I came into this store to transfer ownership to my sister and was not informed that they would close my account and open hers, the rep changed my information to reflect hers and informed me that my obligations to them were fulfilled. Fast forward a year and I am made aware by credit karma that ATT Mobility sent me to collections due to a Past owed amount. I came in to speak to Ana the stores manager and explained the negligence I received that day and without care she simply offered to pass the puck and said she won't do anything to satisfy the wrongdoing and defamation of my credit but simply to pass me off to collections to pay the balance owed. She grew upset and FINALLY acknowledged me only when I was explaining the level of service or disservice I received from her to the customer loyalty group and began trying to rush me out of the store. I also found it unprofessional that the stores manager ANA was trying to persuade me not to follow up with another AT&T rep at the sams club location because of THEIR service there when she was down right incompetent in her role and refused to fix an issue caused by the store she now manages. read more

Great service when they are making a sale. If you come back for repairs or defective products that is their fault, get ready to be ignored and treated bad. Wait time is at least half an hour to find out that they may not be able to help you out in the end. I got so much time on my hand, waiting, I figure that someone show know about their service. Over an hour wait and no one offers me anything. If your the type of person who appreciates great service, this may not be the place to return things. read more

I went in to get an upgrade on my phone. The customer service guy was very pushy, pretty much promised me anything to get me to buy this new iPhone. After paying a lot more than I planned to pay I thought it was over. That is until I tried to get a new screen protector when mine broke. The customer service guy told me that the reason the glass screen protector was so expensive ($40) was because if anything happened to it the company would replace it free of charge. I would never have to buy another screen protector for this phone. The first one would be replaced at the AT&T store and the next ones would be replaced by contacting the company online. Not so much... The first time it broke I went into the AT&T store and had to argue with them to get them to replace it. They said that they would only replace it if it had lifted and not been damaged by some kind of impact. That stipulation was never mentioned when I was told about the guarantee that it would be replaced free of charge. The second time I went online to the company and they replaced it but charged me $10. That $10 cost was never mentioned when I was told about the guarantee at the AT&T store. Needless to say I don't trust this place. They tell you what you want to hear in order to sell you stuff but it ends up being lies. Be careful. read more

The sales rep told me my 2 Verizon iPhone XS 256gb were not compatible with At&T and I had to trade them in and buy new ones i ended up buying lower model ones. I found out today Verizon phones are unlocked when you buy them and they would have worked. They also told me my business lines would be $107 a month and the bill is $274 a month and now I have two phones I owe for and a bill that shouldn't be. I feel like I was taken advantage of just to make commission. This is wrong I'm pretty sure it's theft. I just want my phones unlocked for the way your employees stole my phones to sell me lower models. You have to be extremely careful of the sales people here. Some are very helpful but others are there to take complete advantage. Went in to buy a phone and the salesman tried selling us protective cases before we even had the phone then tried to to tell me that protective cases on line are not as good as theirs. We left and came back another day and bought from a different salesperson. This one actually talked me into trying a two week trial for their streaming service. It was supposed to be cancel and get your money back, I went in and waited for approximately an hour to cancel the service. The girl helping me canceled and took the equipment. Then she told me to call to verify the cancellation, I did and guess what I'm hit with a $345.00 early cancellation fe. I have been with AT&T for 20 years but that doesn't count for anything. At this point I'm thinking hard about a different carrier. Their prices keep going up and loyalty counts for nothing here. If you go in to try to discuss you get no help at all. read more

