It took 15 for someone to even look up and say hello to us. Only to acknowledge that there is apparently a list to wait, and then only to inadvertently put the man who came after me, before me on the list. Will not ever return, and you should not either. Only came here out of convenience, pretty big mistake. Just a simple question & they are too short staffed to assist everyone, and worse to care. What's worse, I'm not even waiting for assistance for myself, but for a friend. I am a Verizon customer. This is way. Great job AT&T. I keep adding to this, the longer I sit here (now at 50 minutes). AT&T took my money and has not given it back! You guys are a joke, you made multiple mistakes on my accounts I've called over 20 times to correct your mistakes nothing was resolved. I had your services not even 2 weeks and received an 800 bill! Not only did I pay 400 to start services you guys tried to steal money from my bank account after I cancelled the services and you stated I would get a refund you tried to steal the money. Mislead lead by head manager on a sales deal. Very sketchy. Promised services and never delivered. Asked to see my contract. But, employees said I don't have one. That's strange. I called retention department who confirmed I did have a contract. Employees are sketchy, condescending and misleading. If you are suspicious, push back. Employee is likely lying. This happened back in February of 2018. I had a brand new 24 hr old Galaxy s8active with a defective screen, I was on the phone with att customer service for over an hour troubleshooting the problem before I was told by att to go to a store to have my phone switched via 14 day warranty. I was almost immediately met with "how do we know you didn't do this? We can't replace that here" they also told me because of the way my phone was delivered it could have been damaged during delivery and they still couldn't replace the phone. That angered me, so I told them that att corporate customer service told me I could come here and get it switched, in response to that they said they couldn't. I asked them why att would tell me that only to be denied upon arrival. Finally after getting very upset they said they would switch the phone at a $45 charge. UNACCEPTABLE! It is supposed to be no charge. When I got upset I was kicked out of the store. Absolute worst experience. Throuout the whole ordeal nobody even looked up my acct or tried to contact att corporate customer service whom told me to go to the store. I was treated less than important in every way. Worst experience ever. Turns out I was right, there is a written procedure for exchanging the phone within 14 days with the fee waived. I got it emailed to me by corporate. You were wrong I was right. I went to a diff att store and had it done correctly no problem, for free as stated. Corporate said they would follow up with me after contacting the store, but I never heard back, I also left a review on thier Facebook page and never received any feedback. read more

I've dealt with this store several times. The wait time is always reasonable even when I have been a walk-in. I have bought phones from them and this last time I was there, I was having an issue with my phone but they didn't try to sell me a new phone. They gave me information regarding my warranty, explained the process for me, and even got me started in making a claim. The person helped me didn't try to rush me through this process and answered my questions throughout. The customer service is very good at this store and I will continue to use them when in Houston. read more

I had a really great experience at the store. The representatives are all very helpful, my upgrade was smooth and easy. I am excited about my new Apple Watch! The representative was very patient, waiting on my phone to do another backup to the cloud to ensure I didn't loose anything when I upgraded into the iphone7. I am happy to say everything moved over and I didn't have any problems. The store is very nice, lots of selection of cases and accessories for phones and tablets. The parking lot is a little small but I was able to get parked and I didn't have any issues. I am going to be referring all of my friends to this store, they were wonderful! read more

These guys are really helpful. I was on my way to apple to get my numbers transferred from my old phone the samsung galaxy s3 to the iphone 5. While I was waiting in traffic on Kirby I thought about it, it would save me time if I could just stop in and take care of it at att. Sure enough these guys have the same machine that allows you to transfer numbers/data. The customer service was great for a zero income transaction. read more

