Stay away from all things AT&T. I changed over to mint mobile and paid $189 a YEAR for unlimited talk, text, data and have BETTER service. I got a screen protector here with a "lifetime warranty" and they no longer provide this service in store. The rep was trying to help and said to use the app. I tried this and got the error below. I called ATT customer service and was told they don't handle this and I need to download another app with another company because they outsourced this. I'm fed up with this entire company. read more

So my husband and I went into the is location to purchase a new phone and add it to our plan. The employee was friendly and helpful. We purchased the phone and added it to our plan. We have several phones on our plan and I'm very familiar with the process. I specifically requested NO insurance and NO upgrade charges. Together those charges are $20 per month. I don't have those charges on any of my phone lines. Now, today I'm working on my budget for 2024 and reviewing all my expenses and the cellphone bill is not adding up. Sure enough the $20 was on the bill for the last 5 months. Shame on me for not noticing but I am getting my money back. So I just spent an hour on the phone to AT&T. I ended up getting my money back, $100. In addition, I paid off one of the phones and after doing the calculations, it cost them $84.78 in interest if we had just kept the monthly installments. My warning to anyone dealing with this location is to ensure what they say they are giving you is what is actually on your bill. Do not trust the unicorn and rainbows they throw at you. read more

I went in to pick up my new iPhone on Christmas Eve. The girl helping me was impatient because it was close to closing (I'd come earlier in the day and for some reason was told to come back a bit later). She asked to end my data transfer while 1% of the transfer still remained, playing it off like it wasn't a big deal and wouldn't cause any problems. I stupidly let her because I felt bad for her. My iTunes library is messed up now. Don't complain that you're hungry and use shortcuts that cheat customers out of the service they're paying for. That was poor service. read more

Our family buys the best phones, iPhones of course, so I never have issues with the technology over the 10 years Ive shopped at ATT. But the quality of the staff at your stores is steadily declining. We had a young guy help us this last time with a new phone and he did an ok job setting everything up but he was arrogant and hostile. He never explained what the phone can do thats new or any features. Im a software engineer so not a dummy when it comes to technology. So I asked him a few questions to see if he had some new info on the phone and he pretty much looked at me like I was an idiot and fudged a few answers. He didnt bother to check if the phone needed new OS updates so it tried to shut down in the middle of a transfer. I was logging in my apple id but he angrily asked if I canceled it accusing me of something I didnt do. As the phone transfer began he then disappeared in the back while my family managed the data transfer and set up the phone without him! Its very easy to engage a customer and give then vital tech information or offer suggestions but these kids act like you're an idiot. And if you ask something they dont know they pretend you are the moron for asking it. Thats very childish and very poor retail interaction. This is not an ATT tech training problem its an attitude issue. These kids look at your age, race, skin color, or demographic and if they dont like you they decide they will try and flush you out of their stores as fast as posdible now with miminal interaction if they can. I saw an older woman walk in and they just blew her off because she was not like them and she left really stressed out. When my family left this store after buying the most expensive phone you have, all 3 of your ATT employees were sitting in chairs looking at their phones. I said "thank you guys" and they just ignored us and blew us off as if we didnt exist. It felt racist, Im sorry to say. That was the impression and feeling I got. Absolutely horrible location! We began the process of coming over to AT&T but stopped the process after thinking about it. They started a port in process and billed us for equipment that we don't have. My husband went to the store last week to cancel the port in due to missing business calls, but they told him they needed time to fix the issue. My husband returned today due to not being able to port out our numbers and they called the police on him because he wanted the situation resolved. We are now going to be filing a lawsuit on this location for this issue. Absolutely terrible! read more

DO NOT GET SCAMMED INTO THE AT&T insurance for $8/mth they sold me on the fact it was better than Apple care of course they don't tell you that after only 60 days if you crack your phone it costs a $250 deductible to fix it? Why would I need insurance then if I can get it fixed outside for that amount? I totally regret not purchasing the apple care for $199 bc my deductible would have only been $29! Don't let them scam you, there insurance is CRAP! It's a complete AT&T money grab and they get commission on this and that's why they scam you into this! In September I came to pick up a phone at this store I purchased online. They gave me the wrong phone. Now 6 months later they have reported the phone (I am still paying for), as stolen. I have now been 10 days without a working phone. I have called this store 15+ times and no one has answers. I drove over an hour to the store on 2/9/23 and was told only a manager could help me. I was told Cliff Butler, the district manager, was going to call me on 2/10/23 at 9 am. I still have not heard from him. I have provided receipts and proof of purchase but everyone from corporate that I have spoken to says this store is the only one who can help me. My attorney is currently working on a lawsuit personally naming Mr. butler, as well as the store. I would not recommend anyone going to this store read more

