Once the inevitable screen crack happened to my Pixel Pro, I began shopping around immediately for places that could fix it. The absurdly high rating for this biz had me calling them immediately, in which a young man named Eid promptly quoted $250 to fix it. This was at least $50-75 cheaper than most of their competition. I agreed to it. It's a tiny shop that's next to a gas station. It looks completely run down and if it weren't for the reviews, I'd have a hard time seeing myself here. I was told that I'd be able to come pick it up in roughly 3 hours. Kudos for allowing same-day service. By the time it was ready for pickup, I came in to inspect the phone. I noticed just there are some gaps on the screen but it was responsive. Right as it became time to pay I learned they were unwilling to accept the Yelp check in offer of 10% off and would charge an additional $20 fee when deciding to use a credit card. I went out to get cash and eventually paid. When asking for a receipt, he gave me a piece of paper with some scribbles and largely illegible penmanship. Overall the repair was successful, the price was right, but the inconvenience and shoddy customer service might mean I will reconsider my business if this ever happens again. read more

I agreed to a price over the phone with the guy, and when I got there, he gave me a whole different price at the end of fixing my phone not only that my iPhone 8 was black, and the screen was cracked, and the battery was defaulted so when he came out back, everything was fixed but he gave my phone a white screen without even asking me if I was OK with that from there the next day my phone is already malfunctioning again the screen is not responding so I go back to the shop and it's a new guy, a young Indian kid with butter teeth. He was antagonizing going on and on saying that there was no transaction in the computer because the fact that the guy who fix my phone charged me 95 I told him it was 95. I went to this store to replace my iPhone's battery. The whole experience was strange, to say the least. The clerk asked me to open my iphone and immediately disappeared with it in the back room. When I was paying with my credit card, he asked for my DL and took a picture of my ID and credit card. All this left me with a strong feeling of a possible fraud. I took all the necessary protective measures against fraud, as soon as I got home. Once home I got a message on the phone that the "health" of the battery could not be determined. I called the store and spoke with Alec(?) who indicated that it was an Apple battery without a chip. I broke my iphone screen after 2.5 years of owning the phone. I brought it to Phone Repair Techs to have the screen replaced. I have had to have the screen replaced three times in three months from simply dropping the phone from a couple of feet while in its case. Either the glass they use is cheap or the iphone case they sold me is inadequate. I am taking my phone back to Apple. The aggravation of taking the phone to Phone Repair Tech REPEATEDLY is not worth the reduced cost. In follow up, i took my phone to Apple two months ago and replaced the screen.
