The last two times I have visited this location I have had dismissive service. The first time I was inquiring about using an eSIM in Rwanda and received no help. They had no idea how to and obviously didn't care. When I asked if I should try this option I was told that I had answered my own question. Today I wanted to purchase a new iPhone, Non of the two I requested were available and I was told to visit an Apple Store or order one and wait. I switched from Verizon a few months ago and unfortunately ended up working with Mark. He was condescending from the start, getting visibly irritated anytime I asked for clarification. When I asked for an itemized breakdown of my plan, he got up without saying a word, walked away, and came back to place the paper aggressively in front of me. That was just one example--the entire 2+ hour interaction was uncomfortable and unnecessarily hostile. I've switched carriers before, and the first bill is never what they quote you in-store. So this time, I made sure to ask every question upfront. Apparently, that annoyed Mark, because he acted like I should already know the ins and outs of every AT&T plan before walking through the door. He also wouldn't give straight answers about insurance. He kept pushing AT&T's insurance, repeating that if I break the phone, I'll be stuck paying for it. I tried to confirm whether having AppleCare--cheaper in my case--would cause issues since the replacement device would have a different serial number from the financed one. I had to ask him four separate times before he finally answered my question. Even after I declined the insurance, it still ended up on my bill. And then came the first month's bill. The itemized quote Mark gave me was just under $250. My actual bill? Almost $700. I understand the first month is higher--Mark made that very clear--but this was nearly triple the quoted amount. This is my first time ever writing a negative review. I visited the AT&T store to upgrade my phone, and the customer service I received from an employee named Mark was unacceptable. From the moment he approached me, he was rude, unwelcoming, and unwilling to help. He said they didn't have any iPhones in stock and that he didn't know how to check availability at other stores. He suggested that I call around myself. When I asked simple questions, he responded with attitude, and eventually I decided to leave. As I walked out, I heard him talking about me, so I returned to ask for his name. He loudly and rudely said, "MARK." When I asked for the manager, he only gave me her name--Taylor--but said he didn't know her phone number or her office hours. He offered no way for me to contact her. When you find the right person in a store, you can get everything done. Ask for Amber in AT&T's Beltline store and she'll move mountains for you - with a gorgeous smile on her face the whole time. I had spent three days on online chats and mechanical voices on the phone, and finally found Amber at the store, who made things happen in minutes. I had an extremely complicated problem that involved international connections, and Amber did everything she could to get permissions, the right SIM cards, etc. and stayed with me until everything was working. I joined AT&T in Aug 2024 and it has been nothing short of a nightmare since - I went to the Addison TX store and the rep Chantel convinced me to enroll in the business plan since I have a business - the perks sounded great so I did - Not even a month or so later I get a call stating the bill was past due - I set up auto draft and she along with her manager Patrick told me the merging of Internet and phone would take up to three billing cycles. I pay the bill and move on and then I get a call from their billing stating my bill was past due - I go to the store and Patrick is there and there is a rep named Michael who said that my products could not be merged into a business so Michael the rep converted me to a standard plan - thinking all was well, last Monday I began getting calls from the collection team stating that my account was delinquent and I should not have service - Call the store, got Chantel and she said she had to call the business center and she would text me her number - text never came - a couple days later I call and got Patrick and he was dismissive and did not express any interest in a resolution but said Chantel was calling the business side. A couple days past and no response so I go into the store that Friday and Chantel sees me and after he customer she avoids me by going to the back - I asked for manager (Eric) who would not come out and I told the rep I needed Chantel - she comes out apologetic stating the day she was to text me she asked Patrick to contact me since she was pulled to a charity event, PASSING THE BUCK - I sent her the account number since it was late Friday and she said she would contact them on Saturday - she texted me stating she was on the phone and asked if I could take a call and I said yes but she never called - at 7:13 pm I texted her for updates and she ignored my text and never called me - days past and I go back to the store on Wed and Michael was there and he said he know she was working on it - he called her and told her I needed her to call me and she did not so he called the business team and go the account closed and now there is a over $51 credit there that will sit there and I do not receive it. The customer service provided by Chantel and Patrick is offensive and ridiculous - seems she was more focused on getting a sale and when she messed up she did not take ownership - my account was in collections which could negatively impact my credit and I want to be compensated for this blunder by Chantel and Patrick and the amount of times I had to go to that store to practically beg them correct her problem - AT&T this is not a good look read more

