We traveled to Green Bay last weekend to celebrate the marriage of our college friends. We chose to stay at the Astor House to make a mini vacation out of this trip as it was our first time ever without our 10-month-old son, as well as our first solo trip since our honeymoon two years ago. This was the best decision we could have made. We had such a lovely stay here. Tom and Linda were so friendly and welcoming. Tom showed us to our room upon arrival to make sure we knew where everything was, and he also provided us with local food recommendations (the taco pizza from Happy Joes was phenomenal). Linda makes the best breakfasts ever that we are still thinking about. We had breakfast delivered to our room the first morning, and we enjoyed breakfast on the patio the following morning. The house itself is stunning, and our room (Vienna Balconies) was clean, cozy, spacious, and inviting. The jacuzzi was wonderful, and we were even supplied with approved bath salts, along with delicious local chocolates. Such a perfect and romantic place! My husband and I stayed at the Astor House for a couple's weekend away while we visited Green Bay and went to the Packer game. We had the absolute best stay at the Astor House and both my husband and I said that we have never felt more welcome at any guest house or lodging than we did at the Astor House. Both Tom and Linda went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, tended to, and spoiled by their intentional hospitality. The breakfasts were 10/10 and we ended up talking about how delicious the food was all day long. We stayed in the Marseilles room which was beautifully decorated, stylish, very large space, and super comfortable king-sized bed. More than anything, Tom and Linda have a natural gift for making guests feel both comfortable and welcome, as if we were family staying in their home. We highly recommended staying at this BnB, and we will certainly be back again the next time we are in Green Bay! read more

Our stay here was superb! The owners, Linda and Tom, were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the London room and the bed and pillows were so comfortable, more so than any hotel and/or cruise I have visited in the past. The fireplace in the room worked very well, jealous that the one I have at home isn't as efficient. We enjoyed the tub and the bath salts provided. The breakfasts were plentiful and the best we've ever had. Linda provided me a vegan breakfast since I don't eat meat and that meal lasted me until dinner. It was so good!! Tom explained the history of the coffee that's provided because the coffee was very good as well. This is the first time staying at a B&B and it has set the bar of excellence for any future B&B visit elsewhere. read more

My wife and I made our 1st Trip to Green Bay in August 2022 and what great trip it was. Started out with a songwriters concert at the Green Bay Botanical Garden, tour of Lambeau Field and a drive thru Door County. We stayed at the wonderful Astor House. What a great experience at The Astor House. Tom and Linda were excellent hosts that made us feel right at home on an already amazing game day weekend in Green Bay. Upon arrival we were quickly greeted and brought into the warm hearth of the house. Tom explained all of the pertinent details to staying in the house and proceeded to give us an excellent list of local recommendations. I'm still upset we didn't try that Italian restaurant! (But we did love St Brendan's!) The room was spacious and comfortable. It even had a jacuzzi! Plenty of blankets to stay warm, too. Breakfast both days was an absolute revelation. Three courses and your very own carafe of coffee. Linda thoroughly enjoys her craft each day and it shows in each and every bite. We enjoyed dining in the parlor in the mornings, though if you don't want to socialize then you can have breakfast delivered to your room at the time of your choosing by the hosts. The only true B&B in Green Bay, is in a beautiful house with an interesting history. The proprietors are truly hospitable, preparing for their guests with welcoming touches and eager to meet any little asides for your comfort. They even tried some new plant based menu items to accommodate our needs! Our room was the Larado room and it was cozy, with a fireplace. I recommend booking directly with them. I used booking.com and there was a mix up, so my most important demand would have put us in another room with a tub. I liked the added touch of the journal in the room for guests to leave a comment. People from all over the world have stayed in that room! read more

