I came into this store because my phone screen was not working. Alina and Dante were so helpful and nice. I was there close to closing and they were very patient with me. When the store was suppose to close my phone still wasnt fully restored and they stayed late so I can make sure everything would transfer over. I did end up having to leave my phone overnight but I was very thankful they did that for me. When I got to the store the next day Alina was there ready, she made sure I was satisfied with the transfer and that we were able to do a hard reset on my old phone. Went in for an exchange on a phone i wasn't crazy about that i bought the week prior. Justin was amazingly helpful and personable. He made the process as painless and quick as possible. So bought an iPhone 8plus at the Meriden mall att, they Sold me a 110$ life proof case for 7plus ensuring me it would work the same, it totally diminished quality of calls and audio, I called life proof they said att lied, the case is not compatible, I went back to the store well within 30 days thinking I was good to exchange it, after the associate asked the store manager FONZI, he said 14days and they wouldn't do anything at all for me, ( even tho this was there guy that sold me the case saying it was no problem).. horrible customer service, there goes 110$, I'll never step foot in there again , FONZI could have been understanding, to my situation, however burnt a bridge with a customer for life, once out of my contracts, 3 lines .. If I could give zero stars, I would. In June 2021 I ended up switching from my previous carrier to AT&T FirstNet which is a service for first responders. I was talked into a bundle with 3 devices/lines that included a Galaxy s21 phone, smart watch, and tablet. The service didn't work well at my home so the store changed the Sim card, but it didn't help. I ended up returning all devices and canceled the plan before the 14 day grace period. They refunded the activation fee and waived the restocking fee. I left the store being told everything was all set and I owed nothing. From then until now, mid October it's been nothing but issues that should have been resolved the day I returned the equipment. I kept getting a bill for $799 for the S21 phone I had already returned and canceled service on.  I've had 2 calls with FirstNet that took an hour each, at least 3 calls to the AT&T store and 4 in person visits attempting to resolve this over the past few months. Every time I would speak with Chad (store manager) he would tell me he took care of it, but the issue persisted. I asked for documentation in writing from the store but Chad refused and instead told his colleague to re-print receipts showing the equipment was previously returned. Yesterday, I received 4 calls from a collection agency threatening to submit a negative report to credit bureaus if I didn't make a payment towards the phone I don't have. As of today FirstNet (after another hour long phone call) says they have manually adjusted the account and sent me an email. I would never ever recommend dealing with this company or store after the unnecessary drama and waste of time I've had to deal with. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and if my credit is impacted because of their negligence and ignorance I will also be filing a law suit. My husband went in to buy a new phone on an existing plan & the reps talked us into getting a new tablet. Right off the bat we explained that we didn't want additional expenses costing more than the plans we already had, we had a computer at home already & didn't need the expense of two. Rep kept pushing & said she would apply a special credit that would cover the cost of carrying the service for the tablet, it was a promotion & they were literally giving us a tablet for $1. There were two women working & they both assured us that we would be spending no additional money & our bill would remain at $178. Seemed too good be true to get a tablet for $1.... Because it was! Bill came & we went from $178 to over $200 a month. I give this rating two stars only because ATT service (over the phone-not in store) was able to change our plan & put us back at $178 & keep the tablet, but we had to downgrade our data plans to keep the cost down. Felt to totally duped to find out we were lied to when we got our bill AFTER the return policy time period ended. Caution-it's really not a FREE tablet. Don't get scammed!! read more

Had a bad experience with this location. We came here one night because the Middletown location had terrible weekend hours. After adding 2 smartphones and upgrading our family plan we got a bill for almost double the amount quoted and no one on the customer service line had any answers for us so we went back to the store. The "manager" got frustrated because we came in clearly upset and hid out in the back until the rep who sold us everything had time to talk to us. As the manager was it not her job to try to diffuse the situation or at least assist us in understanding our bill and monthly payments? Left still not knowing what's up with our bill but promised it would be $110 less next month. Only time will tell.. Beware of the "installment billings" on phones. read more