W. O. W. That spells wow by the way. I know that I spent $350 on a phone that was stolen promptly 13 days later after upgrading from a 3G to a iPhone 4 but the service at this location is simply impeccable. (Some of the patrons can definitely learn some manners though.) At the beginning of March, I visited this store and Donovan (I think the manager?) assisted me with upgrading to an iPhone4 because my 3G no longer wanted to take phone calls or check-in (yes, really because of yelp), or go the correct application. I had a coupon which gave me two items for $350. Instead, he gave me three items. What? Did you just give me more stuff? ME LIKEY. For two weeks I lived in glorious bliss with my phone. i loved it. I kissed it. I whispered sweet nothings to it. Then an evil person who will definitely rot in iPhone hell... well stole it. That's where Chris steps in. I suppose I was being pretty dramatic when I walked in that day. I mean, seriously, I feel separation anxiety with it now. I feel like I never got to say good bye. So back to Chris.... He basically asked me who could help me - I said I needed Donovan. But essentially he still patiently helped me out. Two options: Pay as you go. I guess I literally asked him to look at my face and see how high maintenance I looked. How could one go from caviar to a big mac?? Option two: $600. I. FELL. TO. THE. FLOOR. And if you think i didn't. my friend and the rest of the store can attest that i did. I normally am not this dramatic... but we are talking about the love of my life here!! It just left me!! And you want me to pay for another? At this point Donovan, who is assisting another customer chimes in and adds that if I had insurance for $11.99 - CUT OFF - WAIT. Insurance? Donovan. I have not filled out your customer survey form which I plan on doing. I could have insurance? You only sold me that Apple iCare!!! Insurance would still be $350 because Apple knows that all of us crazy people will pay it!! (so Donovan still gets thumbs up I guess for not selling it to me. So for now, 3G back in action - what i want for my birthday (JULY 9th - bookmark it - collective donation for the iPhone5 in white). And is it weird that Chris and I have the same birthday? Is it even weirder that I know that his favorite dessert is Crave cupcakes? Man, I love you AT&T - Kirby for being so awesome and all you did was reactivate a phone for me and I lost $350 in the transaction!! So, sorry AT&T customers for acting foolish although I saw all of you laughing at my plight. Walked right in and got my rose gold iPhone (it was the fourth store I'd been to - Apple turned me away and Best Buy couldn't sign a contract with AT&T for me). Anyways, sales associate was really nice and helpful. Didn't have to wait long at all, I think the whole endeavor was about 15 minutes. And what a beautiful phone it is :) very nice upgrade from my iPhone 5. I took away a star just because it's a very small store and there weren't many accessories to choose from. read more

Relocated from NY to TX. Made arrangements for internet service before leaving. Received emails confirming appointment and tech confirmed his arrival. Installation was smooth and tech provided ph#''s for both his supervisor and and himself. Have NEVER had to call for service. Little side note: Neighbor had Xfinity installed next door. Guy came out to bury the lines and proceeded to cut MY line. Ran out and had him remedy that pronto. Anyway, happy with service. read more

If I could have given NEGATIVE NUMBERS for ratings, I would have. If you have an issue that is anything other than a remedial one, very basic, the "manager" Christopher will not be able to assist, and will only be able to assist by hanging up on you. When calling back to ask for his superiors (District and/or Regional Managers) contact information, trust that he will begin talking over you, become defensive, will even go to the lengths of influencing other employees in the store to not answer the phone. I had to contact another ATT Corporate store who was able to give me that Kirby locations Area Managers information because Christopher was well aware that his moves were all the wrong ones, especially for someone holding a "managers" title. Seems AT&T may just need to invest a lot more screening, CUSTOMER SERVICE ETIQUETTE, damage control, and people and problem solving training before putting unqualified amateurs in those positions. Sad that another location had to offer to make a bad situation right for a customer, when it rightfully fell into this Kirby Rice Village's location to handle. Unfortunately though, because this locations upper management failed to put a proper qualified ADULT with the ability to handle REAL MANAGERIAL ISSUES, a real MANAGER at a completely different location opted to handling it when it shouldn't be this difficult for customers who have been with you for decades. Dealing with Rice Villages Christopher, was enough for me to take my monthly cell phone business carrier elsewhere, both professionally and personally. I will make it a point to spread the word of this pathetic poor experience and the Rice village location and its employees both sales reps and especially Christopher the Manager there. read more

Came here after going to another AT&T who did not have the phone that Josh wanted. The other store had called ahead to make sure they had it. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and told them what we needed. They very quickly went and got the phone. I then asked if they could throw in a car charger since we had been customers so long. The sales associate told me that he did not have the power to do that and all the managers had left at 4:30 as they do everyday. This irked me. So I said isn't that when the store is slow? Aren't you busy in the evening? He told me around 2 was their busiest time. I have a hard time believing that but whatever. But shouldn't a manager be there at all times?? Seems like weird business practices to me. He seemed nervous the whole time he was helping us but did everything we needed. He did try to sell us a case for $50 that he said would not be cheaper anywhere else. I then looked on amazon on my phone to see it was about $23 on amazon. Always give yourself at least an hour to visit AT&T. Even if you think your request is very simple. There could be someone in front of you that takes forever or its just more complicated than it needs to be. read more

