I have brought it back to Kimi twice - the first time he fiddled with the settings, restarted it - I was hopeful, but the problem persisted. The second time, he replaced the glass again (free of charge) and now the problem is even worse - the screen has several air bubbles and is frequently unresponsive & still turns off randomly, usually when I am working with a client and need to show images. It is also a lot darker than it should be (even at the highest brightness setting). JUST BE AWARE: that it might ruin your ipad/iphone irreperably. At your own risk.

Came in a second time to finally get it fixed. FINALLY got it fixed, the color looked OFF but I thought, its ok, I spent about $130 on this screen I can put up with that. Literally, 2 months later the screen they put on got unstuck, here im thinking, ok things happen. I brought it back to them and the rep had the audacity to tell me that it was "out of warranty". Guess they give you 30 days, but a situation where the glue is not properly applied should be outside of this period. The rep then said he would try to fix the one I had on there, I thought "ok wonderful, maybe its just reconnecting it and gluing it appropriately". He tries to look at it and then BREAKS my face ID port. Wait not done... he then says he has to ORDER the part so I have to now COME BACK to get fixed what he broke. WOW This is ridiculous that a place can provide such bad customer service. There are many other places to go, I refuse to ever go back here again. Dont always go for the cheapest service. They are helpful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. It's a nice place to go to to use their computers and printers. I go in to see them every time I have the same problem that they had explained to me once before. They don't get frustrated or upset as many stores do. They laugh with me, not at me, and are very friendly. There is no sense of judgement from them when interacting with customers. I have no qualms going there every day if necessary, which can happen often for me. Their prices are great, lower than most. They said it'd be done in 24 hours but it took 4 days and lots of excuses to get it back. 6 weeks later the screen began to fail. Another shop told me I should be able to get a new one on warranty. These guys told me to bring it to the mall so they could see the screen. The first visit, the guy said he was just filling in but gave me grief that the price I had paid ($240) was too low. He said to come back tomorrow when the owner would be there. The next day it was a kid and he said that the owner was off on weekends and that the guy in weehawkin did not work for them (even though he answered their phone and said he worked for them). Then he said he wouldn't cover the screen repair because I must have dropped it. The screen is pristine. They refused to budge. Do not use these scoundrels! The colors were off and looked terrible, and it had a chin at the bottom. I went back and paid $250 for a proper oled iPhone screen. I was happy with it. I even went back to him weeks later for a screen protector. Everything looked and worked great for 3 months until it didn't. The screen started to glitch when I set it to full brightness then it started to flash and glitch with any movement. Finally my screen just failed. An ideal place would at least have a 90-day warranty or at least try to fix it, especially for a returning customer. He definitely recognized me because I was there 3 times within the past 3 months. Who would want to come back 3 times anyways? He had no intention whatsoever to help me. I asked if he could just check on the screen but he didn't bother answering any questions or concerns. In our several visits to this location we've been told it's a "T-Mobile policy" to require the purchase of an accessory with a new phone (we called T-Mobile and, shocker, that's not a policy); that they can't take a phone back in store when you're trading in a phone (again, that's not true and the online instructions TELL YOU to take it to a store); and they police you at the door, you can't go beyond the entryway unless they confirm you're buying something so their conversion numbers look good. TL;DR - stay away from this store of scammers. Save yourself the headache and just call T-Mobile customer service.
