Took two hours to upgrade two lines to new iPhone 17's and lots of promises were made. After logging into my Verizon account at home my next bill forecast was over $400 and I had four new mystery lines that weren't associated with my account showing on my bill. Took two calls to Verizon and two hours of my time to get this fixed. Ultimately the last person I spoke to at Verizon fixed my issues and actually lowered my next bill to just over $200. Also lowered my future bills by $27 from what I was paying before upgrading. In the future I'll just call Verizon from the comfort of my home and not get involved with people who don't know what they're doing. Nice enough guys but obviously incompetent. Avoid unless you like getting screwed.

I visited the Christiansburg, VA Old Navy store on November 22, 2022. I had a few online items…read morethat I needed to return. I came in around 10:00 am. The store was not busy as it was a Tuesday and the store had just opened for the day. Honestly, I chatted online with Old Navy customer service about their return policy. The rep I chatted with was not helpful and that is why I decided to try and get further help from someone in person. A few of my items were several months past the return date. Some of the items were a few weeks old. A few I had just received a few days prior. So I needed to see if I could get any money back, a store credit, or do I need to try and sell the goods to consignment. When I walked in there was a young lady (in a pink sweatshirt and black leggings with shoulder length hair) that was restocking the goodies around the registers. (I'm truly sorry I did not catch her name because she was very nice.) She was able to complete the returns for a couple of my purchases back to my original payment method. For the older things I needed to return, she said something along the lines of, 'Sorry I am unable to return these.' I asked, 'would I be able to get a store credit on any of them?' And with lightning speed she said, "I'll have to get a manager to do that." She then calls for the manager, Amanda. Amanda was super charismatic! I explained that I discussed all my returns with Customer Service and they were not helpful. Amanda empathized with my situation stating that she also has gotten stuck with items she was unable to return because the return window had already expired. She then went the extra mile and returned most of my remaining items back to the original payment. Considering this was just a few days before the holiday season would be in full swing, I needed every penny they were able to return. The kindness and wonderful customer service that these ladies showed me that day deserves a stellar review. After my chat with customer service I was about to give up on ever buying ANYTHING from Old Navy or their affiliates ever again. Now, I am so happy I decided to go into the store because I will gladly shop there again and recommend this store to friends and family. Thank you.

Traveling by car from Houston Texas to drop off my Son at VA Tech. Went to Officemax to get a desk…read morechair and found one he liked at a great discount. We were assisted by Joseph and he was extremely helpful. Cashier was helpful as well. When we got to our truck we realized we had a flat tire. We started the process of changing it in the summer heat when Joseph came out to see if we needed any help. To make a long story short not only did Joseph help us through the entire process but he also offered and let us use his personal jack and air compressor. What a great example of helping out complete strangers in a time of need! Joseph coming out to assist and also Officemax giving Joseph the time to help us. Thank you Joseph and OfficeMax!!!