I bought a new iPhone 11 Pro, from this AT&T store about 10 days ago. They helped me download, via iCloud from my old phone to my new phone. Everything seemed OK. I was pleased with their help. Unfortunately, I'm not an internet nerd:(. I had trouble connecting my new iPhone to my car and my email was not working properly. I went back to AT&T and Chris was able to correct everything for me! He even sat in my car and succeeded in connecting me to my car. It took a bit of time, but Chris was SO patient and helpful!!! Thank you, vvv much! read more

Talk about bad customer service!!!! I had bought a case from a different att store. Unfortunately my skin was sensitive to the case fabric so I could not ever use the case. As a customer i failed to read the back of the receipt to know that there was a 14 day return policy. My assumption was that like other stores there's a 30 day policy, and when it's not like my previous experiences the seller would warn the customer. I went to this store clueless of this policy, and clearly surprised to find out about the 14 days policy. The case was clearly never used... and while I was told I can't return it, the sales associate said you can exchange it. He went to the back trying to find a case for (or I thought that's what he was doing for 10 min) and came out and said my manger will be out. When the manager came out after 15 min he just said I can't exchange it. Go back to the same store they may grant it. They wasted 30 min of my time to say I can't exchange something. To me that's a poor customer service, for a manager to waste my time and not even try to help a customer just bc it was sold at a different store. At the end of the day, this is AT&T brand they are trying to promote and they are doing a horrible job. My entire family has done a lot of business with att and we've never had to return things to run into this type of service. For sure I won't make any purchase from AT&T, for not even trying to make an exception of they're customer of many years. The even exchange would have not affected this stores sell, so I recommend you doing business with another location at least... one that has a better management! I have high respect for people and businesses that have respect for their clients, and this location definitely lacks that! read more

I asked the difference between the iPhone's that she was showing me and she said "the calibration, if you don't understand that then I don't know what to tell you". Literally no help at all! I got sent the wrong phone so I called customer service and they told me to go to my nearest store and exchange it. I called ahead of time to make sure they had the phone I wanted in stock, they said they did. When I get here they tell me they don't have it in stock so I said to them "I called 10 minutes ago and you said you did." So of course he goes and they have them. Then he tells me he has to charge me a restocking fee, even though it was AT&Ts mistake. I said no absolutely not so I called customer service and had to figure everything out myself which ended with them exchanging the phone in store. No help at all had to do everything on my own. I've been in here a few times for help with my pda mobile phone. The sales reps are very nice. They have a private lot so although this is in the Village, I never have trouble finding parking. I was having issues with a short ringer and the rep spent about 45 minutes on the customer line to help me. That was awesome. And now my ringtone lasts longer than 2 rings. read more

Went to this AT&T location to upgrade an iPhone. Even before entering the store, a very nice gentleman was holding the door for us. He immediately got us to a person who could help us out. The representative that was there named Erik(c?) was a big help, got us unimaginable deals, and pointed us to the right direction. 5 stars for this place. 1 star for the AT&T store by Kirby and main st. Highly recommend this place to anyone who typically gets treated like crap at any other AT&T store location. read more

The worse service ever! I own www.surespot.com all our outdoor hardware connected to AT&T hotspots. We providing service to the fifth largest stadium in USA NRG stadium. These hotspots are not reliable and we need to go to the store every week! Imagine Coppa America game - USA vs Argentina with 82,000 fans coming in. and three gates can't process credit cards because of AT&T... The damage is tens of thousands of dollars. Furthermore I went to the store more than 15 times and they keep switching SIM cards however they keep deactivate working hotspots! Waiting hours in the line! Can't get reply to my emails. Disaster. Worst staff service. I went there to open 5 new accounts with AT&T. The guy who took my information told me they will send me a message when someone was available. There was no one else waiting but my mom and I. Two ladies from the staff were chatting and laughing and doing NOTHING but having us waiting for service. This is by far the worst AT&T retail location I have been to. I came to this location on Sunday (February 17) to get a new phone and that's where the headache began. The associate that setup my account linked my mom's home internet account and my wireless account. Mind you neither one of us are on each other's accounts. I came back to the store on Sunday once I received an email about the accounts merging and brought it to their attention. I was in the store for over an hour on Sunday waiting for them to figure out how they merged 2 separate accounts without my consent. I was told by one of the managers that he would look into it and call me back. I had to make another trip up to the store on Wednesday because my account was still messed up. I'm back in the store today to return the phone I purchased on Sunday and I have been waiting for a manager for over 20 minutes. Do yourself a favor and just go the Verizon store down the street and don't even give AT&T your money. If I could leave a negative star review I would. read more