So I called costumer service yesterday to ask them about a new phone the lady was so awesome, she gave me the information I needed and she told me to go into the store to trade in my old phone because it would take 10 days for her to do it over the phone, I should have just did that and waited the 10 days. I walked in to the store and nobody greeted me. After 3 minutes I had to ask "are you guys putting names down?" a lady and gentleman looked at me like they were lost and the lady told me "give me 2 seconds" and leaves. Then the gentleman came up and asked me for my phone number I told him "I suggest you help those customers on the right side because they were here before me." He goes and asks them if their name and number were taken and they say yes. He then comes back to me and I put my name and number down and he asked why was I in the store that day, I telled him I'm trying to get an upgrade on my phone. He tells me "okay I will be right with you" so I walk around looking at the phones. Then I see a large area with a TV and I sit there, 5, 10, 15 minutes pass by and I look around for the family that was ahead of me and they were gone. I decided to get up because the family had already left and I was the next in line, but then I saw people that came in after me being helped before me. Another family was sitting down with an employee and a couple also being helped by another gentleman. So, then I looked at the lady that from the start of the story she told me give me "two seconds." she was finishing up with a family and then she calls out other person's names before me and then I'm like ma'am can you just give me your business card with the manager's name on it. Then the couple that was being helped by the same lady say "no, no you got here before us" I told them "no thank you, you guys go ahead I just need the card." The manager looks over and doesn't even have the gall to bring me the card, what a great manager the store has. When he sees a problem he just puts his head down and talks to the costumer in front of him. Now the lady tells me "I can help you" I tell her no I don't have any time just give me the business card, she dilly dallied for a couple minutes so I walk out. She sees me walk out and finally brings me the card and apologizes. So, if you want to waste 30 minutes of your time with only one customer in front of you, terrible customer service and a crappy apology this is the store for you. Just make sure you have nothing else to do because that one customer in front of you will turn into three or four and you will spend your whole day in there. read more

Wanted to start out by saying that the sales rep is a liar!!! Took my phone in to have diagnostics done on my phone because of the usb port was not working. David the sales rep told me he was putting note on my account that is was defective and they would mail a new one out to me. I said OK went home called the warranty and turns out thats not what he put in the notes. He wrote it was physical damage. I say that was pretty deceiving he would lie to my face!!!. I'm not done with that store yet Im going to make sure everyone knows what a bunch of lying as sales rep he is. I switched from Sprint to deal with this! I would give them -5 stars but yelp wont allow. You dont treat customers like that lying to there face be straight up about it. I been getting the run around for a few weeks on this issue. I don't know how the commission works at the att stores but it needs to change. I went in to upgrade my phones and I've been with att for years. I go in and upgrade and also get direct tv as a promotional thing for the phones...I ask about mobile hotspot as an alternative for current provider. Sales says yes if u get a great signal on your phone it will also be the same signal(lie #1) I said ok and speed should be as fast as the internet selection (I had to increase to the premium in order to get the speed for the demands I expressed to him computers stream tv and ps4 gaming.. should be plenty fast and can handle it (2nd lie) I asked about throttling...oh I should not get throttled where I live it's for highly populated areas. (3rd lie) all this for only $20 a month no mention of contract but In fact cancel anytime(4th lie) seems great really gave it a try wanted it to work saving so much money I thought....I called one time because I was not getting a signal anywhere in may house for about 4-5 days as I don't use it that often. They said reset it and if not send back for new one she had no experience with it. Also told me that day 6 of billing and middle of day I'm being throttled. So today I decided I can't deal with the lack of connection as my wife works from home and can't be throttled. C/s rep stated under contract $140 to cancel the service that does not work as stated and I asked for manager ....waited 15 minutes and Dana starts talking like she is the manager and after I realized it I called her out and was furious how they would piss a customer off over $140 after I pay more than 300 a month seems like a no brainer to make a customer happy they lose nothing. I will be calling back to talk further. So tired of the lies and greed of businesses. Seriously not looking for something for free but just cancel. read more

