First time I went in with my husband and there was one service person chatting with a friend. We looked around, interested in trading up on the phone we had. We looked and looked, shelves pretty much empty. He never asked us if we needed help, so after half an hour, we just left. Since then my husband has passed. His cell phone with $110 a month service for just two phones, was not holding a charge. So I purchased a used phone on eBay in exc. condition, recent model. I called to see if they could help me set it up. They said no because my husband's name was on the account. No amount of ID would be acceptable. I was told to contact his daughter to ask if she could update the name, authorize me to be the other user. I asked if they could set me up with a new iPhone 17 Pro no charge, and they said yes. But, when I asked if they could set up the number and move over the contacts, they sent me to another place in town that will charge me. They said they did not do any set ups at all at their store. For $110 a month when other carriers charge as little as $15-30 a month. They should offer customer service because there's no other reason to use them. If it were up to me, I would drop them right now. read more

BEWARE - SALES PEOPLE UNTRUSTWORTHY I went in and asked for the cheapest plan they have available. They told me $85/month was their cheapest plan and I didn't question it. They were super friendly, chatting me up and distracting me the whole time, 3 sales people. Then I go home and do some research and realize I was sold an upgraded business plan when I wanted the cheapest plan (it's around $30/month). I would complain to corporate or the store but the person whose name is on the account they seemed to be training. I doubt it's really his fault they treat customers this way. But jeez, DO NOT GO TO THE STORE - they will over sell you and make you think they're you're friend the whole time. read more

A lot of people have been pretty harsh to these poor workers because of the long wait times, but it's not there fault there understaffed. Eureka is a small town, so don't expect to get super fast service. But despite all the negativity, these workers and sweet and kind and keep there cool. Shoutout to Cyrus! Who helped me get my phone alongside all the other workers. I'm a very patient person so I don't mind waiting but if you do try and get there a little early. This guy called me stupid for my political views. He even had the guts to tell me I wasn't a real iPhone user because I voted for Trump. I just found it so insane like your a cell phone store why are you attacking my political views. Just don't go here you can do everything online now. Also AT&T the fact you let your employees talk to customers this way. Makes me question my business here. I wanted to give them a better rating. Truth is, it should be more like 2.5. Anyway, I stop in to get a cover and new headset for my iPhone. I check with the sales guy if the little hole in the top is for the headset jack and he says yes. Turns out, no. Noise cancellation. OK. No big deal. He tells me about the great return policy on the ear buds. So the cord plastic breaks. I come back and the person I speak to has me talk to a young woman about my return. She is terse and unhelpful. Wants to tell me what she can't do. Accuses me of breaking the wire, without asking what happened. So, I get out my phone and get someone else there to help me get yelp to come up. Apparently, I needed to allow my location, and reboot. Once I had yelp on my screen, they all tried to be nice. In the future I will do my best to use a different store. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible. If you look at my other reviews, you will notice I hardly ever give 1's. This would receive a 0 if I could rate that low. I visited this location back in November over the Thanksgiving Break. I don't live here, but was in town visiting. Since I had time off, I figured I would go to the ATT location to get employee discount my company provides and submit proof at this location. Originally, I wanted to do this over the phone, but was told by ATT I had to do so in person. As soon as I told the guy helping me what I needed, he tried to turn me away and didn't want to help me. He tried to convince me to call ATT, but when I shared the above info with him, he reluctantly helped me. I later found out he was very insecure because he didn't know how to perform the task. He reached out to another employee who showed him how to do it and he was surprised and excited at how easy it was. I completed the paperwork and he said he would fax in the rest of the documentation later that day. He told me it would take a billing cycle before my discount would be applied. I walked away satisfied. Fast forward to today. I logged into my ATT account to pay my bill. I noticed that my bill was HIGHER than all previous months (due to increase in state taxes, no big deal) and that there was no record of my discount applied. My bill should have had a 23% discount applied to it one billing cycle prior. Now my bill due in February STILL did not have it applied. I called ATT to find out what was going on. Turns out, this location NEVER faxed over my documentation regarding my corporate discount from my employer. No record what so ever. But because the representative I spoke to was awesome and could EASILY verify my corporate employment, she applied the discount (23%!) right away and gave me a credit for the previous month in which I should have received a discount. Now I am wondering what the heck the folks here at ATT are doing with my information. I had to provide a print out of my paystub and photo ID for proof of employment. Are you stealing my identity? I want these documents mailed back to me to ensure they are not just hanging around your office in some haphazard location for all to see. My advice? Actions speak louder than words. Do what you said you were going to do. We're all humans and we make mistakes, but when you mess with somebody's finances and sensitive documents, it is no good. I recommend customers steer clear of this location and go elsewhere. read more

