Helpful employees make the wait OK but be prepared...the wait time for service can be quite lengthy.

Second worst Verizon store ever. First time, in a long time we came into buy a Mifi Modem. The…read moreoriginal manager, Christen Church was no longer there whom had the place running spot on excellent. Shayla was very helpful, except they were on back order for the modem so we ordered it on Amazon. She said come back & see her, it'd be an easy set up. Came back the next week. A salesman w/ mustache/beard & trainee Jaclyn were helping another customer for over 20m w/o saying one word to us like.. welcome to Verizon we will be w/ you shortly or this may take awhile if youd like to come back or schedule an appointment. Not one word. Jaclyn finally came over & says she's new. I asked if Shayla was there, she said she's no longer w/ the company. We left as we sat for over a half hour w/ no help or welcoming. Two weeks later, today we have the trainee Jaclyn while Amanda, seasoned employee was helping another customer. I understand & can give a trainee a break however Jaclyn didn't know or comprehend simple things such as how to long onto her account, Amanda said call Corporate, she calls the regular customer service line instead & when I asked her to plug our modem into the wall she said they dont have any outlets... Amanda came over to show her that yes indeed there's a power strip under her desk. On top of that, if you dont know an answer to a question so just say yes ask for assistance cause we almost left w/o the modem actually set up to the account. Then she asked for our pin number over 10 times! Write stuff down like our phone number instead of having us repeat it so everyone can get into our account. Simple things like that I cannot comprehend myself.

I've been here several times in the past couple years to inquire about phone and internet plans…read more Looking at new phones is always fun, too..... This is your typical AT&T store: bright and spacious with phone displays along the wall (iPhones, Androids, Windows phones, etc.) and a couple center displays with the latest tablets. There is no large television display area, but they do offer U-Verse (whatever the bundles are -- I haven't looked much into it). Employees are friendly and not too pushy, with the exception of a couple of them. You have to be clear and upfront about your intentions when you speak with them. One new development with their phones that I didn't know about until a few days ago: gone are the days when you can just put down $200 for a phone with a 2-year contract. Nope. Now you have to pay full price of the phone, no matter what. Not up front, of course, but in payments over twenty to thirty months with AT&T's NEXT program. Eeek! Unless you're able to shell out the full cost of a phone up front or you opt for one of the cheaper GO phones, you're stuck with a monthly payment for the phone itself in addition to the phone usage bill. Not cool. Along with that, you can upgrade your phone only after a certain amount of time, based on the payment plan you choose. Blah. On one hand, it's nice not to plunk down $200 off the bat for the phone, but it sucks that your bill is essentially higher each month because you're paying for the phone itself too. Let's face it..... phones are getting more expensive these days. Sigh. At least this store is here. No need to drive out to Lexington for assistance. I'm a fan of the store, I suppose. Just not the phone bills.

Our rep Alex was very knowledgeable and efficient- he made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I have seen some negative reviews of this store that are mostly old- I would not hesitate to come here, and this was a great experience for us.
