We have a home protection plan through Old Republic with whom we have not had the best experiences in the past as far as the repair people they have sent out - but we feel like we hit the lottery with the service tech they sent out this time - Chuck of Turley Electric. Chuck answered the phone himself and explained what he thought our issue might be based on what I shared with him. He made the appointment to come out the next day, which was a Sunday, communicating with us when he was on his way and arriving at the time he said he would, which in and of itself was reason to be impressed. Chuck was friendly, knowledgable, and communicative - explaining everything he was doing and why. He patiently answered all of my many questions and encouraged me too understand what he was doing. It turned out that it wasn't just the faulty GFI outlet, but there was no power going to the outlet itself. Chuck took his time to check out every possible reason for the issue - never rushing, not complaining and determined to get to the root of the problem. I called Joe at around 8 AM and he had a cancellation so was able to make it out to us by 11 AM the same day. He came in, got to the devices, ran the tests and was out within 20 minutes. Super easy and really nice. We were able to pay via CC and he emailed the invoice and reports for both meters out within a day or two. Really glad I have Joe a call.
