Marquez Pro Electric are consummate professionals! One thing that is difficult to teach is diligence, or care about one's work. Alex (not the famous MotoGP racer) has an abundance of this. This is something that isn't always obvious, but the astute observer can see it and it's possible to glean this from reviews. One might say, it takes diligence to spot diligence. That said, Alex showed up on time and with an assistant to help with the installation of two very bright garage LEDs and a third RGB 'mood' LED near the bar table workbench area. This is getting nearer to my 'Tesla Showroom' look, but with my own twist on it. Since 2004 when we acquired our first humble home, I wanted to create a 'Dream Garage' and lighting has always been part of the plan. Some go vintage, others go themed, but I always wanted ultra modern. This hex lighting was a perfect addition, so needless to say I wanted it 'done right'. Alex and company were just the team for the job. I can't wait to enter some 'Dream Garage' contests in the future when everything is done, and Alex's work will be showcased prominently. Alex broke out the lasers for leveling and sighting an appropriate 'center' based on preferred location, and he showed me the candidate position of the first light before proceeding. I approved, and he made sure to align the hex assemblies to each other. I'm an artist by profession so I appreciated ALL of this effort immensely. In my job I do this every day so these details are important to me. We talked about options for dimming, but as it happens the lights I bought are not dimmable. Alex and team were very respectful of the property, and they even utilized the attic to create the CLEANEST installation possible. They were also fairly quick too, without sacrificing quality. They even removed an old and ugly transformer from the wall that wasn't needed and installed a cover plate. Alex and Team also removed an old storage rack I no longer wanted, which explains some of the unpainted areas that I will need to paint soon. When I do paint--guess what? I'm gonna have all kinds of light, lol. I kinda realized how dark of a garage I had once the first light went in, and I always wash the car inside the garage using Optimum No-Rinse so I need light for that, especially at night. The light temperature is a natural white or 5000 degrees Kelvin. What a difference! Overall, I'm extremely happy with the job done by Marquez Pro Electric and I'll be calling them for electric jobs in the future. Thanks again! :) read more
