Having employees call back and fix the issues they created by trying to get commission.

Three days later we called and the guy on the phone was very rude and dismissive and said he hadn't even ordered the parts and he didn't know when the phone would be fixed and he would call us when it was done. The next day we went into the store and he handed us the phone supposedly fixed but said he had cracked the back screen while he was fixing it and he would order and replacement free of charge. Cook, but why was he messing with the back of the phone when it was the front of the phone that needed to be fixed? Then minutes later the phone is just about dead. The battery it's draining fast. So we charge it. It gets to 100%. And then an hour later it dies. Something is wrong with it if it can't hold a charge. It wasn't like that when we gave it to them before they replaced the screen. Next thing you know, the phone screen is all glitched out. We can't move it, close it, it won't respond to anything. You can turn it off, but once you open the phone, that glitched out screen is there. While that's happening, the phone smells terrible, like burning glue or nail polish remover. At that point, I'm completely done. We are going back tomorrow and demanding they fix what they damaged or that they refund us completely. Because this is absolutely ridiculous. They also did not give us a receipt when we initially paid, or tell us that the phone screen we got was not under warranty and instead of us paying through the store computer. The guy pulled out a phone and had us tap to pay through there. And then next transaction pulled out a different phone and had us tap to pay through there. They are scratchy and deceptive and I warn all who see this, STAY AWAY. Find someplace else to get your phones and electronics fixed. If I could rate no stars or even negative stars I would. I paid over 400$ for them to give me back a phone that was in even worse condition than when I gave it to them.

Spoke with the AT&T store at Arrowhead and was told we were out of luck and to call AT&T direct. Called them, they called the manufacture and was told to buy a case for the phone. (Pantech people don't even know the phone they develop!) so the AT&T guy advised to us an upgrade on another line and toss the phone. Now we get to the store meet with the greeter who we show the problem. He shows us a couple phones after looking at ours. We hang out for the next rep that turns out to be Laurie. So check this out. She grabs a phone out of the box due to the demo on the wall not working. Then it happens. This wonderful lady lets us know to take the lock code off the phone we have and guess what?! Problem solved!!!! So lets recap.... AT&T store at the mall, AT&T corp., manufacture, and a greeter.... I run a million dollar a month store and I would hire Laurie to cover all these people and pay her triple! Common sense, logic, product knowledge, and customer service! Gets no better than what Laurie is! Thank you so much Laurie!

I started this process on August 14, and what should have been a simple phone upgrade has turned…read moreinto an extremely frustrating experience. My first visit started out fine until I realized the representative had ordered the wrong phone. As soon as I noticed the mistake, I called the store. The representative spoke with AT&T customer service and was told the order could not be canceled. I was also told that I would need to wait for the incorrect phone to arrive before it could be returned or exchanged. However, the store representative assured me that once the phone arrived, I would be able to exchange it for the correct phone without a problem. Three days later, I returned to the store to pick up the phone I never wanted in the first place. The representative who originally helped me acted as though she did not remember me and offered no assistance with fixing the mistake. Another representative eventually helped me and explained that if I exchanged the phone in the store, I would have to pay a restocking fee and pay the sales tax on the phone I originally wanted **before I received the refund for the sales tax I had already paid on the incorrect phone**. I was also told that the sales tax from the incorrect phone could not simply be transferred or applied toward the correct phone. To make matters worse, the store did not even have the phone I wanted in stock, which was the reason I had asked the original representative to order it in the first place. I was then told I needed to send the incorrect phone back and wait for it to be received and inspected. After speaking directly with AT&T customer service, I learned that the exchange process I had originally been promised was not actually how the process worked. Instead, I have to wait for the returned phone to arrive, be processed, and be inspected before anything else can move forward. No one could give me a clear answer about how long the inspection would take. I also cannot receive a refund for the sales tax I paid on the phone I never wanted until the return has been inspected and processed. I was told that could take another 3-7 business days. On top of that, I cannot upgrade to the correct phone until the upgrade connected to the incorrect phone is removed from my AT&T account. Right now, the system still shows that I have already completed an upgrade, even though I never received the phone I actually wanted. It is now August 20, and I am still waiting. No one at the store has been able to resolve the issue, and the customer service representatives over the phone cannot complete the upgrade until the return process is finished. The biggest issue for me is that this entire situation started because the wrong phone was ordered, yet I am the one dealing with all of the delays, additional upfront costs, conflicting information, and inconvenience caused by that mistake. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location. It felt like the priority was making the sale and repeatedly trying to sell me AT&T Internet rather than making sure my phone order was correct or helping resolve the problem afterward. Hopefully, at some point, I will finally receive the phone I originally went there to purchase. Horrible experience.