If you want to be lied to on every visit by salespeople and get extra hidden fees/services tacked on without your authorization, this is your store! Happened to us the first time we visited to set up service with ATT. Was told we got a free iPad because of how much we spent, no extra charges at all. Come to find out, you had to pay $40 a month for the iPad to have service and we were never told that. Decided to give the store a second chance to upgrade my husband's phone: surprise surprise! Additional services were added to our bill without asking or acknowledging, even when my husband confirmed the new amount multiple times. I decided to add fiber internet to my account and the rep entered the wrong email address. It wasn't even close to my actual email. Because the email is wrong I can't set up the my home app to monitor service, nor can I log in to see my bill. I went back and they were unable to resolve it so they directed me to customer service. I called customer service and they said they fixed it and to give it 48 hours. I waited a full week, it still wouldn't let me login. I went back to the store, they claimed it was fixed. I gave them my phone and asked them to log into the my home app. Of course they couldn't and so told me to call customer service again because they are incapable of solving the problem they caused. I have now spent nearly 4 hours on this problem. Quite frankly it would probably be faster, and cheaper, to just buy the bad domain they entered, add an email account to that, and fix it that way. I'll decide when I get off this second cust service call. Although I've been an AT&T wireless customer for over 20 years, this is by far the worst experience I've had and the blame falls 100% on this store. I don't know why they wouldn't confirm such a critical piece of information before saving it. Nor do I know why they are uninterested in even trying to resolve a mess they created. I shouldn't have been sent away twice. They should have escalated internally, calling whomever they needed to call, to fix this while I was in the store the first time. A complete disaster. The lack of respect for customers time is ridiculous. I knew the customer service over the phone was horrible, since no one know where they transfer your call, but even in person the staff of completely rude unapologetic and care more about chatting with each other that trying to help or even listen to what you need. After a love hate relationship for 6 years I decided to leave AT&T as a cellphone provider due to the lack of commitment to customer service. I decided to call them and have them release the number so I was able to port it to my new provider it took 3 transfer and 1 hour on the phone to get that accomplished or that is what I thought. AT&T did not release the number they deactivated the line so my new cellphone provider was in able to port the number. So My new cellphone provider did a conference call to be able to achieve the reactivated and release. We spent 2.5 hours being transferred from one department to another and after talking to nearly 10 people we were told the department was closed so we had to call the next day. I called the following morning talked to about 4 people for about 90 minutes and they last person told me was not able help me but his direct manager was going to take care of it and he was going to personally call me that day to confirm everything was done, but guess what...THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. So I called again that evening and waiting for another hour just to be transferred from department to department with the same excuse. We are sorry I don't work with that particular type of issues, but I will transfer you to someone who can help. After 2 hours my call was disconnected. I decided to go directly to the store on beltline and tollroad hopping they were able to help. Upon my arrival the door man in blue asked me what I needed to do I explained that I had attempted to port my number for 4 days but nothing was done. His response was call "customer care" in very short and demeaning tone. I told himI had tried that route but I had been 4 days and I had gotten no where and he just simply said. Call them no one in the store can help you. The beat he could do was lend me a phone since my cellphone was out of service for several days now, I did the entire process again. Stayed on the phone for an hour and nothing was done. Their response we are sorry your number was recycled. I guess this is no surprise. AT&T customer service is none existent, they only care to take your money and provide you with the most mediocre overpriced services. We have a business account, and were told on a call that we needed to go to an ATT store to verify our identity. When we got to the store, we were told they couldn't help us - it isn't their department. No one seemed to care that we needed help, and sent us to a phone to call the help line, rather than helping us. It was clear every employee in the store was looking for a commission customer, and he no interest in helping an existing client. Everyone seemed very annoyed by our presence. I went today to add money to my prepaid phone. Bobby (not sure if he was manager but he spoke with confidence and clarity) was the gentleman who helped me. We started talking and on Tuesday I will have uverse at&t cable with the internet installed. I'm so excited. I have been using the hotspot on my phone to power everything however once I leave the apartment my kids don't have internet or hulu anymore. His suggestion is going to be a life saver. The best part of all he showed me all the pricing in detail so I know what to expect. I told him I have heard stories about the weather effecting signal and he assured me there will be no satellite involved. My wife and I decided to purchase new iPhone 11s and thought that this AT&T store had the highest ratings. Don't worry AT&T let us down again. As we waited for over 30 min., there was a sales rep at the door standing idly, "Because we have to