If it were possible, to give NO stars I would. Husband is an AT & T customer, has been for about three years. I purchased an unboxed phone via Amazon and only needed to be ADDED to the account, and my phone turned on with a sim card, and transfer contacts etc. The moment we walked in, we should have walked OUT. Three I guess "employees" running around with a total of three customers in there like chickens with their heads cut off. We had come in an hour before and decided to come back. We did, and the SAME CUSTOMERS were still there when we came before. The proclaimed "assistant manager" we ended up with, was SO unprofessional it wasn't funny. Apparently he was the only one with a brain there that day, as the others were constantly interrupting him to ask questions, while the customer infront of him continued to wait. We waited for ONE HOUR..in line......finally our turn, and the "assistant manager" couldn't stop and just get us out of there, he continued to go back and forth podium to podium, in the middle of us trying to get our switch done. Six or more times that occurred and finally my husband had had enough. He calmly tapped the guy on the shoulder when for the SEVENTH time he walked away from us in the middle of talking. Said we have been here for over an hour, and you keep constantly leaving us and coming back, its rude and we need to get out of here. Then was when the self proclaimed "ASSISTANT MANAGER" got his undies in a twist and freaked out saying we could leave and go to Soldotna, it was only 15 minutes away, and that HE was busy with his co workers because clearly they had NO idea what the hell was going on in their own jobs with their own customers. After that, the child came back to the podium, my husband and he finished the transaction, FINALLY, after almost 1-1/2 hours later. Talk about a bad bad assistant manager who is about as unprofessional as you get. ZERO ability to understand that when a customer is in front of you..THEY ARE YOUR JOB...not the phone calls, not the other employees.....they are. This little man needs to have his ashes hauled over the HR coals because he clearly has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS nor does he know how to time manage. I'm sorry, I have worked in many jobs training people, within the public in customer service in the medical field...and you do not treat people like this. EVERYONE READING THIS....GO TO SOLDOTNA...this store has low quality employees with bad attitudes that have no idea what they are doing.
