crema foe decades. Starbucks baristas are not trained for this. The hotel also has restaurants with lots of local flavor. The sushi buffet is amazing but difficult to get a reservation on the weekends. 100 Sails also has a buffet though ordering ala cart seemed like the best choice for us. We booked the Club Premier package, and we felt it was worth it because breakfast at 100 Sails Restaurant on the 3rd floor was excellent every morning. One thing to keep in mind is that parking is not included with your stay and must be paid for separately, which is something to factor into the overall cost. One big concern was the snacks on the 5th floor. We came across moldy bread, which was definitely concerning. I would think the staff would check the food before putting it out, especially considering this is not a cheap hotel. I loved that we could grab coffee every morning from Honolulu Coffee without having to leave the hotel. The lines can get long, but the service is fairly quick. The staff, overall, were not very welcoming and often seemed serious. However, on Monday, June 29, there was an older woman who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She really stood out and made us feel appreciated. One other issue was that the body wash in our room was never refilled, so we ended up not having any during our stay. We also requested a later check out and our key cards aren't working. The front desk never mentioned anything about need to change keys cards if we had a later check out and now we're outside our rooms having to go back downstairs and change our key cards. And they were making it complicated because they wanted my drivers license even though it's in the room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the beautiful views, great amenities, and delicious breakfast made it a memorable family vacation.

The service was outstanding- especially Kristina! She saw that I was visiting with my son and she upgraded our room to have a view of the ocean. She also helped me with a couple of issues I had. All the staff was friendly and responsive to any questions. I will definitely be staying here again!

I stayed at this outrigger property 2 nights from March 6, 2026-March 8, 2026…read more When I checked in I was informed since my stay was for 2 nights if I needed to have my room cleaned to let housekeeping know. Once my room became available I dropped off my luggage and then went directly to the beach. When I returned I did notice some areas of concern where the room was not very well cleaned. Instead of calling housekeeping I went directly downstairs to the front desk. Front desk personnel were busy as there were only 2 people assisting the long line of quests. I decided I'll just deal with the room uncleanliness later. Please be advised that I did take pictures. Once I checked out on Sunday, March 8th, I advised the front desk personnel my concerns. The manager Ira listened to my concerns as I showed her my pictures. She immediately apologized and ask that I email the pictures to their corporate office. Which I did once I arrived back to the mainland. In the room there's a finger or toenail clipping on the carpet between the console and couch. Also you can also see that portion of the carpet has not been vacuumed. The clothed bench in front of bed was extremely stained and filthy. So filthy that I covered the bench with a bath towel if I needed to sit down. Also the refrigerator was very dirty. I chose not to put any food items in the fridge because of this. Also the bottom of the toilet is stained with either fecal matter, urine or maybe it's rust. If so, clean it then use caulking. These are the concerns I have with room 403. Hopefully I'll be hearing from upper management in regards to my unpleasant stay in room 403. The best part of staying at this hotel was the show Auana which is located at this hotel. Needless to say I will not stay at this hotel again.

I love that it is in the heart of Waikiki, very walkable to shopping and nightlife should you want to leave the grounds of the resort. The nightly local music with hula under the sky is magical. Reservations for dinner, or grab a first come first serve cocktail table at 5 to watch the sunset! There is also nightly jazz in the bar. La Mer is a one of a kind French experience and Orchids is fantastic for any meal of the day. Just outside the hotel is a delightful oceanfront park where the hotel hosted yoga each day. A highlight for me. Great poolside service. The beach is small, so if you are looking to lounge on the beach, that's not really much of an option. This hotel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. So you know it has the highest standards. That brand has never steered me wrong. And the fact that it is not under a massive hotel chain umbrella means it can maintain its authentic individuality. Pro tip: if you have a late flight, there is a lounge where you can relax and prepare for your departure, as check out is 11am.

Extremely rude and unprofessional service coming from one of the male bartenders…read more I was accosted while coming out of the restroom , with him frantically asking if I paid the tab, treating me like some sort of criminal. The restroom is in the restaurant area. I never once left the restaurant throughout the entire evening. I was simply on my way to pick up my drink from the seating area and then head to the bar to pay. He told me I was "going the wrong way" when the way I was going would have led to me to the bar... The way this team handles tabs in this bar is abysmal. Right when I sat down, I was attempting to give my bartender my credit card to start a tab. They refused to accept my card and said don't worry about it, and that they'll take it after I'm done. I explicitly told the bartender that I was going over to the lawn right next to the bar (still in the restaurant area) to get a better view of the musical performance, drink in hand. They said go ahead. Nobody should be treated like this

I slept like a baby in the king sized bed! I also liked how there was a small kitchen with cookware and a microwave. We were celebrating a minimoon and were gifted a bottle of champagne, a bar of chocolate, and a lovely fruit platter. Service was impeccable, from check-in to dining to pool service. Breakfast was included in our stay and the food was quite impressive. Not only do you get the breakfast buffet, but you get to order as many small plates as you'd like (mind you, they're already quite filling), and one large plate. You can also take your leftovers to go. Honestly, I would eat breakfast and be set until dinner most days. At the pool, they also brought around ice cream or smoothies to keep guests refreshed. They did so pretty frequently. The pool was also never super busy, which was nice as we just came from another hotel where the pool was constantly packed. You do get a small view, but it's mostly blocked by other buildings. There's a decent gym that also was never super busy. It's on the same floor as the spa. We contemplated treatments, but ultimately never went.

Great location, very accessible to stores and the beach, and also secluded in a sense you're not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. We came as a family of three. Not only did they gave us a warm welcome, but they provided plenty of accommodations for our baby. A baby robe which was the cutest, but also a diaper genie baby bath tub and toiletries. We were so impressed! The room views were amazing and our room was upgraded which was a super plus! Breakfast was amazing! Our favorites were their mochi pancakes. They did have construction during our stay, but nothing to really get in our way. The service and accommodation were amazing! Thank you for our great stay Ka La'i! See you hopefully soon!
