After them failing to fix my IPhone 7S because it wasn't the screen, I took it to Apple…read more For the same price it would cost to replace screen at CPR, Apple will give you a new, "refurbished", phone if they can't fix it, which was my case. Check Apple first if it's an IPhone is my advice. They even forgot to put the sealant on my phone however it was no charge since they couldn't fix.

I purchased a MacBook Pro on Feb 21,2022 for my daughter. I asked if it was brand new or…read morerefurbished and was told by the now Regional manager that it was brand new, that my daughter will be the only one ever registered to it. I paid $1550 for it through finance. At the time, I didn't think anything of it, but there wasn't a original charger with it and he gave me one off the shelf. About a month ago, something happened, possibly that my daughter entered the incorrect password and the Mac is locked. We have gone through all the steps and it will not unlock. Says the apple or icloud id is h****@gmail.com. we assumed it was son's as a recovery email. But its not. We go to the Apple store, they won't touch it. Call CPR they say nothing they can do. So back and forth I have been with them. Sept 17, 2022 I finally get a Apple rep that will help. They want the invoice showing where and when I purchased it. I call CPR, get an email of the invoice and send it to Apple Support. I'm told by Apple this is not brand new, my invoice doesn't suffice, they need an original. So I go to CPR Gardendale, he says he will look at it but there was a small crack on the screen that voids the warranty, so if he can't fix it, oh well. Well if it was brand new like it was sold to me, we wouldn't have a issue. Of course he can't fix it, never in his life seen this happen, can't get the vendor to do anything, needs a $400 piece to fix it. Its my fault now cause of screen damage. No the problem is selling refurbished products as new. Being deceitful. Because he knew I didn't want a refurbished lMac, I told him that the day I bought it. I am still trying to get it resolved with Apple, CPR doesn't care and neither does the owner, my husband reached out to him. It needs to be known that CPR will blame their vendor Hyla, for sending in used Macs and then it's our fault, the customer, if something goes wrong. I want my money back and/or replaced with a new authorized Mac if Apple can't unlock it.

They say got to go UbreakIfix. Wtf! Why do I want to deal with a third party. I can do that myself. As I did before I got insurance. It should b easier don't cha think but no it's complicated. Especially when we call the nearest one which is at Lorna Road and they say Verizon told us wrong and gave us a number to some other place. It's a dang run around. What they don't tell you is if you want a phone replaced you might get a refurbished one. Again WTH! Why do I want a refurbished phone ? So back to the battery replacement we called the number and it gives you no option for a battery replacement /no real person will answer. Oh if U did file a claim and go through that hoopla You probably will get a refurbished phone (who the He double hockey sticks wants that) Verizon scams people . It's a scam company . I hate giving them my business to b quite honest. If at all possible go elsewhere for your phone needs. This place sucks. The service is atrocious! They are not a honest company to deal with and they lie continuously!!! We have caught them in too many to count.

I need to warn people about how an 80+ year old friend of mine was treated at the AT&T Store -…read moreAlabaster Promenade. She received one of those bogus pop-up messages claiming her phone had a virus -- the kind every scammer uses. Unsure what to do, she did the reasonable thing and took her phone to the store for help. She was told: * the "virus" could not be removed * she had to buy a new phone * moving her to the same (less expensive) model "didn't work" * instead, she needed a more expensive phone on a "no-cost" payment plan * and she was charged $60 on the spot She was also sent home with: * a new phone number * an additional line charge * and her supposedly "infected" old phone That night? Neither phone worked. Both showed "No Network." When she returned to the store the next day, she was told she could return the phone -- for a $55 restocking fee. Only after calling 611 and spending over an hour on hold, corporate immediately: * reversed the $60 charge * waived the restocking fee * arranged a free UPS return So let's be clear: AT&T corporate fixed this instantly. The problem was the store. To the manager of the Alabaster Promenade AT&T store: If your staff is trained to scare elderly customers into unnecessary upgrades, extra lines, and fees just to hit a quota, that's not sales -- it's exploitation. People deserve to know. Especially seniors and their families. Check on your parents. Check their bills. And think twice before trusting this location.