Had to pick a star but not worthy of 1. Stupid me for moving from Verizon to AT&T, 8 days later back to Verizon but not after being taken for from AT &T. Don't believe what they tell you in store, get what they tell you in writing and Don't give then your phone. I was talked in to getting the 3 lines unlimited plan along with the Direct TV. I was told I would get $250 in credit instead if the Visa Card to buy accessories for a mailer I got when you do the bundle. I was told I would get a buy one get one free for Samsung 8 plus also a 3rd phone for free which was just a cheap Samsung phone that was for the 3rd line. I was told no activation fees I asked for insurance on 2 of the phones. I was told I'd get 100 off once direct tv installed due to wireless install. I was told install would be done the very next day Saturday 8am to noon. I was told would be 214.00/month including direct tv mind you this was before we added insurance to two lines so add $16 take off $10 with auto pay and paperless billing. Ok we fell for it. 1st warning should've been that it took from 330pm to past closing to get phones set up due to newer guy didn't seem to know how to port numbers. 2nd issue Saturday morning wait for direct tv 8am to noon, no show. I call was told install was noon to 4pm. I get a call at 2pm we haven't forgot about you. 4pm no show I call yet again to be told our order on hold and now can't be installed for 2 weeks. I was livid a whole day wasted and not even a call so had to call them. I call manager to be told nothing can be done until Monday. I was given to a different manager to be told not until 16th can the do install and I would have to miss work for this. 2nd issue come to find out I was being charged for 3 lines of insurance instead of 2 so once again had to reach out to manager and get corrected. 3rd issue got a bill 375.00..wth! Reply: you are charge for both phones for 1st few billing periods, how is this free? And how was this not disclosed to me. I was told I was charged activation fees when I asked specifically that question and was told no. This $375 doesn't include my direct bill which is separate...a far cry from my $214.00 quote. So then I get an assistant mgr and associate and they lie about what was said to get me in and the sales rep had the gull to say to me when he told me he remembered exactly that he had done only 2 lines of insurance I quickly backfired with no you did 3 lines and I had to correct...his reply, regardless I know I did the rest as said. He was sweating bullets,red and very unsure of what he was doing I should've walked away then. I tell assistant manager I will be there to cancel as is within 14days. He tells me he'd be there. I come in, big surprise he's not there. A lady who couldn't seem to find our account took about 20min to figure it out. Told us we lost our Samsung 6 we had turned in as they sent off. Charged us $45 restock fee per phone which I understood. Was told we'd have to return all accessories with no monies back. Was told we would only get $54 credit for our galaxy 6 phone. Then customer service tells me I still have to pay activation fees for the 3 lines. They screwed us over bad, all lies and misleading promises. I wouldn't recommend them at all but if you do record your conversation because they will tell you one thing but won't back it up when they Don't deliver. Ok done. I see that this store has quite a few bad reviews and it is a shame as we have been here twice in the last month and the service they provided was top notch. Yes there is a bit of a wait but your not here for a burger and fries, it takes time to pick out a phone with all its features and activate. We are very pleased and will definitely recommend them. I try to offer the benefit of the doubt with poor customer service experiences, because we all have bad days right? Unfortunately I have had multiple less-than-stellar experiences with this store and their staff over the years, with the most recent one taking the cake. I went in this week to check out the new iPhones, but could not find them on display. I asked a team member where I could find them, and he curtly explained that they did not have them on display for security purposes - "because people were stealing them." I then asked if he even had any in stock, and he said yes. I asked if he could bring one out, as I just wanted to compare the feel of the different sizes, and he said no. So, I cannot see the phone at all before I agree to buy it? The team member confirmed that this is their policy. First, that seems ridiculous. I understand security, but even high-end jewelry stores allow you to compare products in person before you commit to buying anything. Second, the team member's attitude about the whole thing was incredibly off-putting. He was more focused on his tablet and other interactions than me, and acted as if I was making an unreasonable request by wanting to physically see the product before buying it. He suggested I "try Best Buy, they might have them on display." Long story short, I did, they were super helpful and friendly, and in case anyone else is wondering, they do have the phones on display as they apparently do not have the same security issues as an authorized AT&T dealer. read more

This store needs to train the sales people how to activate a phone, I bought a iPhone 6 at the AT&T store on Bell Road and surprise. I decided to activated at the AT&T store in Goodyear, The store in surprise sent me all up and I told him we would like to transfer our number from cricket and keep the same number, but I went to the AT&T store in Goodyear a told me I could not do it because I activated already in the store at surprise which I did not do the sales guy did for me so when I try to activate it again I transfer the number over to us in the Goodyear store they want another $45. I paid the additional $45 and the salesman told me to get my money back from the store in surprise, I went back to surprise tell my story and the gentleman there which is the manager told me that the salesman good you're screwed up that I need to go back there and get my money back, it's like a three ring circus dealing with those people try to avoid those stores if all possible read more

