Upon entering the Truxtun Avenue store, I was approached by a tech called Geo. He was apprehensive at first to change my cell phone cover and protective screen saver. After I talked him into do that, he obliged and went about quietly but professionally to to just that. He did a fantastic job! But that's not all he did. I arrived at this ATT store and immediately got signed in. 4 employees working with 3 customers... I waited 1 hour to get service. I had an IPhone 7+ reloop logo issue. I wanted to get new iPhone as I have two on my acct but wanted to do iPhone equipment switch out with my wife phone that was not activated yet. They would not switch... wanted to get new iPhone 14 for wife and take her 13 already on the acct not activated. They wouldn't do the switch. read more

The worst internet ever. Tried to have me pay an activation fee to start a line after they said they would waive it. I had Verizon which I'm going to switch back to after I get my credit for switching to this horrible carrier. Anywhere I go even in a house with the best WiFi the phone won't load ANYTHING unless I keep turning on and off the WiFi. Mind you I pay every bill on time. I was told by a sales rep when he came to the house that insurance was the same deductibles were the same 100$, he never told me I'd have to pay 275$ for a replacement. I filed a claim and they said my claim was somehow "deleted" and then the supervisor went ahead and said "actually it wasn't completed". I went through every step to complete it even receiving and email saying someone would reach out. No one did until I called. I suggest people don't shop with AT&T. I showed up to buy an IPhone 13 pro max. Out of all the employees in the store, there seems to be only 1 employee selling phones. Was told it would be about 30 minutes, just to buy a phone, as there were 2 people ahead of me. After waiting 30 minutes inside the store, a female employee told me I had to wear a mask. I told her I was fine, no one had died in the store in the last 30 minutes. She insisted it was a law that people wear masks inside of the store and kicked me out of the store. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to buy phones. These idiots don't seem to want to sell them. But looking at their Yelp rating, it doesn't look like I'm the first to have a problem with this store. read more

When you sign up for new service make sure you have in writing how much you'll be paying. Because I got stuck paying $79 for a line I never used because the att person said I would be paying $140 for 2 lines and internet. This is probably why more people are going with t mobile. Definitely one of the better experiences I've had at an AT&T store. I was immediately greeted by someone at the door that asked me what the reason was for my visit. I briefly explained to her, and she put my name down on the waiting list. I'm happy I decided to go on a Sunday afternoon because it was relatively slow and I was next in line. Robby, a very knowledgeable young man, helped me with executing a couple transactions on my account. (Switching lines, adding new equipment to existing ones, etc) he also helped me understand my bill a little better and even figured out using manual calculations how much my new bill would be from here on out. He was willing to listen to all my concerns and answered all my questions in detail and even had some suggestions of his own. I'm making it a point to mention his knowledge of the products, services, and promotions because sometimes it seems like the staff are merely there to make the sale and not be so much informed on the products/services. All in all, this was a good experience and I would definitely recommend this store/employee. read more

My wife and I upgraded our phones to IPhone 12's. Sales experience was good. The following week I started noticing I was not getting real 5G service, even when I was in San Francisco. I checked my cellular data options and the only options listed were LTE and 4G. I went back to the store and the salesperson there swore to me that I had 5G, and disregarded what it said in the settings. Actually, he was quite condescending as well. Well, after a couple of calls to ATT technical my options are LTE, 5G Auto, and 5G. If you bought an IPhone 12 be sure to check your cellular settings to ensure you get what you are paying for. read more

Gone are the days of professional and courteous business interactions. Interesting this store actively reaches out to sell you services, but if you need help they are difficult to get help from. My experience came from Ruth (sales rep) who ordered the incorrect color phone and my attempts to get it swapped to the correct color. Negative-0 stars. My experience with AT&T. I recommend NOT going with AT&T for cellular service. Recently, I had a salesman come out to my house after getting ACP internet (low income Wi-Fi) . I bought a IPhone13 and a Samsung for my husband. He told me that I'd be paying about $7 more for the new service than what I was paying with MetroPCS, where I had both mine and my husbands phone service. After he left my husbands phone he had no cellular service and I was in love with my new iPhone13. We went down to this store where Kelly took my husbands phone and said my credit didn't approve his $250phone,,, and takes the phone and gives me a refund of $20 for taxes. I leave with only my new iPhone13 and get a bill for $390.00 because they want to charge me for the first billing cycle with his phone on there as an additional charge. A phone that he never got to use. So we take our concerns about the 1st bill and the unfairness of having to pay for a phone we didn't use or get to keep. They pushed their pencils and bobbed their head like they understood... nothing changed. We then went to a different ATT store and voiced our complaints as the $390 bill was approaching,,, and they acted as if something would be done. They shut my phone off,,, and a manager gave his word that if I would pay some of the bill they would finally drop the other unfair fees on the bill. So,, I paid the bill and after a week they shut my phone saying I owed $500-. I reached out to customer service by phone text. Got bounced around ,,, finally I told them., forget it. I'd go back to MetroPCS and buy a new phone outright and I'll take the loss on my credit. AT&T sucks, they lie straight to your face. It's a long wait in the store. They don't take complaints seriously. I will NEVER go with AT&T again. read more

