Had a lovely first visit to Honey Bee! The atmosphere is so relaxed and the staff is so friendly! My son especially enjoyed the food delivery car robot. Staff greeted everyone that came in so kindly. We ordered pork potstickers, beef ramen, mango smoothie with boba and sesame chicken. We enjoyed everything that we had. The potstickers were my least favorite as they seemed a bit undercooked but the flavors were delicious. I do wish that there were some sort of children's menu option so that we could try other things since the portions are family style. We enjoyed our visit overall and will definitely be back for more. read more

We dined here with 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The staff was very accommodating of the children. We started with appetizer combo and the tuna tini (think tuna & mango in large martini glass). The tuna was my favorite thing of the whole meal! So yummy. We then got several sushi rolls: Colorado, spider, craber and 2 S&M specials. It was way too much! Of course leftovers are always good. Such yummy sushi! We found this restaurant during restaurant week and just came back for a 2nd time. The sushi rolls are delicious, huge, and reasonably priced. We've had leftovers both trips. I love that it's kid friendly - our kiddos devour the udon noodle stir fry each visit (and 1 is picky so that's saying something). Definitely a great find for the neighborhood! read more

We get takeout here about once every two weeks. I recently discovered their spring rolls and peanut sauce. Really good!! They also have great chicken fried rice. Brian gets their spicier dishes and loves them. They have a delivery robot now which is pretty cool. They have Boba too Shout out to their sushi! The dine-in atmosphere is nice as well. I always really enjoy the food at Honey Bee. I have to say that the food was still very good this time as well, which is a major plus. We had sesame chicken, fried rice and several other items. However, the customer service needs to be greatly improved at times. I called multiple times to see if my order was available for pick up. Each time I called I was "transferred to the manager" and was hung up on. I called because last time I went my food was not ready even though the order online said it was complete. We ate at this place in 2015 and had the Chinese food. Wasn't a fan. We ordered Chinese food delivered in 2022 and it was better. Now we went for Denver Restaurant Week which featured their sushi menu and it was delicious. I didn't even know they had sushi until a few days before. We walked in and the place was pretty busy, which was to be expected for a Friday night and it was DRW. We were sat and our server came over and took our whole order at the same time. From drinks to appetizers to desserts. Then he disappeared. Our food came out in pieces and out of order, but it was all pretty good. I really liked the Colorado Roll and the hamachi chile. We finally saw our server again when he brought our sakes out after we had 3 plates of food in front of us. Then never saw him again. other than our missing server everything else was great. We are going to try their Chinese food again and see how that goes. But I would suggest this place for yummy sushi. read more

Came in at almost 2 pm on a Monday and it was not busy at all. The overall interior design of the restaurant was cute. There were 2 separate menus. One for Thai/Chinese food and another for Japanese/sushi items. I originally came here for a rice dish but upon seeing their Japanese menu I was curious to see if their sushi tasted good or not. Of course I didn't have great expectation but my curiosity got the best of me. I went with their lunch special 2 rolls for $15.95 that came with a complimentary miso soup. I chose shrimp tempura roll ($10) and a spicy salmon roll ($8.50) so that I could get my monies worth. I think miso is around $4 or $4.50 if you get that separately as well. I also added my favorite roll, spider roll, onto my order. Overall presentation of the rolls were spectacular. 9/10 for presentation. As for the taste of the rolls I would give it a 6.5-7/10. They were edible but they weren't great. I felt like the ingredients themselves weren't the freshest. Spicy salmon roll - The marinade they used was overly salty but the right amount of spice kick to it for me. Shrimp tempura roll - I felt like I was just eating the tempura batter since the shrimp used wasn't really juicy/thick so I couldn't really taste the meat of the shrimp at all. Spider roll - let's just say I've had my fair share of spider rolls and there was nothing impressive about this one. It definitely was not the worst roll I've had that's for sure Not sure how the Thai/Chinese food tastes but honestly I'm not eager to find out. If anything their green curry might taste good! Or maybe even the padsee ew. Those 2 items are pretty hard to mess up so if you like Thai food I would try those 2 items if you do decide to come here. I would not recommend the sushi though, that's where I messed up. Learned my lesson :) read more

