The day we walked in, all we heard was stupid ass Fetty Wap type of crap blasting over the speakers with expletives galore. Anyway, I had walked in with the intention of purchasing a brand new phone at full price - no contract extension or renewal. Just straight up purchase a new phone. She seemed annoyed to be helping me the whole time, minimally answering any questions I had. She warns me about a restocking fee in case I return it. I say ok, that's fine, and go on my merry way. I check my phone bill a few weeks later...and I get charged for not one but TWO protection plans that I NEVER signed up for, nor did she EVER mention them to me. I also got charged an extra $15 setup fee that she did not warn me about either. I had to call ATT for them to tell me the $15 charge was standard for any new phone purchase, and they were also able to remove the charge and even apologized for that stupid ass employee's mistake. It seems stupidity and unprofessionalism runs rampant here, so take your business to another store. Don't help these idiots meet their quotas. The unthinkable happened when I was on my trip visiting family, my cell phone was stolen! To top it off, I'm from a different state so I was really stressed out and needed a new phone fast in my hand to communicate with my family. Of course I had to wait until morning so the store could open and every location I called did not have the phone I wanted in stock except for this store. I was hoping to walk in and out but no, the store was packed to my dismay. Overall I waited about an hour to finally be helped, that's the only reason I'm knocking down a star but the rep was more than helpful and quick, she was very polite and down do earth. My wife and I waited 45 minutes to see a salesperson. Their system of taking your name when you enter the store then waiting for a salesperson is not working, Especially when the store is busy and there are only four sales people in the store. We were sixth to be served and that took 45 minutes. There was "music" playing from a speaker system that was for sale and rap was blasting out of it. "Fuck" and "Pussy" are just two of the words that I heard in that store, from the in store "music" and there were of course women and children in there. Each time one of those words rang through the store, not one salesperson reacted or did anything about it. The girl who greeted the customers as they entered the store seemed really bothered to be doing that job and did so without a pleasant greeting or a smile. To upgrade my wife's phone we had to pay the balance of our bill, which is on an auto pay program, meaning that the funds would automatically come from our account in three more days. I asked if I pay this now, will the funds still be removed from my account in three days. They salespersons response was, yes. So I will be paying the balance twice, I asked? I brought in my (iPhone 6) that I had received in the mail, I needed them to disconnect my current one (iPhone 4s) and put service on the new one. Bladimir helped me out and Brandon was assisting him , they were extremely helpful and answered all my questions. I also asked them if AT&T would purchase back my old phone that I didn't want anymore and they mentioned the promotion they were having with Direct TV Network, If you currently have Direct TV then AT&T will take your old phone and give you store credit. Luckily I have that network so with my IPhone 4s I was able to get $200 in store credit ! I was very pleased with the 4 accessories I received ( Car Charger, Screen Protector , Phone Case, House Charger ) only had to pay taxes which was $16 total for everything ,Thanks Guys! read more

Went in to pay my dad's phone bill. First of all, ever since I had a horrible upgrade experience where the sales lady forgot to include unlimited texting (resulting in over $700 worth of texting overages) I swore to never step foot in this AT&T. The dumbass completely ignored me when my dad and I walked in to see if the charges could be waived or credited. She even has the audacity to say "sorry I don't remember you, call customer service". Obviously we demanded the manager which was somewhat helpful (dialing customer service and then giving us the phone so he could help a customer who wanted to buy). Basically horrendous customer service and loyalty. That was 2 years ago. So I went in recently to just pay a bill. I usually go to the AT&T in Carson. Long drive but they are so nice and have helped me soooooo much, I now get a 26% fan discount because they informed me that my job offered it. (150 e sepulveda blvd, Carson ca) Anyways, I decide to give them another shot thinking the customer service was improved. WRONG! No hello, no how can we help you, nothing. I was in and out and none of the 7 employees acknowledged me. In Carson store everyone says hi and knows my name, they even go around the counter to hand me my bill and walk me all the way to the door. Don't come here. Salesperson put me on contract that ended up being $32-$44 more monthly. The bill every month is very different from what I owe. There are changes made after billing cycle. Also was told contract was 24months. It is truthfully 30 months. I sense that most of the employees are not well trained. Employees are decent people I think AT&T is not training them correctly. The employees can never answer questions correctly. They just confuse me. I despise this company now. Please don't give this company your business. If you care about your personal finances you will be disappointed. They are deceitful. Please don't learn the hard way like I have. I had a really great experience here! I needed to have the sim cards swapped in our two phones, as one phone's screen was starting to peel away (pregnant battery apparently!) and explore our options for getting a new phone. Because my wife and I are always together and don't use our phone for much aside from calls, spotify and maps, I was a little unsure we needed a new phone. We ended up sticking with what we had, but I really appreciated that the gentleman helping us (I wish I had gotten his name!) took the time to help us quickly and spoke to us on the level. If I could give this store 0 stars I certainly would. Last Sunday September 27th I visited this store to do an upgrade of one of the lines I have. A young lady by the name of Emily assisted me. I decided to go for the iPhone 11 Pro Max, I was I informed that I would need to pay taxes on this phone and I would then be able to do monthly payments moving forward I handed Emily my debit card the transaction went through she then proceeded to tell me that there was no phone available for me at the store and she would schedule an AT&T driver to go out and deliver my phone to my job the next day between 4 and 6 pm. So far all seemed reasonable, I waited for my phone to be delivered as promised, at 6:20 pm I proceeded to call Emily at the AT&T store to let her know that I had not received my phone as promised she then said that unfortunately that was out of her league being that this was a third-party company and she had no way to assist me and that I would need to contact them myself (for clarification this is a company en Joy who were supposed to deliver my phone ) I attempted to contact them via text and the link was not working I called Emily again and I explained to her that I had called en joy two times and the call dropped, the link was not working either she said I would need to call them myself and schedule another delivery appointment but there was nothing that she could do of course I was frustrated for I was never informed that they were a third party company, I did inform her that I would rather just cancel my service of this phone delivery at this point she did say that if I wanted to do a cancellation I would have to climb an even higher ladder before this process could take place ( I should've stopped her right there and gone and put a formal complaint to the store ) read more