To preface we have been AT&T customers since the early 1980s. Our 1st cell phone was actually a car phone in a bag. Anyway my husband went in today to find out information about 5G in our local area and when would be an opportune time to upgrade our phones. The website is of little use for people wanting to upgrade unless you plan on buying an additional line or brand new service. He was immediately told by a store employee that he needed to sign in and then wait outside. Note that the store is approximately 1200 ft² and there was a total of 2 employees and two customers inside. My disabled husband was wearing a mask and walking with a cane. He signed in and went outside and waited. No benches or other seating. At least 4 other customers came and went without waiting. After 45 minutes my husband returned inside and erased his name from the wait list (which was the only name on the list) and departed. We will take our business to the newly combined T-Mobile Sprint which has at least as good if not better service in this area. 5 less phones on At&t. read more

The worst service I've ever had for internet! Customer service is horrible, actual internet service is even worse. I had to spend HOURS (i'm not even exaggerating) on the phone trying to solve a problem that should have taken minutes. I set up 3 different appointments to start service because the first one no one showed up, the second one they did it incorrectly. Every time my bill is a different price, usually they try to tack on an extra $15 and hope I don't notice?? I am currently trying to stop my service and have been on hold for 15min with no response. Just like every other time. Except usually they have to transfer me 3 different time because they mess up. The internet service....oh where to start. REALLY slow, half the pages I tried to click on never loaded. A lot of times google wouldn't load, and that's a really simple page. 3/4 of the pictures on facebook would never load. I gave up trying to watch any kind of video. SERIOUSLY DO NO USE AT&T!!! read more

Went in to the store Sunday. Looked closed, but it was open. Met a pleasant young man and he asked what we were interested in...Told him the Iphone 6, I knew they didn't have them but I am willing to wait.. He looked at my plan and told me "I can save you some money." I said great, so he reconstructed my plan down to $150.00 which made me happy...Then we picked our phones and I had been told the day before by an employee, "Yes we price match the offer at Verizion." Well that was not the fact, after getting our phones picked out I would have to pay $220.00+ per month...I got the feeling I was at a used car lot and could not leave any faster...Nice guy but the sales system they use it is no wonder they are dead as apposed to the Verizion store that was PACKED!! I don't normally post anything but I am beyond pissed today. I went to this store twice today the first time on my lunch to speak with Gabriel but he was busy so I waited about half an hour in my car but still nothing so I went in and spoke to Perla. She wasn't really able to explain to me well enough about what I would be getting and how much if I added two more lines. I actually left my ID and went back to pick it up about 2 hours later. When I got there they were occupied with 2 customers. so I put my name on their tablet and waited in my car again. (By the way this is a horrible way to go about helping the customers) a couple of guys went in and put their name right after me . So about 40 minutes go by and they walk in and get helped while I'm still in my car I patiently wait thinking ok whatever about 20 minutes later I walk in and there are two other employees talking by the tablet. I was asked to put my name down on the tablet and low and behold my name is gone. I am beyond pissed I've been sitting in my car waiting for them to come get me but my name was erased the whole time one of the guys excuse was that he didn't see me. I was literally directly in front of the store with a black car the entire time...this store needs to rethink the way they deal with this issue. I know you can think of a better way for going about helping people I have already come up with two ways in the time it took to write this. I hope you fix this because I would hate to continue giving my money to a company that doesn't ensure its customer satisfaction.. read more