This beautiful old historic home could have felt stuffy, but actually felt so welcoming with how Tom and Linda treat guests and make you feel welcome. The food was excellent and accented with home-grown herbs. The baked goods were outstanding. Good coffee and plenty of beverages were provided, for helping oneself. We appreciated the cleanliness of our room and comfort of the king bed, and slept very well, which sometimes we don't while traveling. We would return in a heartbeat! Tom and Linda have a beautiful bed and breakfast. As nice as the rooms are, the real surprise came in the breakfast and in their service. Our breakfast included quiche, berries with a local sourced honey glaze, a home made cinnamon roll and amazing and strong coffee! I loved staying here! Stayed with my husband in the Marseilles Garden room on. Nov.30, 2012 - Dec.3, 2012. We came all the way from California to watch the Packers vs Vikings game on 12/2/12. The Astor House location was close to everything. Lambeau Field is about 7 minutes away, and all restaurants, shops, and breweries are just as close, if not closer. The Astor House B&B itself was perfect. We stayed in the garden room. The room had a whirlpool to fit 2. It was perfect to relax in after each day of activities. :) The room was romantic. Everything was very clean. There is a furnace in the room and the restroom, along with a fireplace, so you will never get cold. Fresh towels & toiletries are supplied each day. At night, you choose the items you would like to eat the following morning from Barbara's menu. Each breakfast was delicious, and very filling. There are 5 rooms in the house, yet we never heard other guests or saw other guests the whole weekend, and all rooms were occupied. The room was spacious, and relaxing. It felt like home. Barbara was very helpful when we asked for advice on restaurants and things to do. I will definately stay here again. This was our first B&B and it was PERFECT! Thank you Astor House!!! The owner Barbara is amazing. That is first and foremost. The house is quaint, comfortable, and a great piece of local history. We will definitely be back again. The location is perfect for Green Bay games, or a short trip up to Door County and the peninsula. Barbara has tons of local information and knows all the great spots to visit. I would pick Astor House over a hotel any day. Fair rates and all the B&B amenities you expect. I would likely stay towards the back of the house on our next visit. The London room sits over the front road which has the occasional loud truck or motorcycle driving by early in the am, but do note this is nothing that would deter me from another stay even in the London Room. Overall an excellent experience. * Easy off-street parking for every guest in back of house a plus * Prepared breakfast (you can have in-room) a plus. Try Barbara's coffee cake. Very cute Vintage bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Hong Kong room. Adorable theme, bed was so comfy, slept great. The Jacuzzi tub was heavenly, fireplace so romantic. Everything was very clean. House was very close to everything in Green Bay. Worth the price for the experience. The breakfast was hand made and delivered to your door in an adorable picnic basket. Such a fun surprise! It was our wedding anniversary and they provided a small bottle of champagne, chocolates and bath salts for the tub all included. My GF and I went to Green Bay for the Cowboys/Packers game at Lambeau Field. She didnt want to stay in hotel and since we never stayed in a B & B she did a seacrch and found this place. It was the perfect choice. If you are in Green Bay area-do not stay in hotel! This place is quiet and comfy. Its close to all. The Innkeepers Greg and Barbara are great hosts and have lots on info on Green Bay area and other places. The breakfast options are simple but tastey. All in all, there are no bad points to this place. Perfect place. Perfect option for couples. If I ever go back to Green Bay, this is the only palce I will stay!! read more

We stayed here last weekend based on the stellar reviews from several different sites. We weren't disappointed. Our hosts Linda and Tom, were very very welcoming, and obviously had a passion for what they do. Our room (Marseilles) was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. My wife and I had a great time at the Astor House! The owner was very nice and even let us have a late check out. The breakfast was AWSOME! We herd a slight knock on the door when I opened it there was a basket by the door. We opened it and there was are breakfast! The only thing we didn't like was hard to control the heat. All in all we loved it and would go again read more

The Astor House was a great alternative to staying in a Hotel. Very nice rooms and close to the downtown restaurants like KoKos our favorite Sushi place. We stayed in the London Room which was great. Breakfast was very nice. We plan on visiting the Astor House again soon read more

Fabulous B&B in lovely old Green Bay neighborhood within walking distance of downtown and Fox River Trail. Delicious simple breakfast with farm fresh ingredients. Super comfortable rooms --must be able to use stairs. Innkeepers are really nice. Love the free wi-fi and whirlpool bath! read more
