The information was given concretely and we had figures on how our bill with our current carrier would change and how Xfinity would save us money and offer us features and benefits that we could not get with our current carriers plan. The amount of value that these two Appointments gave us is priceless. The experience was a positive one and very professional, and it's nice to be able to walk out with your questions answered and a price change in your hand and to know exactly how much money you are going to save. At the end of the Day, we Need to save money and not compromise the service and quality.

We waited around 15 minutes until an agent was able to accept the unit and provide me with a return receipt. I don't know what my final bill would look like or if there was a return fee. That wasn't explained. What I know is that I'm responsible for internet services at 4 different locations. One is run by Sparklight, the other Cox Communications, Comcast/Cablevision and finally Xfinity. As a comparison, Xfinity has the lowest internet speed with the highest cost per month. In fact, cost is 30% higher than the highest other provider and over 100% higher than the company I switched to. Fortunately the agent never tried to question or upsell me during my visit.

I contacted the owner and clearly explained BEFORE the service call that I had an older Apple Mac desktop and that, following changes to Microsoft 365, I could no longer use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook. Knowing that I had a Mac and knowing the nature of the problem, the owner scheduled a technician to come to my office at $110 per hour, plus a $49 service-call fee and travel expenses. The technician spent more than two hours attempting to fix the problem before admitting that he was not sufficiently familiar with Mac computers to resolve it. My computer then had to be taken back to their service center so that someone else could work on it. What I find particularly unacceptable is that the owner subsequently acknowledged to me that he should have sent a technician who specialized in Macs. That is exactly the issue. I disclosed from the beginning that this was a Mac. The company--not the customer--decided which technician to send. I do not believe a customer should be expected to pay for a technician who admittedly did not have the expertise required for the computer he was sent to service. An experienced Mac technician should also have been able to determine relatively quickly whether my older Mac and operating system were compatible with the current version of Microsoft 365. Instead, I incurred hours of charges without the original problem being resolved. Before writing this review, I contacted the owner directly and gave him an opportunity to resolve the matter. I asked that the service charges be refunded, less the cost of the wireless mouse I purchased and kept. He refused. What makes this especially disappointing is that I was a repeat customer. I would have continued using Marlton Computer Services in the future had the owner simply taken responsibility for sending a technician who was not qualified to handle the Mac issue. A good business relationship isn't defined by whether a mistake is ever made; it's defined by how the business responds when the mistake is brought to its attention. Businesses make mistakes. Good businesses acknowledge them, make things right, and preserve the customer's trust. In this situation, the owner acknowledged that a Mac-qualified technician should have been sent, yet still expected me to pay for the time spent by the technician who lacked that expertise. In my opinion, that is poor customer service and a very shortsighted way to treat a repeat customer. The company has now lost a customer who had used them several times in the past--not because a mistake was made, but because of the way the owner chose to handle that mistake. Based on my experience, I will not use Marlton Computer Services again and cannot recommend them to others.

It is the third-largest pay-TVcompany, the second-largest cable TV company by subscribers, and the largest home Internet service provider in the United States. As the owner of the international media company NBCUniversal since 2011, Comcast is also a high-volume producer of feature films for theatrical exhibition and television programming, and is a theme park operator. It is the world's third-largest telecommunications company by revenue. If I remember correctly when I lived in Florida there was a time when I had my cable television subscription from Comcast. All I remember is paying about $100 a month and receiving an enormous amount of networks including HBO, TMC, AMC, Fox and lots of local channels and music channels. I didn't even have internet back then and didn't own a computer! I really love NBCUniversal so they get three stars from me.

It seems they won't sell you a plan unless you're also an Internet or cable customer with them as well. So, basically the magic here is that they want you to dramatically overpay to the tune of +$100 for video or wifi to save twenty bucks on your phone. That's quintessential Xfinity math and why we love them so. Two very dubious stars.

Dear god have I spent a long time thinking about how to go about actually reviewing Comcast. And…read moreit's not just because I'm expecting them to shut off my house's service if I give them a totally bad review. But just in case I'm going to make sure that I don't touch the green wire while diffusing a time bomb (or was it supposed to be the orange one? McFuck!). So for starters let's try focusing on some of the good. The digital cable sure does hook up one sweet looking picture. In that regard I'm pretty sure that they're still doing it the best. the long list of movie, radio, and sports stations also provide some serious distractions (for better and worse). And hell, the On Demand option gives you the chance to catch up on random Animes during hour's where no one in their right frame of mind should be watching random Animes (Not that I ever suggested that I was in a right frame of mind - as this review may indicate.). Did I cut through that freaking wire yet? No? crud - lets go through some of that bad. Overall I pretty much liken Comcast to The Empire in Star Wars. right now when it comes to cable and Internet here they're pretty much the grandmasters. Verizon and -are their any other options?- are getting there, but they're not really much of a rebellion (I liken them to Jabba the Hutt and his crew - only not as fat and sluggish or as bad ass as Boba Fett!). So in the mean time they're pretty much at the top and in some ways they can do what they want. it's been documented that they've pretty much controlled the bandwidth they give out from time to time. There's also times where they'd probably rather offer Jedi mind tricks like giving more channels and phone lines instead of gaining a terminated member when you're dissatisfied. Maybe if I went for that blue wire - and still nothing! OK in the long run Comcast has pretty much been going strong since the 80's - therefore it's pretty much been around as long as I can remember. So it's made it's fair share of milestones and innovations - and the majority first happened around Philly. It also dishes out an uncanny amount of money to charities, fund raising, and year long entertainment event's. so it gives a significant amount of money that it makes back to other things. So love it, hate it, or just find it the best of whats out there currently, you can't deny that it has done some good. Now I have to watch some more Anime!