I decided to switch to AT&T because I wasn't happy with my pervious carrier. I ordered my phones online and went to this store to complete my purchase. The associate was very helpful and friendly but he told me they would have to cancel my online order and start a new order because I decided to change phones. I was told the activation fee was waived because my employer offered a corporate discount. I even purchased 3 accessories. Today I realized I was being billed for 2 accounts. I spent over an hour on phone trying to straighten out this mess. I never had my activation fee waived and when I tried to return one of the accessories I bought I was told they would not return it. I have never been more disrespected in my life by an individual that is being paid to serve me. Call me greedy but a little courtesy from Carine (their sales rep) would have made my experience so much comforting. I am appalled by how dumbfounded she was that I did not know the rules to the store. Side note: I just recently converted to the iphone 4s and my first bill payment was today. I didn't know what to do with my 153 dollar bill so I went to their kiosk to try and pay my bill without any help. So the process was a snap. I put in $200 and it ejected a receipt and a reminder to sign out. Great?! I paid $200 for my bill... WAIT, it was only $153 dollars! So I am now lost, so I slowly retreat to the front desk and Carine came. She said, "Are you having any trouble sir?" So I respond with: yes, I would like my change from the kiosk for my bill. Carine: The machine doesn't give change. It says it before you start operating it. Let me know when you are having actual trouble. On she goes to help another guest. I recently came across a certain individual named Michael that works at this location. Michael is very knowledgeable when it comes to the newest mobile phones and devices. Let me tell you, I have been to many att stores and have never had the pleasure of meeting such an interesting, and smart associate. Michael took his time in explaining new plans, and even att history. He told me that the activation fees charged for activations and upgrades are reinvested into the companies network. . AT&T is the worst company that you can ever switch. Switched from T-Mobile and is the biggest mistake . They lure you in with this one offer and then they don't comply with it at all. They said that they will send a Visa card for the last bill on your prior carrier and then they don't send nothing. You call to claim and see what's going on and they transfer you like 5 times from department to department until they put you in hold and after a few minutes they hang up on you. That's not mentioning how bad is the service, over charges and customer service. Everything is bad on this company. So I can only wait to pay off my bills so it won't hurt my credit and then walk away from AT&T. Don't ever use this carrier if you can avoid using it!!! read more

Switched from Verizon to AT&T yesterday and I couldn't be happier from the switch. When I walked in I was quickly greeted and signed up and shortly after I was helped. I got my iPhone 7+ activated, my number transferred over and even got a great deal from DIRECTV. Rogelio A. was the associate that helped me out and let me tell you this guy knows his stuff, he went above and beyond my expectations. Every question I had about either the phone or DIRECTV he had an answer. Very slow service. Our sales associate Tatiana wasn't very friendly and on three separate occasions went to the back and kept us waiting 10 minutes or more. Just to get new phones on an existing plan we were there just short of 2 hours and that was with no assistance with the features on the new phones. I don't recommend using this store but if you do, ask for someone other than Tatiana and maybe you'll do better although the wait time to see someone will probably be long anyways. read more