cover the door". Yet all other staff were busy and he had a client wanting to buy upgraded phones. Oddly two people walked in the door and he jumped up to help them buy their items. We asked if there were demo phones we could hold to see how they fit in our hands. The answer was a resounding "no". The phones were tethered so tightly you couldn't hold them in your hand. After waiting for 30 min., we finally had someone to help us. We asked if the charge on the iPhone 11 on display could be fixed so we could view the phone. The sales rep just said "I don't know how to fix that" and "you can just look at this iPhone X; it's just like the iPhone 11." If I had wanted an iPhone X I would have looked at that phone. The sales rep then started walking away. No words, no hand motions, just walked away. At that point I escorted my wife out of the store. Bad experience after the purchase. WILL NOT BE BACK. Went in to upgrade my android for an I-phone near the end of June. Was working with a rep named Jacoby, who was helpful, but then here comes the manager Diana B. She convinces me to upgrade my internet service and switch to autopay to get a considerable discount on my total bill. I initially declined because I have had bad experiences whenever I make a change with AT&T, but she convinced me, partially because she gave me her PERSONAL cell phone number and PROMISED me I could call her anytime and she would take care of any issues herself, so I wouldn't have to call AT&T. Well, that was a LIE. My first information statement only showed one of the discounts and my new phone was not the price promised. I called Diana B and got her voicemail. I called her OVER AND OVER and left multiple msgs. I texted as well. I got a response to my 1st text that she would call me the next day. Didn't happen. Kept calling and texting, finally went BACK to the store to return the phone. She was not there. I did speak to another manager named Gair, who explained the statement more clearly, resolved the issue and promised to talk to Diana B. Next day she texts me with more BS. Told her too little too late, and let her know how I felt. She could have avoided this with one return phone call! read more

I recently signed up for new AT&T service at this store. I traded in a phone that I was led to believe would get me full credit for a new phone, but that wasn't the case. After waiting for a couple billing cycles to catch up billings to normal, I realized I was only getting a partial credit and not full credit for new phone. Was an $800 phone and supposed to get full credit with trade-in on 30 monthly installments. What actually happened was I get $350 off and owe $450 over 30-months. I asked rep I worked with several times if I am getting the full credit considering it was an older phone I traded in, and was assured several times I was. Either the rep truly didn't know or was misleading me, which I think is later option as would only make sense if person entered the phone I traded in, would have been given the information if I get full credit or not. I am very displeased with the service I got setting up new service and feel lied to with getting a free phone. The AT&T service has fortunately been much improved over what I had, but the unexpected $15 / month extra over 30 payments is an unbudgeted cost and I would have not went with that promotion had I been provided the facts up front. read more

I walked in and the associate was awesome!!! Honestly was treated really well when I went in to get a new phone/new line for my gf. However, come to find out they added ATT's insurance plan and ATT next plan and didn't put her on the correct unlimited plan. After telling the rep explicitly what we wanted he disregarded and added things onto the account that we were not okay with after the fact. I only found out about these changes when it came time to view my wireless bill, and after my gf kept complaining about the "slow" service. I would've gone into the store to handle it, however, I didn't trust it would be handled properly if not done correctly the first time. Luckily Kareen with the customer service over the phone was able to resolve this issue, that shouldn't have been an issue to begin with. My advice is be upfront with your customers, don't make changes or add things to the account without them being aware. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

So this review is a long one and goes back a month ago and I still haven't gotten this fixed with Att. So I am a healthcare provider and I went into this store to sign up for the first net service after snowmaggedon and my co workers told me that it was a significant discount. So, I go in and deal with a little boy with first initial D. He is not welcoming...no one in the store is for that matter, and he's having to redo things several times, go ask questions repeatedly...but everyone has to learn. Well after 45 minutes he tells me that I will have to pay 30 extra per month because I purchased an Apple Watch separately...I ask him why didn't he tell me that before all this, and I should've asked more questions, no reply. I then tell him I want to go back to my initial service, take off first net...and here comes the headache. 2 hours later and him telling a lie as to why I wanted to terminate service, still no resolution. So since I wanted to terminate service once it had been established I had to wait 24 hours supposedly...well 24 hours has turned into a month. I have had too many conversations with first net representatives to count trying to get this fixed. Ugh!!!! I refused to come back to this store...I went to the store in Plano and it was almost as bad! The service and treatment I received at this store has made me look into another provider. It is ridiculous the level of unprofessionalism that was displayed by D and his team members. I have to email the district supervisor to place a complaint...if this is the correct email address.
