My Mother's Day gift was a remote starter, and I added on new fog lights as well. I couldn't be happier, everything was a bit pricey but you get the quality you pay for. I hate my car, except in this climate when you have a reliable car, it's smarter and cheaper to keep it. My 2019 Infiniti didn't have apple CarPlay. I was told it had something "just as good", which was utter BS. I drive far to work and don't want to text and drive. Mobile Electronics SAVED me. They installed apple CarPlay into my car and it's seamless! I haven't picked my phone up to text once! NOW I hate my car less and I should be able to keep it until these inflated car prices drop. I had horrible service when dealing with Mobile Electronics. I brought my car here for my interior lights that were already installed to get checked out. They charged me 100.00 to diagnose the problem and so call "fix the problem". Notice that there was rust in my light's remote control and to alleviate that he jus replaced the battery. Not even a week later my interior floor lights are not working again. I call them back to see if there was anything they can do to fix the problem and see if they could order a new remote and they were not helpful. What is more frustrating is I drove a half an hour to receive services from them and was ripped off 100.00 for a problem that is still unresolved under a weeks time. read more

I had been looking for a place to install a purchased car stereo and came across the Mobile Electronics website. I made a call in the early morning and was able to get an appointment later that day. Went into the store and saw a nice display of various mobile electronic equipment. I was greeted with a smile and they set off to work on my vehicle. The waiting area was comfortable, wifi was available so I could work while they installed the stereo. A certain time was allotted for the install, but they ran into some compatibility issues, as it was an older model vehicle. They kept me informed along the way with what was going on, and eventually the issue was resolved. They were very courteous, did not charge any extra for the issues they ran into, and did a great job with the install. Good customer service, clean waiting environment, appears a broad selection of audio devices for a multitude of vehicle types. Okay, so here's the story... I bought a whole bunch of car stereo equipment. Good stuff, Alpine, Boston Acoustics, Kicker. I needed 4 speakers and a head unit installed, so I walked in and asked them how much it would cost. He walked to my car and took a look at everything and gave me quote of $150 for everything. I thought that was pretty reasonable, so I went ahead and did it. 3 weeks later... No sound coming out of the system. Everything is on, just no sound. So i call them up and ask if they could take a look at it to see what the issue was, seeing as they had just installed everything. He said "no problem bring it down anytime" so I did. I wait about 45 minutes and they come out and tell me its a problem with the inline fuse coming from the battery. So I asked how much it would be to fix, and he told me "I'll do everything today for $100, so that's only $40 on top of the $60 you owe already." I said "What $60?" They wanted to charge me $60 for a diagnostic. I would have no problem with this, only they NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING about charging me for the day. I figured they would be looking at their work, making sure everything was intact, so it wouldn't cost anything. (The tech told me initially they have a lifetime warranty on their work). So now they put me in a predicament where I either pay them $60 to get my keys back from them and drive off with a non-working stereo, or I pay them $100 to get it fixed. NOT COOL. I argued with them for about 20 minutes. They wouldn't see the error of their ways. They have horrible business ethics. They could have come out after checking their work and told me that nothing was wrong and it would be $60 to look further into the issue, but no. They just went ahead and did the diagnostic, which I never agreed to. I did the math, and it would be like $70 just for the parts, so the $100 price tag wasn't bad to have the issue done, but the point is that they failed to communicate a charge with me and made me pay it when i never agreed to it. I'm 19 and a full time student. I didn't even have the money on me to pay the $60 for the diag, so I had to call one of my parents to come bail me out of the situation. Overall, they fixed the issue for $100. But that was $100 i shouldn't have had to spend on that day. Get this - now the whole left side of my stereo doesn't have sound coming out. Great. I'm going right back there and they are going to fix it. I work in services. If you need to charge somebody for a service, you'd better make sure they know they are being charged. Otherwise they have no legal commitment to pay. Their excuse for not telling me about the charge? They (and I QUOTE) "get tired towards the end of the day and sometimes don't bother walking out to tell the customer about the diagnostic charge." Lazy, horrible business practices. read more

I recently had bought a pioneer avh-p3300bt head unit and decided to get it professionally installed and took it to Mobile Electronics. They told me I'd need some extra parts and said had them in stock and installed it in the same day. It took roughly about 2 hours to install, but the receiver looks as if it was factory status and these guys definitely know what they're doing. I'm very pleased with them. read more

I have and would continue to recommend Mobile Electronics to whomever is looking for tints and audio installation. I dealt with Doug, who I will add is extremely professional, fair and genuine. I received a very fair quote for tints on my Subaru which came out great. I have had z-e-r-o issues with the tints bubbling, fading or anything else that could possibly happen to them. Unfortunately, when they completed the tints I had to do some detailing to get whatever spray they used off the dash and around the windows. Not a huge issue and the 10 minutes it took me to clean the car was worth the happiness the tints have brought me. I brought a sub and amp to these guys and said, "can you make this all work without me seeing anything by the sub?" He looked at it, I'm sure he tested it... and asked when I wanted to carry out the deed. I gave him a date, he gave me a price and we proceeded. The price for installation was very fair and I couldn't imaging getting a better price somewhere else. After seeing their work with my tints I was confident I would achieve the same or similar results. They installed a knob so I could control the bass under the dash on the L side of the wheel (which I would 100,000,000,000,000% recommend if you ever want to adjust it, get it just how you like it, and turn it off if your not feeling it). After he showed me the system, I was literally and figuratively blown away. It sounded and looked great. Everything was tucked away, I asked him for about 1.5 feet of slack on the sub so I could slide it to the side if I needed to load something into my car and it was done perfectly. The quality is unbeatable and I would take any car to them to have work done. They do great work, they're reasonably priced, I would recommend them any day. read more

Paul and his crew are good people who do great work. It's now 10+ years I've been going there, and I've never been disappointed. They are always accommodating on schedule, reasonable on price, and perhaps best of all I trust in their integrity. They've always listened to me and found the right product to fit my needs without trying to up/over sell me. And from the time they start the install until the final follow-up call I receive, (and appreciate) about a week later they constantly reiterate their commitment to customer service and willingness to stand behind their work. I've never had to test the latter because they always get it right the first time, but when I have stopped in with questions or for further operating instructions they've been terrific. Worst experience. I just bought a 2017 Hyundai Tucson a week ago and I immediately made and appointment to have my windows tinted. This was my first time ever getting a car tinted and a friend had nothing but good things to say about mobile electronics. I dropped my car off at 8AM and went to work. I called at about 1:30 and was told my car would be ready by 3:30 - awesome! I get out of work at 5 and come right down to get my car. My car was NOT ready. I was told it would be ready in another 5-10 mins. I WAS THERE FOR 2 AND A HALF HOURS! In the end, they couldn't do my tints because the passenger side kept bubbling and I can only assume because they were rushing. I was very disappointed also because my car was destroyed by the spray for the tints. There was over-spray all in my car, and all over my beige cloth seats. When I got home I had to detail the whole inside of my car because it was so bad. Definitely looking for a different place to get my windows tinted. Just very disappointed. read more

I spoke with several car audio places and none of them listened to my needs. And they all tried to oversell me. Except for Steve at Mobile Electronics. He took the time to determine my needs, what kind of music I listened to and he promised to keep my Subaru WRX as stock as possible. He helped me put together a system that fit my budget and sounded way better than all the overpriced products other retailers were trying to cram down my throat. Steve had the patience and desire to make sure the system sounded as good as possible. I am very impressed with Steve's professionalism and attention to detail.