Where to start? I went it because someone stole our phone and had to get a replacement. I didn't want to upgrade because a newer iPhone was coming out so we wanted something really cheap for the meantime. They were too pricey for our needs. So I got a phone and went in to get a Sim card. I told them countless times to not change my plan because I still have the unlimited data. I stressed it so much! When I get home the phone isn't going onto the Internet. I called customer service and that's when the rep told me that at the store had EXPIRED my unlimited data. Not just that they put me in a data plan that's two dollar Per megabyte. If I wouldn't have called and continued using it like normal my data bill would've been 30,000. Not even exaggerating. What kind of crap is that! I was so lived. Thankfully the rep on the phone told me to not worry. Since it was a grandfathered account he had to file a claim. He assured me 100% that they would restore my unlimited data. So the employees at this locations are crooks. They kept asking me do you Really need an unlimited plan? How much data do you use? These are our new plans want to try them out? They were nonstop with their requests. Avoid this location or any retail location. I haven't been in an att store for 5 years. I never have problems with att and if something comes up I call their customer service that is fantastic and do a great job. Big mistake I made was after 5 years is going into a store. I have been a loyal customer 20 plus years AT&T never had I had my phone service shut off due to non-payment my phone has been off for 3 weeks which is my personal / business phone it is totally affected my business in a negative way for my clients are not able to contact me in any way my phone was cut off due to an error by one of AT&T employee they didn't let me know multiple times it's not my fault but they don't seem to know who can help rectify the problem this has become a huge nightmare and it's been very stressful and I will fight this situation in any way possible I have contacted several news channels and when I get to the bottom of this not one supervisor who has promised to call me back in 2 to 3 business day has even reached out and contacted me I have all my receipts and documentation of a phone that I purchase and return within less than 10 days and pay the restocking fee and one of your employees did not send it back to the corporate office and I am getting charged for this this is not my fault you guys know this isn't my fault even the store manager said he has sent the phone back and self and they still won't take the $800 charge off my bill and for that they shut my phone off I will not pay that some money for a bill that is not mine read more

I have been At&t customer for a very long time. However after the experience this weekend I would like to explore other options. Either their people are not trained well or they are just plain shady. My husband went in on Friday to explore new phone options for me and new plans. Waited 40 minutes to talk to someone however he left feeling he got some good options. Fast forward to Sunday. He makes and appointment so we do not have to wait 40 minutes. We get there everyone is giving smiles and handshakes and welcoming us and then it just goes down hill. The representative we were dealing with is giving my husband totally different costs then on Friday. The phone I want is not in stock and would have to wait 3-4 weeks and then of course the rep is trying to sell us on a different plan and different phone. Then behind me I hear a women asking for the same phone I wanted and her rep tells her one week for them to get it. So what is it 3-4 or 1? I left feeling annoyed and aggravated. And of course on the way out the manager that was all welcoming and handshaking us when we arrived turned her back to us. She should of been concerned that we did not have a good experience in her store. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!! STAY AWAY!!! I don't even no where to start. The whole organization from store manager (BRIAN GOMEZ) to corporate customer service. I went in because I decided to switch from Verizon to AT&T. We were going to trade in 2 iPhones for 2 new iPhones (7 & & plus). Unfortunately, we couldn't do that because the 7 plus was on back order and the wife and I didn't want different contract end dates so we stuck with Verizon. Long story short, I had to spend over 3 days to get a simple refund between store management and corporate. Everyone from the manager to corporate gave me the run around and they are very unprofessional. The rep I spoke to at corporate (Erick Id# JTHCG37) was a complete joke. He said the word "umm" like 30 times and didn't seem to know what he was doing. When I asked if he was ok he said "It smells like watermelons where he's at and it's making him sick"???? After it was all said and done they sent me 2 iPhones that I have to return and waste more time before I can get a refund. I have used Sprint, T-mobile and Verizon over the years.
