I have a factory unlocked Moto one 5g. I brought my phone to at&t 5 months ago. 5g never worked LTE…read morespeed only. My SIM stopped connecting to towers in my area. Customer support sent me to this store where the SIM was changed to a new one. Cellular connection dropped after an hour and returned to previous state of not connecting to towers. Customer support had me hard reset my phone (which I knew wouldnt work). Now I'm starting my phone from scratch. I go to store today and I'm told my phone must be carrier locked, and its suggested i buy a new at&t phone. Give me a break. So, Im switching to Metro later today as I've never had a problem with cellular OR 5g connectivity on T-mobile towers. These are my only experiences with at&t and this store. Customer service sends me to the store who tells me its my fault. I have a degree in Network Administration, I am not an expert at all, however i have been developing android software for many years. Ive used every major carrier and have never been brushed off so bad and left with the same questions I came to answer. I don't think its ignorance I'm a prepaid customer so hope its that im not a profitable customer and isnt general apathy and laziness.

You call the 1-800 number and can barely understand a word they are saying except the dollar amount. So then you call the actual store you got your "free, no contract" phone and the young girl was very much over talking me, which I thought was very rude, and then she made perfect sense of her rudeness interrupting by saying come into the store, I have people sitting at my desk. I will definitely be getting rid of this service as soon as possible and will spread the word everywhere when I do! To say I'm disappointed is a HUGE understatement!