If anyone is looking into switching to AT&T from another company....DON'T. Everytime I make the slightest change to my account they try and wiggle an extra fee or payment onto my bill like I won't notice. And then when I contact them they try and explain in circles why the charge happened and then they figure out that they made a mistake again... and then what do they do? "Oh, we noticed that this wasn't supposed to be charged on your account so we will go ahead and take the charge off" So not good enough. What if I didn't notice or what if I was naive. I'm positive there are people out there that aren't as adamant about this as I am. It should not just be a simple "we will take it off" it should be "we will take it off and credit your account for the continuous mistakes we keep making" I think it is time to start looking for a new company. Pretty frustrating when you have been with them for the past 15 or so years and you continue to try and give them the benefit of the doubt and then this happens again. Ugh so pissed. read more

The rep took 10 minutes in the back to get our phones and came back with a load of accessories to go with our phones we wanted to purchase. Left with out purchasing the phones. An employee took advantage of my mom and deleted 4 years of photos from her phone without backing it up! He "attempted" to back them up with an att service that didn't work and then told her the only other option is to email 200 photos to herself one by one. He should have given her more options like Google drive or suggesting "take your phone back home and put them on your computer" or "bring a flash drive back to the store and we can save them for you." Lazy employee just didn't want to spend his commission time with someone who actually needed assistance. Shame on you! She lost 200 photos of my brother's formative years and you didn't bat an eye or even make an effort to save them! read more

I used to frequent this location. Not anymore. I was lied to about the details of my accounts and I foolishly signed up for U-Verse. I spent several months trying to get things fixed either over the phone or in this store. My last (as in "most recent" AND as in "NEVER AGAIN!") visit to this store, the rude employee never looked up from his smart phone and yet he still told me lies about my account (I verified the veracity of his statements later that day, and he LIED). AT&T U-verse is bad news. STAY AWAY from them. I had that service for 3 months and 1 week. Every aspect of customer service was deplorable. The employees at the store and the employees at the call center all have different information and none of them matched what was printed on the bill. What seemed to be misunderstanding turned out to be straight forward dishonesty. Most recently, they were not going to refund my credit until I called to inquire when I could expect that refund (5 weeks after service was turned off). I was told that they have now STARTED the process of returning my money, which will take 2-3 weeks. I wish that I could give them a two-day notice to pay or get fined, as they had once done to me. read more

Then walked over to Sprint and got our phone bills both cut in half by switching over to Sprint and got brand new phones. We were paying $88/month at AT&T for her phone. So I come here to trade in my I phone 6s love the phone but had way too many issues where the battery would not hold its charge! Also several strange unexplained shutdowns so I felt it was time. Our sales lady was named Ruth. She was a nice girl pleasant personality seemed fairly young but it took 3 hours to go through the process to get a new phone! She had to go the back room several times to get things. Also I could not remember some of my passwords and after going to the back room I saw her go over and start talking to some other customer while she made my dad and I wait for her. She had absolutely no sense of urgency whatsoever and very little knowledge of I phones! My dad is 82 and has health issues and also no bathroom at all had to walk down to empire laser in the 106 degree heat to use their bathroom while this was going on! Then she started telling me that some of the newer phones don't have very good audio and so I asked her about another 6s. The problem was they would have to mail it to me not knowing anything about the condition of the phone or when I would receive it so that was difficult because I needed a phone now because I have important phone calls about upcoming surgery. So I basically just went with 12. I like the home button better on 6s and I like on 6s how it shows you battery percent but 12 is a decent phone to have for a while. Today my dad called me and told me that at and t charged too much for something on his debit card. He had paid for the accessories case cover and charging cord but he thinks he got overcharged! Also they didn't even bother to give us a receipt for our purchase! Should have went to apple but my dad hates the mall and we have a family plan so that's why we went to at and t. Extremely disappointed took way too long and I like my old phone better not to mention possibly being overcharged but we don't even have a receipt to check!
