Andrew was exceptionally nice. He was not pushy at all to upgrade me and told me when to come back for the best deal. Great experience.

I was at Mitsuwa last week with a friend of mine who decided to get a new phone from Wireless Spot…read more While he was waiting for his account to initiate, the sales guy convinced me to get a new phone also. He pretty much sold me and he managed to get me on a new contract (even though I was already on a contract -- yeah you go dude!) and hence, the ability for me to get a new phone. Since I was porting over my old number it took 24 hrs from the time my old SIM card stopped working and my new SIM to start working. It wasn't too much of a problem, but I did however have a lot of problem trying to get my numbers put onto the new phone. Hubby tried to help me 3x and it didn't work. My numbers were jumbled on my phone once uploaded -- they didn't appear alphabetically. It was extremely frustrating. A lot of my phone numbers were missing also. I wasn't able to do a search for them most of the time which was very annoying when I was trying to call someone and I was in a hurry. The following day I called T-Mobile and the customer service agent spent over an hour with me trying to help me out but with no luck. She suggested I go back to Wireless Spot and have them switch the phone because she believes it's the phone which has the problem. So off I go back to Wireless Spot and to my chagrin the guy who helped me 2 days before wasn't there. I was faced with a new guy. I explained the situation to him and the first thing out of his mouth was "I can't help you". WTF! I explained the situation to him again telling him the other guy helped me and maybe he could contact him. I'm guessing it's the language barrier because a few mins later, he returns after calling the guy to tell me that he said he didn't try to put the numbers on my phone. Dude! I didn't say that he did! GRRRRRRR!! Finally, after much deliberation, the guy asked me to go home and grab my old phone with my numbers on it and he'll see what he can do. I was so pissed because I had to drive home and get the old phone and go back -- wasted time and energy!! I don't know what he did, but after about 10-15 mins he managed to get my phone book installed and alphabetically. What a relief. He must've thought I was insane, but my friends saw my phonebook all jumbled so I really don't know what happened. After that was done, I say to him "so I still have a problem". T-Mobile tried to sync my numbers from my account to my phone but they couldn't do it. Doesn't that mean there is still a problem with the phone? He didn't understand. He kept trying to tell me "it is possible to do that" -- meaning sync it from the website. I repeated myself again and again that T-Mobile did that and it didn't work. He looked at me quizzically so finally I just gave up. I'm glad that he fixed it, but my suggestion is, it's easier to just get a phone from a location where you speak that salesperson's first language. It's just much too tiring to try to explain yourself and not be understood. It's just much too frustrating when things go wrong and you can't get your point across.

The sales guy started taking my info. Then he randomly asked me , "hey how old are u?" I'm like why do u need to know? Thought that was a weird question. He then proceeded to say "well we have these programs for people of certain age" I was completely floored and offended - I'm like, " are u insinuating that I'm old enough for a senior discount?! Didn't ur mom teach you not to ask a woman's age?!" He then told me that he saw the year I was born on my ID and didn't math right. I'm in my early 40's WTH?! He then walked to another table and gave me his back and then said, "Well do u want a phone or what?!" I told him I'd rather someone else help me. The manager was near him and didn't say a word. He was helping another customer but after about 10 more minutes of waiting I just walked out. Drove to the HB location way out of my way, off of beach and tablert and had amazing service! No issues, no ages questions, no BS. Forgot the guy who helped but he was super nice and helpful and I was out the door in 10 minutes. Don't go to the Costa Mesa on harbor. Rude, disrespectful and they don't care. "

I thought, "OMG, I'm here in Orange County - not exactly known for its tech community. What am I gonna do?" I found iSolution and brought my MacBook in. The guy fixed it right away while I watched. He didn't even charge me. Then on Saturday, Feb. 11, everytime I put my password in to log on, I got the whirligig. After waiting 5 attempts at about 15 minutes each with no progress, I realized this was a bigger problem than restart could fix. I brought my laptop into iSolution and the guy watched the whirligig and said, "This is an OS problem." Luckily I had my WD back up drive and it was current, so I told him if he had to wipe the laptop, so be it. Well, after a few hours he called and said the OS was corrupted and that he'd been able to fix it without wiping my laptop. No need to reinstall everything. I picked it up and he charged me reasonably. It is completely fixed and am on my laptop right now! I am a super happy camper. Both experiences with iSolution were fantastic. Susan