Generally, I do not write reviews. However, my experience at AT&T has been beyond horrible. I recently moved into my new apartment and scheduled a technician to come out to setup my internet. I waited between the scheduled time of 2PM-4PM and never received a call, text, or email. When I called the AT&T store around 3:30PM (ish), I was told that if the technician did not arrive at 4:00PM or 4:15PM to give them a call back. After waiting, I called back and requested to speak to the manager. After getting the manager on the line, I was informed that there was a "system glitch" and the service cancel my appointment. Never in my life have I been upset. When I ask what I could do to get someone out to my apartment that day to install it, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional $100 dollars upfront to schedule my next appointment. I was livid. My question to him, after the use of colorful language, was: "Why am I being charged for something your system did?" His response was, and I quote, "I don't know". You are the manager and you don't know. I then went up to the store location to talk to the manager initial, but he left for the day. So I talked to a nice team member get a better understanding of what happened and then was told the next appointment would be Monday at noon. Mind you this was after I waited to speak to a multitude of customer service reps who told me different versions of the story. Story A.) The person who lived in the apartment before me did not cancel their internet (I'm still trying to figure out what that has to do with me) and Story B.) The Technician canceled the appointment. (They canceled the appointment without letting the customer know? make it make sense). When I asked why, no one had an answer as to why they canceled, why the Technician would cancel or why I had to wait from my initial appoint Saturday to now Monday (2 1/2 days without internet). I wanted clarification, but instead I was given the run around and told various things. Unfortunately, I can not use a different internet service as the apartment only takes this one. There was no ownership of what happened, no apologies, and no fix. Currently I am having to use a hotspot to use the internet and have no other option than to wait until Monday. read more

Customer Complaint concerning: AT&T 2721 Tx-121 Euless, Tx 76039 October 11, 2021 On September 24th of 2021, I went to this AT&T store to change my service from T-Mobile to AT&T. The district manager is the person that assisted me. I received the new iPhone 13 with a trade in of my current iPhone. Then I received a Samsung A12 for my second line. After 2 hours of assisting me, I was good to go. At the time of the purchase, my husband was out of town due to a funeral. When he got back in town and went to work at Midnight on October 4th, his phone was not working. I had to take him my phone at 1:30 A.M. because he had to have a phone for work. I went to the AT&T store mid-morning on October 4th to fix the problem. A very pretty young Black lady assisted me. I told her that instead of using the A12 for my husband that I wanted to buy a better phone. She informed me they did not sell phones at that store. I asked" even if I want to add it to my account?" She stated she needed to go open the safe in the back room. She left her keys to the store and store scanner on the table with me and stayed in the back room for the whole 5 minutes it took the safe to open. When she came back, I asked her if she was just waiting in that room until the safe opened and she replied yes. I told her I thought that was rude to just leave me sitting there like that. She replied she was sorry, but she did not feel like she was rude. I told her that I thought it was. She stepped back and said she did not like the way I was talking to her. I did not say anything derogatory to her. While she was gone, I had picked up her keys and scanner because I did not think it was safe to just leave them laying on the table like that. At that time, a young man came over and said he was the manager. He told me he had been talking to her while she was back there. He told me I was talking so loud he could hear me in the back of the store. She said I apologized, and he replied that he heard her. When someone says but with an apology, I do not feel it is an apology. I showed him the keys and the scanner, and he yelled give them to me. I told him no because I wanted to tell him it was not safe for her to leave them on a table unattended. However, I could not say anything because he started saying "I wouldn't touch your purse" over and over and would not let me speak. If I even moved my mouth to try to talk, he would start saying it again over and over. Then he told me to leave, or he was going to call the police. He also told me that if I came back in the store that he was going to press criminal trespass against me. I tried to leave my old iPhone for the trade-in, and he said no it's your property, take it with you. I would never leave my purse at a table with a stranger unattended while I went into a back room for 5 minutes. I seen what looked like a sim card and a piece of plastic laying on the table but thought they belonged to them. I turned around at the door and told them it's a good thing I'm not a thief. Then I headed to my truck. I heard him saying something, but I did not turn around. I was afraid it was a trick so he could call the police on me as soon as I stepped back into the store. He had also told me I just needed to go to the Grapevine store. I feared that he would call them and tell them I caused trouble at his store, so I did not go there. After I left, I was trying to think if I was talking to loud and then it dawned on me, I had just spent the last 2 weeks with my legally deaf mother-in-law and have to yell to talk to her. I called the AT&T Customer sales and purchased a phone, When the phone came in, it did not have any service, so I called AT&T to turn the phone on, find information on sending in my old iPhone and decided to add a line for the A12 phone for a Grandson. They sent me sim card overnight when I explained that I was not allowed in that store. When the sim card came in, I realized I could not put it into the phone because I didn't have the sim tray for the phone. I called customer service again and was informed that I had to get it back from that store because it is a franchise and not a corporate store. All I knew when I went there for service is that on the outside of the building in big bold letters it says AT&T. So, on October 9th, I called the store and talked to a young lady. I told her who I was and that I needed the sim tray for the a12 phone. She replied they no longer had it. When I asked where it was, she replied they threw it away. I said "why would you throw a part to a to a phone away? I filed a complaint with the BBB which AT&T executive offices responded. No reply from this franchise at all. read more

