Was super sick, getting over sickness that didn't allow me to eat for two days, and tonkotsu sounded like the only thing to fit the bill. I was right. I was able to get it down, and it was delicious. Because I was still leery, I saved over half of it and it was still delish the next day for lunch. I have had some pretty stellar tonkotsu in my life, so maybe a couple little critiques -- but this is a chain, and I am not a snob. Plenty of fixins and pork belly and bamboo shoots. If you want a solid ramen, this place works. Oh! And it could have been a tad spicier. I requested the spicy one, but I'll just ask for a bit more spice next time. read more

Super friendly service and a clean-ish environment. All the seating is directly next to the kitchen. However the stench of old toilet water/cleaning bucket could not be avoided. I ate my ramen fairly quick so I could stop smelling the junior high locker room stench. I ordered a shoyu ramen. The dish was comprised of watercress, 2 pieces of narutomaki, a soft boiled egg and 3 or 4 pieces of charsiu. The watercress was overcooked and limp but still passable. Same with the narutomaki. The charsiu pieces and soup were interesting to taste. Everything was cooked thoroughly but was bland at the same time. Then at the last second everything was attacked with salt. This was the same with the so-called shoyu broth except it was also beat with a ton of pepper or chili flakes. Couldn't tell. I wish the appetizers were more prominent on the menu. It's at the far end when you walk in so it's easily missed. A simple 5º tilt of all the menu screens would be helpful. For $16 I would not return for ramen. However, after I saw the remainder of the menu I could be convinced for a return trip. read more

Asuka Ramen is a good place for a quick Ramen and appetizers. The location is very clean and organized. The people working stay busy, but they will quickly take your order. I checked out the Aurora location to find out if they sold pork belly buns. As I found out only the downtown Denver location sells pork belly buns. I decided to get the Takoyaki, which was very tasty. I asked for extra bonito flakes on top of my Takoyaki. They came out super hot. The first bite burned my mouth. The next time I go to Asuka Ramen in Aurora, I would not mind trying their Ramen. The location that Asuka location in Aurora brought back a bit of nostalgia because it used to be a coffee shop, which was my first job in high school. It felt, very weird to be inside without having to go into work after 22 years. Once they put pork belly buns on the menu, I will be there on a regular basis. read more

*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW when I went I was told only the zangi ramen was gluten free out of the ramen options - so I got that with the yam noodles. It was quite bland at first, but with some GF soy sauce it was much better! I was going to order some boba milk tea, but was told it wasn't gluten free. they have gluten free sriracha and soy sauce available at the counter, I did not get sick. read more

I like the many boba variations but ramen menu wise it's pretty average. Not as authentic as it could be but I guess makes sense for the price. Fast serving though you have to clean up yourselves so tipping practice probably unnecessary. read more

Asuka Ramen has been a longtime favorite of ours, and we were excited to see a new restaurant closer to us in Aurora. The inside of the restaurant is cute, small dining area and they even have a little bar for you to sit at as well. The staff greeted us quickly and were patient with us while looking over the menu. Now onto the food, our go-to entree is the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It is spicy but not super intense, and has really great flavor. The Spring Rolls were nothing special but taste like your standard veggie spring roll. The Lychee Boba Juice was good as well. The DTC location has Pork Belly Buns and we were disappointed to see the new location does not have this on the menu. My favorite thing about this restaurant besides the ramen is how they prepare your to-go orders. They separate your broth and noodles so that your noodles do not get soggy. We cannot wait to go back and get more ramen, highly recommend this spot!! read more

Upon arrival, you have the menu way up on the screen to the right and you order at the counter. If you're dining in (which I did) the food is delivered to your table but you're not given any number or anything to identify that what's being delivered is delivered to the correct table. The workers in the back would ask the person working at the cash register who the dish belongs to and then it's served. This has honestly got to be the most blandest ramen I have ever tasted in my entire life. I'm not sure why but Colorado is very big on chicken broth and it definitely does not bring out the flavor and aroma of what ramen is supposed to taste like. I did not enjoy my meal at all. There was not even a hint of spiciness to it and all the ingredients, besides the chashu, were basically flavorless. I had to grab the soy sauce, salt, and the Japanese chili flakes and I basically drowned the bowl in those 3 to bring out the potential in the ramen bowl. Move aside Tokyo Joes! Please, try this place! This food tastes more fresh and less sugary sauce. The rice was also cooked to perfection. My only complaint would be inconsistent servings. It looked like I had much less rice compared to my companion. However, it tasted so amazing that i'll let that slide. The staff was so sweet and kind. They made sure we even knew where water cups were when we didn't purchase fountain drinks. The facility was clean and well taken care of. The food here was spectacular. We started with the spicy tuna nachos and I was very surprised with the flavor and taste of the nachos. I could have easily ate the whole plate of nachos by myself. The poke bowl looked awesome and my daughter told me that she loved it. My wife had the chicken ramen and I tasted it and the broth was fantastic. I personally had the spicy scallop ramen and I was in heaven. The ramen had enough spice so I could taste all the flavors. The ramen broth was so good I wanted to inject into my veins. Not to greasy but good enough t to drink like a good home cooked soup. This is a hidden gem in Aurora and I encourage all to give it a try. Doordash delivery was efficient and contained our full order. The pork gyoza was delicious. The broth for the ramen bowls really lacked depth and seasoning and the pork was pretty minimal (3 thin slices) for a $18 dish. We had to add a good deal of soy, sriracha, and some red curry paste (which we happened to have on hand) to make it taste like more than water. For a place that is ramen-based the broth really should be more flavorful. read more
