I was told by the sales person that if I bought an Apple Watch 9 series I'd get an SE free. I asked him if it applied to the 44mm size SE too and he said yes. I was never given any terms and conditions to read or check I agree with and when I saw the receipt it shows a charge for the bigger size. He never said anything and never was I given fine print to read. He also never took the watch out of the box or offered to set it up. He said I do it all at home. So he lied and didn't tell me anything or help me with set up at all. read more

Stopped in to check out the new iPhones as we were eligible for an upgrade and AT&T had an offer of a $200 "rebate" on a trade-in on an iPhone 4 which expires on 9/30/14. Our rep, George, was very knowledgeable and very customer-service oriented. We were told that there would be a 90 minute to two hour wait. The wait was the reason I did not give them five stars; although the wait ended being an hour long. My wife commented that the store had comfortable furniture and she did not mind the wait so much. Overall we had a great experience and plan to return in the future. BTW we did not buy a phone at the Apple Store because they offered only a $60 Apple gift card; which does not make much marketing sense to me given AT&T and Verizon's buy back offers of up to $300 on previously owned iPhones. read more

There's a rude Asian guy who is not helpful at all! If you're in customer service at least be nice. Went to the Apple store in the mall and upgraded my iPhone there, where I had a much better experience! Apple even gave me tips on ways to save money with this upgrade!! read more

Every time I come to this store I leave disappointed. Originally switching to AT&T was an ordeal, I was given incorrect information in the store and then trying to fix the issues with them went nowhere. I met with an Asian employee today who was rude and didn't listen to why I was there in the store. Then they tells me I have to pay almost $50 to exchange a watch I had just bought, unless I come back tomorrow to have a manger waive the fee. Wtf is the manger today?!? Don't waste your time coming to this store. Order online and have reps come to your home. MUCH better experience. read more

Deceiving sales tactics. They said I had to add a line to get the discount and I refused multiple times, but they kept pushing me saying the only way to get the savings was to add a line. When I got him, I called the National AT&T support line and learned that I didn't need to add a line. They also added insurance and AT&T next without my knowledge and I also had to have that removed by the corporate group. There were several other dishonest tactics. Will never use this store again and considering switching providers altogether as some of the tactics are corporate driven. Expect to be deceived if you go into this store and call corporate after you leave to see what was added without your permission. read more

Not impressed with the staff at all. I pride myself on being an educated consumer. Before showing up in the store I researched what my options were/prices/etc online. I came to the store with clear plans. As far as I am concerned the agent who was assigned to help me had a dream customer on his hands. I didn't waste his time, told him what model I wanted, had the money, easy peasy. As I get my phone I am told that there is a promotion for the Ipad that I can get at $100 that I am eligible for. Sounds like a fair deal, but of course there is no such thing as free lunch, so I ask the rep for details. He tells that all it costs is $10 a month. I asked to clarify if it is the price of device spread over period of time and it comes down to $10 a month or the is for service. He told me that it was the price of device. This sounded like a good deal to me. I told the guy that I would prefer to pay full price of the device and call it a day, and avoid the $10 fee. His reply to me was "OK." He went to charge me for everything, gave me my papers, and I thought that was it. Except it wasn't. When I reviewed my account I saw that the Ipad is charging $10 a month for service, and that actually obligates me to stay on a contact with AT&T. I was seriously ticked off to say the least. Back to the store we go where I am told that I am going to be slapped with $35 restocking fee. I advise the rep that I was never told anything about the restocking fee during the initial translation. His reply is that it must be on my papers. I show him my papers, and lo and behold, there is nothing about restocking fee! Good customer service would be to offer not to charge me a restocking fee at this point. But instead the rep proceeds to explain to me that one of the Iphones we have is going to keep us with AT&T for a long time, and $10 isn't that big of deal. I went on to tell him that the $10 is more than just that because he is skipping calculating in the taxes on each. Additionally this ties us back into a contract model. And lastly, when I ask you clear questions such as "Is is the device price or service price?" I expect to get clear answers, so I can make my decision about my purchase based on accurate facts. The guy was looking at me like I was an incompetent child who didn't understand what she was talking about. Again, no offer to take off the stocking fee. I asked for the manager's card, and will be contacting the office this week. Sneaky sale practices are not appreciated. It is one thing if I didn't ask for the details, but don't try to play me for a fool when I ask direct questions. Not impressed! read more

My husband and I were in the market to upgrade our iPhone 4S phones. We were in Columbia, MD and decided to stop by at the AT&T store at the mall in Columbia. This store always does a good job with greeting customers so I wasn't too worried about the reviews. Carlos helped us, and I have to say that we were very impressed with his ability to patiently explore every billing option, billing change, and iPhone 6 options. He really had a great way with customers, and we felt no pressure to conform to one option or another. I felt like we were getting all of the facts. We were not able to make a decision that night however we left with a very good impression of Carlos and decided that we would try to work with him when we had made a decision. Last night we visited the store again. Carlos not only remembered what we had talked about regarding phones, but even recalled other details about our previous visit's conversation. Carlos is so personable and good at his job that I highly recommend this AT&T location. Although this review centers on our experience with him I have had good experiences with every employee at the store in the past as well. Thank you! read more

Came to pick up my new iPhone. Woman in there was rude and seemed uninterested in helping me. My current iphone was damaged and the screen was plain black yet the phone was still technically "on" so I needed help syncing info from old phone into new phone and she honestly just acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. I didn't want help from her anymore due to this so I just left and googled it when I got home. Won't be back. The 1 star is for the store itself which was set up very nicely and clean. read more

I visited this store last evening as I'm overdue for a new phone. I arrived about 30 minutes before closing so I had resolved to getting questions answered as there probably wasn't going to be enough time to purchase a phone. There was no other customers in the store so I was happy that whoever helped me wouldn't feel rushed. A young lady named G*** came over and I told her I needed a replacement but wasn't sure what I wanted. She started out by showing me iphones and prices and I asked questions which she answered. After 10 minutes she looked at the time and said we're closing soon and that she would be wiping down phones if I had any other questions because I was checking out the phones. I asked more questions while she cleaned but couldn't that have waited until your long time AT&T customer was taken care of? I walked out feeling like I could have had a better experience online. She didn't even welcome me back for a sale. Poor customer service! read more

So as I stand here with my name on a list to MAKE A RETURN, I'm watching two employees do absolutely nothing, and discuss taking their lunch break. The man who greeted me and put my name on the list could have handled the return ten times over by now. This place is a joke. I went to the store to use and upgrade for the new iPhone. The salesman stated we would pay less on our monthly bill for and receive the new iPhone if I changed from our unlimited data program. I was misled, the bill is more and store will not remedy the "bait and switch". (The manager promised to call back in 24 hours and it has been 3 days) I have canceled my iPhone order but cannot cancel the contract. Look carefully at what you are told. read more

Only one working employee, at least on a Friday morning. Went in with my mother (in a wheelchair), one employee was helping another customer, three were sitting in the back talking. The three in the back totally ignored us (I took a picture of them - they ignored that too). The employee (Brenden) who was helping the other customer finished up in 5 minutes and then came to us. I asked what the three guys in the back do - he said their job is to watch him. Brenden was very eager to please and somewhat knowledgeable. I was in the store for about 45 minutes and the two frat brother types (one is Asian) never did anything but socialize. If Verizon was smart they would just hire Brenden and the store would shut down. read more
