When…read moreI picked up, they added Webroot security without prior discussion or approval from me and charged $39.99 for annual coverage, I did need security, but a discussion would have been in order first!! Little did I know that they overcharged me by $10.00-Webroot sells same service on line for $29.99 every single day. But most concerning, I WAS BLOCKED FROM ACCESS TO WEBROOT BY LCS -DevNull, they set themselves up as administrator and I HAD TO HAVE PERMISSION TO ACCESS TO THE SERVICE FOR WHICH I PAID. Each time I called to ask that I be added to access so I could run a scan whenever I wanted and to see what Webroot was isolating, the people at LCS-DevNull had an excuse as to why I could not access the service for which they had charged me. Also, discovered that they had set up my computer to allow them to access it anytime they wanted without my permission or knowledge. I had an issue in March and wanted to access Webroot so I called to have access allowed, more hemming and hawing and excuses. Josh Adams talked with me, I questioned why I was paying for a service I could not have access to nor control. He does not like to be questioned and is quite snarky in his demeanor with customers that don't kow tow to him. And just like the school yard bullies from grade school, he used his best used car salesman tactics and told me my problem had nothing to do with Webroot and danced all around why I could not have access, making the problem mine instead of his unethical business practice. If you are not doing something wrong, like charging me for a single user service but installing a much cheaper "business" service that allows for 5 users to be connected at a reduced price, then why not just give me access??? He does not like being called on the carpet for his shady dealings at all. In the most unprofessional manner I have ever heard, he would not allow access -said I did not need it. I told him give me access or refund the service and remove it, I will get it myself directly from Webroot. He said he would REFUND THE ENTIRE ANNUAL FEE AS SOON AS THE BOOKKEEPER CAME BACK and we would part ways. Gladly, I do not like bullies nor liars. I questioned when I could expect the check to be mailed, he said the bookkeeper would be back later in the day and that was on March 12th. I followed up with an email to support@lexingtoncomputersupport.com on the 19th of March confirming a full refund was promised. Went to their website yesterday and did a live chat, and guess who I was chatting with, you got it - Josh. Only problem was, Josh accepted my chat, but he never responded. Not good customer service nor is it any way to win customers and gain a good rating on line. Typically, if a check is mailed in Lexington 40503 going to 40503 it takes 1 to 2 business days. Further, I originally paid by credit card and you know they have that card number on file, so issuing credit would have been easier and quicker. Still nothing has been done. It has been 3 weeks, so what conclusion should I draw from the lack of refund being forthcoming by Lexington Computer Support-DevNull LLC?? I will never use ADT again. Going forward, any business that is this difficult to communicate with will forever be removed from my approved contractor list. Goodbye ADT. Cons- the administration was very deceiving in regards to the overhead "fees." When I called to set up the appointment, I asked if there would be any set fees, such as travel or diagnostic fees. I was only told about the $59 travel fee, and this would be the only fee other than the cost to make the repair. Unfortunately, this is not the case. At the time of my appointment, the electrician told me there was a $333 SET diagnostic fee. When I asked about this fee and why it wasn't disclosed to me, I was told that the administration is not allowed to tell clients about this fee, and that many clients would not make their appointments if they knew about the fee prior. In other words, they intentionally did not tell me about the fee so I would keep my appointment. I needed very minor repairs that took less than an hour, so if I would have known about the diagnostic fee of $300+ than I would not have waited a week for the appointment with this company, but I felt obligated as I did not want to wait any longer for another electrician. It was very DECEIVING for this company to lie and tell me that there were no other set fees other than the travel fee. I do not like when companies try to take advantage or deceive their customers; therefore, I do not recommend their services.

They kept it at the store for two days without working on it or trying to dry it out or clean it, by which time the logic board had corrosion damage. They also tried to turn it on without first cleaning it, which I am sure made the damage worse- laptops shut off automatically when they sense a spill and turning them back on is the worst thing you can do without cleaning and drying them first. Additionally, there was no information that hours of operation were cut because of the pandemic and so, they lost a star on customer service. After all was said and done, one of their employees was able to refer me to another business Happy the Glass Man to repair what I needed repaired. We couldn't even get them to listen to us in the beginning. I had to email several people to even get them to listen. Rudest person ever said just have your attorney call me. My daughter was out all of the fees associated with paying H&H to get a title exam, she was out another $250 for hiring an attorney who told us to pay the man, who wanted $500 to transfer the title, and lots of time. She was out over $1500 plus SHE had to clear her title!!!!!! H&H told us that the previous title co. should have found it but didn't. Maybe so but H&H should have found it too because it was their job; the title co. my daughter's buyers used found it. Pass the blame and keep the money is their game. I asked them to only reimburse her for the $500 she paid to the title holder, but they said the seller didn't inform them this was a mobile home, and they didn't agree to pay. Well, you should have since you didn't do your job! Your whole job was to make sure the title was passed correctly to each new owner. Your job was to: Title examination is a close examination of all public records that affect the title to the real estate you are purchasing. The search involves reviewing past deeds, wills, and trusts to make sure the title has passed correctly to each new owner. Had this company looked back one deed past the current sellers they would have known this was a mobile home but by their own admission they didn't know so they couldn't have looked at any other deeds. What can you do other than let them know through a review how they wronged you? They should have offered a refund instead of saying it's some other companies' fault from 30 years prior. They should've offered to make this right without my daughter having to be involved or me for that matter. They've already collected the money and we had to chase down the man with the title still in his name and get it changed. My daughter bought the home on 10/27/21 and decided to sell within just a few weeks. Imagine our surprise and frustration of having to clear the title to sell it. It sold on 1/31/22, with the title still not transferred to the new buyers but at least it's on its way and will be transferred to the new owners as soon as it arrives. It was a horrible experience because the man whose name was on the title dictated how and when everything was done and how much it would cost. He even required her to sign paperwork relieving him of his duties to the title. Her attorney drew up paperwork; don't think that H&H would help with that because they didn't. They paid the transfer fee and mediated until they didn't with the title holder. We did all of the leg work to get the title transferred. Our only other recourse was to sue which would have taken a lot of money and time. She wanted to sell and not wait for who knows how long. Don't trust this company with your title exam!!!! Run away and find someone who will do the work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