The management team was helpful, courteous and very generous with their time in setting up my mom's new iPhone 6. We had a long visit, but this was in part due to the transfer of the phone and also having all of our questions answered. I strongly recommend for AT&T users. I tried requesting a delivery from this store via the Arcata branch. The employee from Arcata clearly told the "manager" from eureka branch to deliver it the next day. Well he didn't show up so I showed up the next day after that and it still wasn't delivered. I ended up calling the eureka branch myself to see what was going on. The manager that was supposed to deliver it immediately started to defend himself saying he didn't receive clear instructions when I know he did because I was there when the employee called him. In the end I had to make him keep his word to send the phone over. Hopefully things work out this time. read more

Charles saved my butt! My phone screen went blank but it was taking a charge. I brought my phone and computer to the store as I hadn't backed up my phone in two years and was freaking out about losing contacts. Charles got my phone turned on for a split second where I punched in my code and could back my phone up to my laptop. He hooked me up with a new iPhone and upgraded me to a business account which saved me money! I also got a super deal on an iPad! These guys are so wonderful - coming from sf where it's absolutely miserable to go to an ATT store I was blown away by the stellar customer service and hands on approach from these guys. Brian is also super awesome. I had to buy these guys pizza for hooking me up and saving me. AND!!!!! Charles sent me a hand written note to thank me! What is that these days?!? So I this lame sales associate sold me a portable charger after I told him my car was impounded an I was waiting 4 hours for a friend to come an bail me out!!!! Fool assured me that it was fully charge an on the box it says that it will get me 2 full charges but nope it charged for 30 minuets an got me 20% of battery life. But I walked 20 minuets away back to the tow yard where I was meeting my friend!!! 3.5 hours pass I get my car out an wanted to return the product for one it was pink (I would of exchange it for another color if it worked) an two it didn't so when I returned it the rep named Zack acted really rude an charged me a restocking fee for an accessory not a device ‍ now I work for a reputable company in the cellular business as well an I have never charged a guest a restocking fee on a accessory definitely not to someone in delicate situation as mine but I went with the flow an was polite a I could be but I just have to post this!!! Cause especially after researching online while he did his job an found out they their was no such thing, so I figured he just wanted to make his commission off 6$ smh read more

If you can help it: stay away from AT&T services! All of them! Not just Eureka. They are lovely when you sign up but chalk it up to sales BS and cons. Cheaper phones service -- we can do that! No they can't -- read the fine print, ask questions and ask the same questions multiple times. They do not deliver what they promise. Bundling? Try bungling. Unless you are sadistic and love to inflict yourself with problems, it is easiest to just stay away and sign-up with a different carrier. read more

Having read a few reviews here that are not very positive, thought I would share mine. I had a number of occasions recently to visit the store, and honestly every time have not had any issues. Customer Service was great: always greeted when I walked in, courteous, helpful for my issue. I was having problems with reception and staff helped getting it resolved. Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever received from any store. The first time i went in i was trying to add a line and ALL i was told was that i had to be an authorized user on the account. So, i left and had the account holder add me as an authorized user. The second time i came back, i was informed that only the account holder could add the line, which they failed to communicate with me the first time, so again i left unsatisfied that i still could not add the line. So for the third time i came into the store (after the account holder had went into an att store and talked to the manager there and left a note giving authorization for me to add the account) i was informed that i STILL could not add the account, even though there was a special note and i was an authorized user. This was frustrating, however it is not completely the reason why i am so unsatisfied with the store. Justin Love, the employee helping me, as well as the female instore manager, failed to offer any form of good customer service trying to fix the problem. And if it wasnt for Justin's horrible lack of communication, it could have saved me three trips back there to deal with the problem. Because of this, i wil NEVER return to this att store again. (after calling a different att store from another location, all my questions were answered in less than 3 minutes). Some advice for the store, hire people who have a large enough brain to effectively communicate rather than dumbasses who waste my time..good luck read more
