Took the new promo for galaxy s4 and get a new tablet with it, I have the phone but still no tablet, wtf?? I was told I have to wait a few days as they were on backorder, I say ok. Got the phone on nov 17 and today is nov 27. They could make a new one in that amount of time. If you have a promotion, makes sense to have enough tablets on hand. Sad day for ATT. read more

My phone stopped charging on vacation. I ordered another. Promised next day, with a free notebook. I spent about 2 hours per day either on line, or with AT &T Customer Service, for 5 or 6 days. No phone. My bill has always been paid, for about 30 years. My business is through my phone. I am suffering financially because they have not sent a phone. Leaving east coast now, going home, traveling without a phone. Disgusted. I will cancel ATand T, Direct TV, and not recommend anymore. read more

AT&T overall has become one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. They will say anything to get the sale. Then you discover you have lousy signal most of the time and carry on a conversation with most people because your voice fades out and the call just disconnects constantly. People think I've hung up on them all the time. It's embarrassing and reflects on myself and my own business poorly!! AT&T blames SIM cards and changes them out but then screwed that up and disconnected my daughters phone for seven hours. She almost lost her job because of being unreachable during a medical emergency. No apologies. Then they made me feel guilty for having an old phone so I put myself in debt and bought new iPhone X's. Buy one get one free through Costco. Didn't fix my problem in the least. Now I've finally decided to dump AT&T after 20 years of loyalty and find I am stuck. Three new phone deal cancels and I have to pay $900 for BOTH phones in order to go elsewhere. Wasn't that clever of AT&T. If you see a super upset customer is about to leave get them to do something that locks them in like jail!!! DONT BUT AT&T. I pay $200 a month for something g that never works and they can't do anything about it. No other business could actually stay in business with this kind of ethics! read more

Never really had a issue here, just hate that I walk in even with a simple return and I still have to be checked in and wait for a return. It wasn't a phone return just a case. Other than that no problem. I also can't figure out why they won't answer the phone during the day? read more

Called ahead to be assured that I could switch my account from Verizon to AT&T. Spoke to a lady who assured me it would be easy. I'd get a credit for my old phone as well as a credit for switching. When I arrived they got to me pretty quickly. I informed them of the conversation and the rep seemed to understand. This is where it starts to go down hill. After the phone activation I asked when id be credited the amounts told to me by the person on the phone. I was informed I was getting NOTHING! I could only get that if I agreed to a "next plan". When I asked for the manager she was unapologetic. Judy, seemed to lack basic customer service know how. I asked her what could be done and she just said "nothing". I spent over an hour at the store to get nothing except a trip back to Verizon to reactivate my account because AT&T canceled it. This is not a place to go. Trust me. read more

My husband and I went into the store to update our phones and transfer me over from Verizon, Dustin helped us out, great personality and definitely didn't take forever like it usually seams when you update your phones. The day we went in there, there weren't any deals for the new iPhone we asked if a new deal was to come out if we can get, and he informed us it would have to be within the return day policy and a few days later a new deal came out and he did all of the paperwork for us to get the deal and saved us so much money. That to me is the greatest customer service, very happy he helped us!! :) read more

So a few months ago I traded in my S7 Edge for the S8+ loved it except i've been having battery issues where my phone dies in 2 hours, doesn't charge, and overheats. Long story short I called AT&T Customer Service Call Center - which by the way was AWFUL customer service and they directed me to the store for a warranty claim, they advised after the store ran a diagnostic and confirmed there was no physical or water damage to the phone to call back in and they would submit the warranty claim. I did as they said and called back and the rep that answered was obnoxious and refused to process my claim. Dustin went above and beyond and told us to hang up and he processed my warranty claim, he also assisted us with pre-ordering my boyfriends Note 8. I've been assisted by Dustin many times while doing business with AT&T and he is always very informative and provides excellent customer service. Just wanted to recognize his superior customer service, his effort, and thank him for keeping us as customers today because I was definitely losing my patience. Thanks again! read more

I just moved to Manteca and was looking for an AT&T store. This one was close to my house. Me and my family came in the other night and had the worst experience ever at an AT&T store the guy was very rude and talked to us like we were stupid. When it came to asking about the phones he told us to go look at other stores! I was wanting to buy a new phone from there not target. This guy was a joke never go and deal with Kenneth C. I have never been more upset..first we went to upgrade my sisters phone for her and she used my moms upgrade no big deal. Then they told us we had to switch the SIM card in my moms phone? (Not the line we were upgrading?) so we got two new SIM cards? Anyway we told the lady helping us that we had really important voicemail's on the phone from my dad who passed away 2 years ago and would it affect those in any way? She assured us it wouldn't and all the voicemail's would still be there. Once we realized they were gone my mom started to tear up trying not to cry. She was perplexed at why they weren't there and tried to see if she could fine them. Asked her supervisor and he said they were gone for good! Obviously we were devastated.. My husband took me back that evening where we told them what happened to see if anything could be done to retrieve the precious voicemail's and the young lady trying to help asked her "managers" and they were rude and cold and said nope their gone. I told them they should inform all of their employees that this happens as they are the reason they are gone (explaining why they were so important) all while never looking at me straight on says "oh yeah sorry" I had to walk about as I burst into tears. My mom went back today as her is screwed up every since the original girl touched it and they blew her off saying its not their fault! I will NEVER go back to this store and I am looking into spending my money elsewhere read more