I have visited this store twice and was waited on by the young African American lady and both times now I received horrible customer service from her. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but after today not again. She needs to learn to listen for understanding before trying to answer. She never got what I needed and I left the store with no resolution. She basically walked off just like she did before. If you don't like what you are doing go find another job, there's plenty out there If you are going to work in a service industry then be prepared to offer solutions and be responsive. Absolutely a poor company to do business with. The product is good. But here are the issues for installing my internet! 1. The installer ran into my retaining wall backing his vehicle up the driveway. He didn't bother to tell me. But I was the one trying to be nice and make it easy on him to not have to walk back and forth up the significant incline. 2. Then the installer uses spray paint to mark the temporary line running across my walkway. I asked will this paint come off and he said yes. But he LIED to me. A month later and it has not come off using soap & water. 3. The clowns that came to bury the cable did not pick up the trash they left. They used my garden hose which was rolled up on 2 hangers. When they put the hose back it was a tangled mess! 4. I enrolled in auto payment to my credit card. However the sales person FORGOT to tell me the auto payment takes 4 to 6 weeks to take affect. So I have to call and spend over 30 minutes getting this resolved. AT&T's product is good, but they are not competent in the customer side of their business. Came in to upgrade my iPhone 6S to XR. Bought the phone and a bunch of accessories for it. However, the phone that I wanted was not in stock at the store, so the rep had to order it. And here's where the problems started: -No, they cannot deliver it to the store where I can pick it up. -No, they cannot schedule a specific delivery time in the next couple of days that's convenient for me. -No, they cannot set the delivery schedule farther in advance than a few days - which would have been the only way to schedule it so I can be there to sign for delivery. -No, they cannot have it left in my mailbox because I have to be there to sign for it. -No, someone else cannot sign for it unless they're on my account. 1st attempt to get my phone: Rep scheduled the time and told me that I can work with the delivery person directly to arrange a time within the delivery window that would enable me to be home to sign for delivery. The following day I tried that, but turns out that there's no flexibility within the time window after all. Delivery person sent me a link to reschedule. 2nd attempt to get my phone: Rescheduled the delivery time for Sunday 6pm-8pm. Got a delivery confirmation email and text. At 7:55 pm, still no delivery, so I reached to the delivery vendor asking when they would be coming. As soon as I texted them, I received an email saying that they're not able to come today and I have to reschedule again. 3rd attempt to get my phone: Rescheduled the delivery for Tuesday, 6 pm-8pm. Received confirmation email. On the day of delivery, given the previous fiasco, I call to confirm, and I'm told that my order was cancelled! Nobody bothered to tell me about it until I called! The delivery vendor said it was cancelled by AT&T and I need to call them. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with AT&T, and was told that they do not see anything in the system about my order and I need to call the store where I bought my phone. I called the store and was told that they cannot look anything up over the phone. I came in to the store, where a very impassive gentleman looked up the order (after trying to tell me that I need to call AT&T, which I already did) and informed me he had no idea why it was cancelled. But, he said he would be able to refund my payment and take back all the accessories that I purchased (when I thought I was going to get my phone). The impassive gentleman told that with a cancelled order, the refund will come back to my card within 3-5 business days (will have to check on that, as I no longer trust anything they tell me). Oh, and they refused to take back one of the accessories as it was discontinued. I cannot say for sure whether the store, AT&T or delivery vendor created this mess. However, it appears that they really do not want to sell products to customers. I will go elsewhere to get a new phone. read more

Worst customer service ever. When I walked in, I interupted snack time, since three employees were just sitting around eating and goofing off. One employee approached me and I explained the problem I was having. He said "this is all just too confusing to me" as the other employees watched offering no help. Poorest customer service I have ever seen. Called in on Wednesday it wasn't working- it's now Monday and they still haven't resolved. They cancelled the technician on their own saying it was fixed but it wasn't. Have new modem etc - changing providers. Way to much money for this type of service. 6 days no tv or internet & they offer you a $18 credit. They can keep it - they must need the $18 more than the monthly premium I'd pay for service. Despite the bad reviews I ran into this store to upgrade my phone due to the close location to my work. I was pleasantly surprised! There was no wait. Everyone was being helped. No one was unhappy. The gentleman I worked with was very social and polite. Then another had to come near us and he greeted me also. When I mentioned about how Walmart has cheaper Lifeproof cases he asked if I knew how much because he was willing to give me a discount in the store. I have to call to customer service because I got changed for the $99 dollars instalation fee. I was hesitant to leave a review the first experience at this store. So I decided to give it another chance and now I think it would only be right to save someone a few hours of their life by simply driving 5 more miles to another location. I am pretty tech savvy and knowledgeable with Apple devices but this task needed to be completed by AT&T. Long story short they unpaired my Series 4 Apple Watch twice after I told them I did that once prior to my visit. They had to call AT&T to walk through steps I could have done in the comfort of my own home...and gladly would have! While all this was happening the associate was sitting on a couch with his legs criss-crossed. Just a very unprofessional atmosphere. So on my 10 minute drive home I was able to cancel the line for my watch since AT&T could not fix the issue.
