Left a horrendous store in Center City to come to Cherry Hill store. Called ahead and spoke with Kenny who helped me when I got to the store. Compared to my Center City experience (negative stars), it was like night and day. Kenny was great. Got the product I wanted, explained it to me and helped set it up. Ran into a problem while trying to connect it to my plan and immediately and quickly got a manager involved and the issue was resolved. Did the upswell thing with Direct tv but, hey, that's his job. He didn't push and when I said no, he moved on. Overall a very positive experience. Arrived at the store at about 2:10 on a Friday afternoon and left, product in hand and useable, about an hour later. For someone who has been with AT&T sinve it was Cingular Wireless, the real customer service was appreciated. read more

I rarely leave reviews but this place really got my wheels to turn. I came here to get an upgrade on my phone and from the second i walked in i wanted to turn around . I was never greeted , never told if there was a wait list to be added to , nothing at all. The gentlemen who was sitting by the from very rudely said you can sit wherever or what and wait. I ended up giving it a few mins and finally just up and left. Will never step foot into that store again . Learn how to have customer service and be Polite when people are entering your place of business . i didn't want to give any stars but had to give at-least one. Ridiculous. read more

The store employee who serviced me, Tre, was very helpful. Stopped in 1/8/25 to have my iPhone 11 transferred to my new iPhone 16. Everything went smoothly and didn't take as long as expected. I was having some other issues with my iMessages and he took the time to troubleshoot and make sure everything was functional before leaving. We even enjoyed some basketball and other sports talk. Overall customer service from ATT, not only over the phone but in person, was disappointing. During THE YEAR OF THE PANDEMIC, it was imperative to start researching ways to save on expenses. I spent hours on the phone, trying to figure out a way over the phone to find a way to cut costs. My last phone call, the guy just told me he couldn't help me and to just go to a store with a final option. OK. Off I troop with my face mask to the nearest store. Aaaaand, all I got was basically the same runaround. The only other option for a lesser cost involved changing my phone number. Really? After 10 phone calls, this was the first time this was mentioned. I finally left. Very frustrated. read more

Hello, On December 22nd 2021. I unfortunately went to the AT&T wireless store at 712 Haddonfield Rd Cherry Hill Nj to purchase new phones. The sale associates name was Omar. Omar told me that because I was purchasing 4 phones, I was eligible to get 4 apple watches and all that I would have to pay is the taxes. I told Omar I didn't need 4 watches, so he suggested that I could replace 2 of the apple watches with an iPad. Omar also said the watches and iPad would cost around $10 for use. He said the total bill for everything: -The four phones monthly -the usage fee for the watches and iPad -The service for the four phones, Etc. , would cost me right around $230 per month, plus taxes and fees. After a few weeks I received my first bill and it was around $480. The cellular cost of the iPad and the 2 watches alone cost well over $100 and on my ATT app it still somehow shows that I have 4 apple watches. I contacted the manager of the cherry hill store l, Dan and told him I wanted to return the iPad and 2 watches but was told it was too late to return them. I then schedule an appointment to meet with Dan the manager on Jan 11th, after explaining to Dan what happen he told me would take care of everything and went in the back for about 20 to 30 minutes then came back out and told me you worked it all out. Dan told my bill would be right around the same $230 that Omar quoted me and additionally stated that I would save approximately $5 on each phone by enrolling in auto pay. Dan also told me that my trade in my iPhone 7 would save me $300 on the cost of my new phone. Which was another lie. Well it's 4 months later and my bill is still over $480. Finally I decided the only way I would get out of the ridiculously high bill was to just pay for the Apple watches and iPad in full which was over $1100 and cancel the cellular services for the watches and the iPad. After calling at&t customer service and a couple hours on the phone I was able to buy the watches and iPad. It gets better!!! Recently I signed up for Truebill, a service that shows me any subscriptions I may be paying for. Well to my surprise I have been paying $75 for directv since,....you got it, Dec 22 2021. After over an hour on the phone with directv I was able to cancel the service. My nightmare is now finally close to being over. read more

I had gone into this store to upgrade to an iPhone 14. The promotion was to trade in your old phone for $350 off on the iPhone 14. My sales rep, Flower, told me they were no longer running the promotion and instead I would get an Apple Watch in exchange for my iPhone. I said I didn't have a need for a watch, and she made it seem I was denying a free watch, so I accepted the trade in. On the receipt I noticed the watch was being charged and she assured me I would not be paying for the watch. We later received the bill and I was being charged in full for the watch with monthly payments. I found out the promotion for $350 was still valid at the time and there was no trade in promotion for an Apple Watch. I was able to have AT&T cancel the watch's line item and return the watch, but still needed to pay the initial fees along with a return fee of the watch. As usual with AT&T, everything was more complex than it needed to be. A multI billion dollar organization nickel and diming its customers for everything. I will not be retuning to AT&T Cherry Hill. read more

