I chose this location to pick up my device after paying for online. This is by far the worst place to pick up a device. They make you wait 45 min when they need to do nothing but give you your device. I personally will never use this location again as I'm certain that another store can provide a better customer service experience. read more

To my surprise (based on the other reviews), the staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Was denied of service due to discrimination based on my disability and I placed a order online and it was canceled by store due to fraud reasons and AT&T didn't refund my $66 dollars back to my account and they couldn't verify my identity and I had my driver license and I explain to them the fraud dept didn't ask me any security questions and I told the store manager I was recently approved over the phone few days ago and the line was dropped she was rude and had a nasty attitude.... I went to this location to switch my service to FirstNet to lower my bill. I was told by Turner that there was a FREE watch promotion going on, and that I would ONLY have to pay the sales tax for the watch and monthly insurance if I chose to. I asked Turner multiple times if I had anything to worry about regarding extra fees/charges in reference to the watch. Turner assured me "no" each time. Turner brought up changing my number early in the conversation. He stated "Ima be real, if you change your number, I get paid." I wasn't interested nor did I come in the store for that but this revealed to me what his priority was. Once I agreed to get the watch he stated "We good, since you got the watch, I get paid." Turns out there were many extra charges and fees (one time and reoccurring) that if I were made aware of at the time of the sale, I would not have gotten the watch. I went back to the store today and was informed that my bill would be the same as before and possibly higher which defeated the entire purpose of my original visit. When I spoke to Turner directly today, his advice was "Just pay the watch off." I asked to speak to a manager and he said there was nothing anyone could do in an attempt to block my contact with the manager. After asserting my desire to speak to a manager multiple times, Turner finally got the manager. Lynell was nice, understanding, and super helpful. Andrew was as well. Thank you! It's clear Turner was more concerned with getting bonuses on his paycheck rather than giving honest, genuine, and good customer service. Turner, I'm super disappointed in your service and lack of transparency. What you did was wrong, plain and simple. Definitely wont be returning to this location. read more

AT&T internet is AWFUL. They initiated service calls to me. All 3 techs said my WiFi keeps crashing because of problems in the AT&T LINES. Then they charged me, in violation of their policy to NOT charge customers when the problem is in THEIR LINES. I called, and customer service said I'd be refunded. At the end of the billing cycle, they'd decided I wasn't ever getting the refund, and documentation of the service calls had been altered; suddenly, the record stated that I had initiated the service calls, and that the techs had reported that nothing was the matter! That was not the same information that was in the record the previous month! So, since they won't fix the problem in THEIR lines, my internet's going to keep crashing, and they are going to keep this dishonestly recording that it's my fault and there's nothing the matter in THEIR lines.They owe me $100, and until I get it, I am going to keep sharing how dishonest the company is. read more

I stopped by this location (DeSoto, TX) after work one night to exchange an iPhone case I had purchased for a different color. As I had my receipt and knew exactly what I wanted to buy, I doubt the transaction would have taken more than 5 minutes altogether. However, when I walked in the door, they wrote down my name on their sign-in sheet and even though I told them exactly what I had to do, they told me I would have to wait until my name was called in order. I can understand that in theory, but what ended up happening was that there were 3 or 4 people ahead of me and ALL of them had time-intensive questions/purchases (like upgrading their phone or starting a new line of service). I stood there for no less than 25 minutes waiting for someone to simply do my exchange. In the meantime, I tried to approach the employee signing people in to ask what my wait time would be, but she was talking with another customer who was waiting to be helped about WAL MART (nothing related to AT&T). I stood by her podium for 3 minutes while this tangential conversation ensued, and in the meantime, the employee did not even ACKNOWLEDGE me verbally (and I know she saw me because at one point she made eye contact after I calmly said "excuse me, please"), let alone ask me to hold on a second while she finished talking about which aisle the shampoo was located in at Wal Mart or (gasp!) tell me my wait time. After 25 minutes (during which time one employee had no customers and was just standing there...if she couldn't ring me out couldn't she at least acknowledge me and explain that?!), I replaced the new case on the rack and walked out, annoyed. I stopped at another AT&T in Grand Prairie, TX that same night and bought my case within 3 minutes of entering the store. I understand waiting lists and the necessity of keeping order, but use some common sense! If a customer just needs to make a quick accessory purchase, please don't make her wait behind 3 people who have much more time-intensive issues. That's a really good way to lose my business. But most of all, please do not IGNORE your customers or treat them rudely. I could have tolerated the wait if someone there would have acknowledged my existence for 20 seconds and explained why I could not be helped at that moment. read more

This store is unable to assist me for porting my phone number over to postpaid and the store rep was not that smart at all and told me I have to call customer service and they don't know what I'm talking about and said I need to re-visit the store again and I'm currently a prepaid customer and they also refused to grant me postpaid service with temporary number and told me I had to. I went in unsure about an upgrade and Kaleesha ensured that all of my questions were answered thoroughly and I ended up walking out with a new phone! If you ever attend this AT&T store location, ask for Kaleesha, she will definitely get you right! I am happy and satisfied with my purchase! Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I had to wait for a long time and when an employee "helped" me, she was horrible. She didn't help me choose a new phone, show me how to use it, and after she handed it to me She just got up and walked away. My husband came to upgrade his phone and I watched as another employee chewed gum and blew bubbles as a customer was speaking with her. Worst customer service skills I've ever witnessed. read more

ATT has become a HORRIBLE company! I can assure you I am stating fact. I have been a customer since 1998/99 and in the past few years their customer service and appreciation has greatly declined. If you are not currently a customer I urge you to check out other providers. If you are a current customer, beware! For the last few years EVERY time I upgraded or made changes they desperately tried to get me to change my data plan. I had 4 phones with unlimited data (grandfathered in) This last time I went in to change a number to a different phone ATT took it upon themselves to simply take my unlimited plan away from me. When I noticed what they had done I called to have them correct it. They REFUSE. I have spoken to multiple ATT people and even though they admit to reading the notes, reviewing my account and even going to the point of stating it "was a mistake" they say the CAN'T do anything about it or correct it. "CAN'T" IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE RESPONSE especially when I have paid between $200 and $400 a months throughout the past 16 years. Does that sound like a company you would want to do business with?