As I have written before, Honey Bee is our after camping go-to! Place our order, unload the truck and the fur baby, by the time we are done, hot food is at our door! Tonight, it didn't show up (they are always so speedy in their deliveries) come to find out, it was delivered to the wrong address. A wonderful gentleman from Honey Bee contacted me after I contacted Grub Hub and asked about the problem.... Then sent me my order without hesitation! It was to my house in a super short time, hot and incredibly delicious! My guy got the Hunan beef and I had Panang Curry with chicken... I have a new favorite! It was so incredibly spicy (just the way I love it) with a hint of coconut at the end to cool everything off! Our soups were hot and loaded! With their super generous portions, we have several more meals to come! I cannot express my gratitude enough, from two really smelly, overtired campers!! Honey Bee saved the night! read more

Phone order for a War Wonton Soup at $13.95 The online menu shows it has roast pork. Roast pork was not in the soap. Also it does not come with a bag of noodles. What chinese restaurant does not include a bag of noodles for the soup? I will now be going to Cafe Ambrosia where the soup is 11.95 and you get pork and noodles. Bye Bye Honey Bee! UPDATE! After seeing my review, the owner has updated their menu to show no roasted pork in the soap. Ground pork in a wonton is not roasted pork. I usually never have any issues with my orders when I do online pick up orders but last night, I decided to go inside with my kids and put in a to go order. The lady that took my order was very confused and hesitant when putting my order in. We ordered 3 boba drinks, drunken noodles, and a chocolate lava cake. The boba drinks were decent, I order my drunken noodles extra spicy and they gave no spice what so ever, and they forgot to put the lava cake in our bag. It was not until we made it home around 9pm (we live 20 minutes away), that when we opened up our bag, that the lava cake was nowhere to be found. By that time, they were closed so I couldn't even call to let them know they missed an item from our order. If we do order again, maybe depending on who is there taking our to go order, double check they give you everything or just do an online order so there is no confusion. read more

Do not place an online or call-in order! Placed an online order a week ago for sashimi. When arrived to pick up order I was told half the order was out of stock. Since the order was placed online it was already paid for so they could not refund the missing items at the restaurant and was told to go through the online vendor. This takes days to get the refund so instead they gave me credit for the items to order at a later time. Fast forward one week and placed another order including the previously missing items. This time I called the phone number listed online to place the order. I even had them confirm the items I was ordered were available. When arrived, I was told once again that some items were not available! UNBELIEVABLE! They claim the phone number goes to a call center, but that doesn't matter because the order taker said he checked with the chef to confirm availability! In the end they applied the credit towards the remaining items and I walked out with half my order. I've been eating here for 3 years and it's a shame that their efforts to outsource orders is causing so much frustration. Their food is good so I would recommend dining in only. Since I take out only, I will likely never order again. read more

At first I was going to eat at a different Asian restaurant, but its turns out they were closed for the holiday weekend so my family and I stumbled upon Honey Bee. This asian bistro has a small and quiet atmosphere and looks to be very clean! We were just about the only group in there eating, so it doesn't seem to be very busy and you'll be able to get a table right away! The food was yummy and flavorful and you get a lot of it for the price! My mom even liked her pineapple rice dish better than our favorite Thai restaurant! We have always enjoyed the food at Honey Bee. However, we ordered food for take out this past Sunday 12/15/24. Our order included sesame chicken and cashew chicken. When we opened the cashew chicken, there was not a cashew to be found. They substituted peanuts for the cashews! Gross. It totally changed the flavor of the dish not to mention what if we had allergies to peanuts or something?!!! I picked out all the peanuts and thankfully we had some cashews I could mix into the dish. Also, just a heads up... they automatically include a tip on to-go orders. read more

I called to advise them and they disconnected me. I was like ok whatever, so called back... was basically hung up on six times before I could speak to the manager. He basically dismissed it and asked if I wanted it remade. No thanks not today after what happened. The rice was way overcooked, and after pulling a rather long hair out of my mouth I don't want, anymore. I know stuff happens as I work in the industry but the food went in the trash. I would have at least expected a refund for the two out of five dishes i ordered that had the hairs in them, but I guess that's not common practice for them. We tried eating here on a Tuesday night and the hours on the doors need to be updated, it was not open. We came back the following Friday night. It was our first time here. The food was hot and fresh we enjoyed a jalapeño and cheese wantons different than the usual crab and cheese and they weee yummy.
