Absolutely horrible experience. I was switching to Verizon on my own line and went in to pick up my phone. The online experience was seamless, but upon arrival I was met with a lack of interest in assistance and told I was unable to pick up my phone there, even though Verizon offered pickup online for this location. The customer service was awful and after being told I couldn't pick up I was given no chance to ask further questions as the assistant promptly got up and went into the back to talk with his coworker. I called Verizon support and they had to cancel my order and redirect my account and pickup to a new location in Brooklyn. I would not recommend going anywhere near this location , they are not interested in helping and would rather you leave than actually take your business. Go to the Atlantic Terminal Verizon as it is a corporate location with lovely staff and quick service. read more

The store has poor customer service. It would not take an equipment drop off during opening hours. The excuse was that the system was broken. I was able to drop it off at another Verizon store 10 minutes later without issues. I get it, they prefer to sell stuff than process returns. If you need anything from Verizon, I would recommend another store where they are more honest. The one on 6th av and 11th St is great. read more

Went to return Fios equipment and pick up an order for new Fios Equipment based on VZ Customer service instructions. Both employees acted like they couldn't be bothered. There was no other customer in the store and we had to wait for the employee to get off a personal call before he would even check our order. They had nothing we needed and told us we had go to another Verizon store. They didn't even bother to call the other store to see if they had what we needed. Terrible experience. read more

I don't know who is the current owners of this facility however, they are extremely rude over priced and not professional. They literally make up the prices, according to have a feel. The previous owner was an extremely nice gentleman that was there for many years and helpful . It should be a violation with Verizon to not monitor these types of private franchises. Not to be confused with the Mobile Gay-Rue, which is the street where boys pick up boys in Paris, although it's constantly moving around (I would know, it's the only reason I go to Paris). This Verizon store is a little overpriced and I couldn't afford a wire for my phone here but the guys are friendly enough - even 2 minutes before closing so I appreciated that. But I'm not surprised they closed down because they had a chance to make some $$$ and had to try and charge me 5 times what I'd pay for the same thing online. Nope. My fiancé went here today to finally get our own plan together (and leave our parents plans). Zach was able to help us out and we were in and out relatively quick! He was able to get both of our numbers transferred over easily and didn't try to upswell any packages. We went to a Verizon store in Williamsburg earlier in the day and the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful, so we really appreciated the seamless service at this location. It was small but clean! I switched from AT&T to Verizon Wireless and regret going here to get that done. I was walking to the Apple Store but stopped here since it was closer. It was my first time not going direct or having someone from the workplace take care of my wireless account. Here is a list of issues I encountered within just 30 minutes of being here. The rep shall go unnamed ... PM me if you want more details. - the Thanksgiving rebate offer was valid through the weekend. The rep said Black Friday was the only day it was valid. I specifically asked since it was late in the day and I wanted to return during the weekend. - the rep was aggressively trying to sell heavily marked-up cases. Less than $20 on Amazon but priced at $60 here, which he was "discounting to $30 since it is getting late". I had to insist I can return for it later. - he put on a screen protector without telling me the price. I find out later that it was $40! Really? I asked them to just take it off, at which point a senior rep stepped in and said they would not charge me for it. - I clearly declined the $15/month protection plan. They seem to have gone ahead and added it anyway (for a sales commission, I suspect) as I found out on a call with a Verizon Wireless rep this morning. - There are a number of questionable charges on the itemized bill that I asked for when I was leaving. Setup charges $40, programming fee $10, SIM charge $30. The Verizon rep today was surprised and apologetic. - A few other annoyances. They told me about a billing discount for being a combined Verizon Fios and wireless customer. Verizon informed me that offer expired three weeks ago! And the rep misspelled my name and got my street address wrong. Yes, dealers have to make money too. But make it the honest way. read more

Such a terrible store!!! Please avoid it as much as you can!!! I had a bad experience in this store. The lady who works there apparently didn't know what she is doing. She gave me the SIM card which is not working on my phone. When I came back for the refund, she rolled her eyes and said no refund! So I spent $32 for her error. Worst customer service I've ever seen!!! I would give it zero star if I could!!!! Also, that lady was so unprofessional. She was apparently not working. She was playing her phone by watching the video with very loud sounds. She even didn't turn it off when we were there. Please, the owner please train your employees with at least some basic working ethic. And it is unbelievable that the people working there don't know what they are doing!!! I went in as my SIM chip was not working. The male associate could not figure out what the problem was and gave me all kinds excuses and finally asked me to call Verizon on my cellular, which struck me as odd since I was in a verizon store. A different associate was helping a customer at the time and when she was done, she asked me if I needed help. She basically told me to hang up the phone and said she will help me, In which she did. It took her less than 10 minutes and my issue was resolved. The associates name is Raven. She knew her stuff! I will not go to anyone but her. Extremely helpful, highly informative and super accommodating making sure I was well taken care of and satisfied before I left. Thank god for her, she saved my phone/business. A guru this man is not. He wasn't aware that Verizon supports eSIM, and when he activated my iPhone, he screwed up the account so massively (wrong IMEI, wrong SIM, etc.) that it wouldn't work. I finally gave up on his incompetence, went home, and worked it out with Verizon directly. Also, he charged me $20 for a SIM I didn't need and that typically is free with activation anyhow. I've purchased a lot of phones over the years, and this was by far the easiest, most pleasant and informative experience I've had. Nicholas Czar was really superb. He was knowledgeable for sure, but more importantly he enthusiastically engaged with me about the technology (hardware and spectrum) and learned what I had, liked and wanted. There was no hard selling of anything, just an enthusiastic, phone-lovers discussion that I prompted and wanted. With that done, Nicholas helped me get the phone choice I wanted, which included calling around other stores and having the specific color/model brought to the store immediately. He then helped with all data transfer and set up, so the experience was really seamless. No joke--later in the day my 12yr old and I had a problem with his iPhone at the Apple store, and we just popped back to Nicholas and bought our second phone of the day--a Samsung. Same experience. Funny, smart, informed and with the ability to engage equally with a young adult as well as an old(er) one. The other staff I meet there seemed really good as well with other clients, but as long as Nicholas is there I really can't imagine getting a phone anywhere else now. read more

I walked in with a screen protector which I had bought externally, but I normally handle all of my verizon inquiries here. A young lady helped me, KNOWING that I had not purchased the protector there, but considtently refer to them for Verizon related business. Furthermore, she was courteous to my friend who was also a verizon customer.. she was kind, and he also had questions about an upgrade. I have seen many a rude businessman/(woman) walk in and out of this place as if they own it. They were nonetheless patient and direct with said individuals. Liars and cheats. I brought in my cell phone because is wasn't getting texts. They took it into the back room and came out a few minutes later telling me they ran diagnostics and the antenna was broken. I later turned it off then on again, and it worked just fine. Next they sold me a new phone with a promise that it had at $240 rebate. That also turned out to be a lie, as Verizon later confirmed for me. read more

They taught us all about the new devices and helped us with every part of the transfer. Nick and Israel were so extraordinary and knew so much about this process and the company.