Ended up costing me extra money to pay a "restocking fee" and when asked for my traded in device from 2 weeks ago, I was told "it's gone to the factory." Pathetic. Walked in today to hand in my old iPhone after receiving my new iPhone 14 through the mail. There were literally 10 people waiting inside and one person working. I was told it would be at least a 45 minute wait to turn in a phone?! Crazy. I've never seen such a poor excuse for customer service. read more

Awful follow up by this store. Was given incorrect advice during a trade in. They had a tough time admitting to it. And what was worse, is I went in a total of 5x to speak with the manager. I only was able to speak to both assistant managers. Although they were nice, their follow up with me was bad. They advised that they passed on my issue to the store manager and that he would definitely reach out to me. 3 weeks and 5 visits later, I have still not heard from the store manager. Less than one star if I could. Super shady business practices. Wow. I came here to upgrade a phone and add a line. They were very nice, but extremely sneaky as they told me that AT&T provides you with the accessories that Apple does not -free of charge. That was a damn lie. They snuck the accessories (and an insurance plan we denied) on our bill in a 24-month installment plan. If you have to go to this location, BE AWARE of all charges before you leave. AT&T customer service over the phone rectified the situation. This location also refused to give me any contact information for anyone. Wow! All of the previous reviews were correct. I went in to upgrade my phone - they had what I wanted, the upgrade process was pretty straightforward, and the "back-end" stuff went smoothly. Their sales practices, however, were horrible. They must be incentivized to push AT&T TV (I guess this is the old DirectTV), since she added it to my account and insisted that this was the "package" I needed to get the discounts on my data lines. The package was a little less expensive that my previous plan, and this is a common practice in the cable world, so I figured it must be one of those "cheaper as a bundle" bundles. Well, I called AT&T in the evening because I couldn't get something to work, and she told me that I *don't* need to get the TV package (a cost of $80/month) and they also missed another discount that I was obviously eligible for. I could *perhaps* attribute this to a mistake, but taken together with the other reviews, it's obvious that this is their devious practice at this store. It's hard enough figuring out the optimal plan, but sneaky salespersons like this just reinforce why we all hate cable and cell companies. read more

Somehow I thought coming into this store would be easier and maybe even faster than actually going into the mall. NOT! Mistake #1 we came in looking for a friendly face to check-in with. Of course, you know, if we were just "browsing" they'd be following us around the store asking all sorts of questions. But no...all customer service reps "appear" to be taking care of other customers. I understand. I can wait. 10 minutes pass. 1 customer leaves. 2 customers leave. 10 more minutes pass. Us: "I'm sorry. Do we check-in somewhere?" Rep: *silence*...looks directly at us and walks away..... Really?! 5 minutes pass..... Ask another rep. Us: Ummm do we have to sign in or anything? Rep: uhhh we will be right with you. 15 MORE minutes pass... Us: *evil eye stare down toward a rep just walking around* Rep: uhhhhh have you or has anyone signed you in? Us: nooo...and we've asked multiple reps multiple times. He takes name. And disappears. In fact, 2 other reps just happened to be unavailable and off the floor. Wow! We still haven't been seen yet, hence my review. 30min+ 6 or more reps and maybe 3 customers. That is all..... read more

While not the absolute waste of air that the standalone store is across the street, this place isn't a whole lot better. On a recent Saturday a whole three people manned the store. The manager chatting sports with an older couple upgrading their phone (that's fine but can't you ring a sale while you are waiting?) another staff member who spent the ENTIRE time I was there texting and staring at the floor, and one person who was very helpful but a bit clueless. I'll take helpful and clueless as all I wanted was a case anyway, but sheesh, talk about making me want to buy online. read more

Simply awful experience here. Employees are not knowledgeable about their own services or products and were outwardly insulting to us. Not one of them was willing to use an ounce of brainpower to help resolve an issue. Finally, we had to call for a manager. He begrudgingly emerged from his cave in the back of the store, didn't say a word while we explained the situation, offered no help before retreating to the back. After a couple of hours of issues, we left and went across the street to the store in the mall where we were helped without an issue. read more
