This company quoted me $1.174 to run wire within my drywall for a Tesla wall outlet. They sent a technician, measured, ensure I had breaker space and scheduled an appointment. They showed up January 27 and told me it's an all day job and appeared upset about the amount of work involved. One of them, Cory Mann; told me this was a $2,000 job. He said he needed to call The office. So they called and the all in price was then revised to $3,000! I was shocked. They said they measured incorrectly and the price per foot of wire was $50 instead of $25, which was what I was quoted. I have the original quote within my email and in text messages with the office. This is a bait and switch operation. Unprofessional to say the least and unethical at worst. Please avoid this company and get quotes elsewhere. Update: the owner replied below and it looks like he is also a liar. If you take a look at the text messages I've posted below from their company, they quoted me $25 a foot full well knowing this was going to be going under the drywall. 499 for the outlet and then $25 a foot for wire under drywall x 40 feet would still be $1499 NOT $3,000. They doubled the price to $50 a foot only after arriving, even though they knew this would be wire buried under drywall. You can see the proof in the text messages. Again, this was a bait and switch. This was my singular best experience with an electrical company and team by far. I count myself lucky to not have too many electrical issues. We are first time home owners and we largely accepted the property "as is". It wasn't until living in it that we realized how many things needed to be changed--one of those things being our garage! The previous owner was a wonderful man and he was also a strongwilled DIY-guy. When it came to the garage, there were built in shelves that desperately needed to go. And there are extension cords being treated wall outlets on the ceilings. There were switches that didn't work and garage lighting was non-existent. This is my second time using ASL for electrical work, and once again I'm extremely satisfied with both the quality and professionalism of their team. We had a long-standing issue with our garbage disposal, which plugs into an outlet located behind pipes under the kitchen sink. The outlet was always "on," and there was no convenient way to switch it off. Our workaround--getting on our hands and knees to plug and unplug it daily--was inconvenient and definitely not ideal. Because the outlet was essentially inaccessible (see photo), rewiring it directly to a wall switch wasn't feasible. So we requested Cory again--he did great work for us back in April--and he came up with a clever solution. He tapped into an existing backsplash switch and ran a concealed wire to a new switch mounted discreetly under the cabinet. No need to touch the buried outlet at all! The ASL tech that came out did a good job installing the Tesla Wall Connector. Everything worked... the only downside is that he didn't adjust the amps, so the Wall Connector got very hot and I had to figure out how to do the Tesla Installer app and lower the amps so the Wall Connector didn't overheat. read more

I had an issue with a breaker constantly tripping so I gave a call and set up an appointment on the same day. Not only did Walter show up earlier than expected, he pretty much knew the issue immediately. My computer/internet was on an AFCI breaker circuit that was tripping on transient spikes and would knock out mission critical equipment. Spent $175 for the technician to have no clue how to address my concern of three plugs not working, make a change I asked about and instead of sharing the cost and what that would mean he made the change without my approval, and totally warp the light switch because he dint properly push back the electric components so it is bulging outward.