Customer service is TERRIBLE!! The rep that met me at the door (I failed to get her name) acted as if I was bothering her trying to get information about updating my phone. I walked out within 5 minutes of the contact. Called the manager to complain and she wasn't anymore helpful. They really need training in customer service. Go anywhere else. This store has the worst customer service ever! Employees are always standing around doing nothing while you wait. I went there re: home Internet. I spoke to 4 people who told me it wouldn't be any problem but they were not there to assist people, I had to wait for another employee. Once I was finally helped by an employee he told me that they don't offer home Internet in Manteca. Why do you advertise it in your store in Manteca if you don't offer it? Also why didn't the 4 employees whom I spoke to about home Internet say anything! So irritating. read more

went into the store three times to buy a new iphone on one of my lines and the process would not work. The manager (Mathew Boucher) said we had a super secret security on our account that would not let us buy a new phone. turns out they have a glitch in there software which would have been okay if he wasn't such a jerk about it and hadn't called me a liar. I have 19 phones on this account and have been with at for over 15 years but with employees like Mathew i am looking to dump ATT and find any other service. As long as Mathew is the manager in this store i would recommend shopping elsewhere. read more

Awful customer service at the store. I walked in to discuss an issue I had not being able to make a 911 call in a 10 year old home development. The response from the rep on a Friday night was "well you may not be able to make a call in all locations, I explained to the rep that I was within the Manteca City Limits, he comparison was to a cave, that if I was in a cave I would not be able to get a connection to a tower! If he could read my mind, I said you are comparing a medical emergency call falling to being in a cave? Not even the 911 dispatcher could reach me. The rep told me that Manteca is Verizon territory, oh really, well, thank you and goodbye. Called ATT the rep was not much better. Cancelled service went to Verizon. read more

I went in to have my screen protector replaced & had been told by the manager they would replace it for up to a year. The guy that waited on me said this manager did not tell you that - he said I would have to go on line to get it replaced. I said that is not what the MGR said. He said well this MGR didn't tell me that. I went & talked directly to him - he said he didn't remember & needed my receipt. I told him his employee kept the receipt to cover her error of having to do it 3 times. He then said he would replace it & pulled off the plastic. He said I didn't get the bodyguard here -this isn't our product. When he examined further he saw that the screen saver was still on. - After calling me a lier. He did apologise, but only after I coached him to do so. Both the manager & the guy that waited on me basically called me a lier, not just once, but several times. read more

This review is a combination of this store and AT&T customers service. I came into this location last year 12/21/17 and purchased 3 items that were going to be an installment plan for 12 months. It was 2 charges and a google home. The lady was nice and the help was great. I called earlier this morning to AT&T customer service to see how much I had left until it dropped from my bill since it was been almost a year. This gentleman goes on to tell me "Well I see here you started paying last month so you have 11 months to go", I told him excuse me? He goes on to tell me that someone from the store went into my account and "stopped the payments and started them again last month". While so many things are running through my head, THEN WHAT HAVE I BEEN PAYING FOR THE LAST YEAR???? IF IT HASNT BEEN GOING TO THAT?? He told me he had to call the store and figure it out with them and I told him to check my bills for the last year. Because the last year since December when I went into the Manteca location it says I've been saying off that installment. So I'm now telling him how to do his job. Mind you now this call is reaching 40 minutes. Then he clicks back on after me being on hold and continues to tell me "okay now this month 12/2018 will be your last payment any questions how was your service on this call today". Completely horrible. I was thinking of adding another line + purchasing a phone with you guys again but I won't tell with this location or service again. I will be switching services. read more

I received a replacement iphone in the mail and brought the new iphone and my broken iphone to this location as I work in Manteca. I was greeted by someone that pointed me in the correct direction where another employee greeted me as well. I explained that I had a new iphone that I wanted to activate and sync my contacts and activate a new email account. The employee said that all that the store could do was sync contacts and that was it. I would have to do the rest in itunes. When I got home to do this, the phone wasn't even activated. I am totally incapable of reading and putting into action any of the many things that I want to do with my new IPhone but he was very patient, and with me that is very important, and helped me more than I could have ever hoped for. Lets face it NOBODY ever enjoys a trip to the AT&T Store, but since I had to go in for company accounts, this was perhaps the easiest trip I've made into a service provider store thus far. Unfortunately I showed up at 9am because the store I used to visit in Reno was always open at 9 am, and was a bit grumpy to see that this store doesn't open until 10am :( ... but that isn't necessarily anyone at this particular stores fault; I just assumed that AT&T had consistent hours for all of their stores, and I should have checked ahead of time. Frank was my representative that assisted me, we have accounts with both Verizon and AT&T and have been dealing with tricky issues for switching over accounts, cancelling accounts, information about new phones, cancellation fees, phone fees, fees, fees, fees, in all reality, it is INSANE that companies get away with murder for technology fees, but.... Frank has all the answers to my questions, got one of our accounts switched over, waived a transfer fee, and had information on the tablets we are interested in purchasing. All in all this was a pretty stress free trip to the AT&T store, and I will definitely be asking for Frank the next time I go back! read more

I wish I could give this store less than 1 star, but I guess that's not an option. I went to my local Manteca AT&T store for the first and last time today for help with my disabled, nonfunctional phone (it's less than 6 months old). I was immediately given the "not our problem" line. Coupled with the condescending and patronizing manner in which the salesperson spoke to me the whole time, the whole experience left me angry and frustrated with the entire situation. Handled differently, this could have easily just been a simple customer service visit and I would have left knowing that I had to go to the Stockton "courtesy" warranty location without the anger and frustration I feel now. Instead, because I was treated with such a disrespectful and patronizing attitude by the salesperson there, I'm just simply angry. I will never visit that store again. I will happily make the drive to another city to avoid dealing with the sales reps at that location. read more
