He was able to save me about 20.00 per month, not what i was hoping for but better than a sharp stick in the eye. The quote i got totaled about 158.00 per month, imagine my surprise when my first bill, that i received was for more than twice that amount, somewhere around $350.00 when i called to question it i was told it was because of the activation fees, the insurance, and something called Next up. None of which was discussed and none of which appears on the quote they gave me. i am in the process of weighting my options and if i cant get to the number quoted i will more than likely go back to my original carrier . i am still under the trial period for another 6 days. Not only that but much of the info from my old phone was lost after spending about 4 hours in the store on the initial day i was there and then had to go back for more transfer time the following day for another 2 hours. On top of it all the ATT internet that i wanted to trial did not work out and when i went to return it to the store.....oh no could not take it there, which would be easy for me the customer, i had to take it either to UPS or Fedex...... Make sure you get all the little extras they like to slap you with in writing. You know that sharp stick in the eye I mentioned above...well that bill is it! Very bad taste in my mouth with ATT at this point. Update: met with the store manager a nice young guy, who i think said his name was Alfi....forgive me if i got that wrong. Reviewed the bill and the quote, told him that i expect the bill to match the quote not be 2 1/2 times higher . Told him that during my call with alex at ATT customer service that they told me that the store could credit the activation fees with a note on the account,. Suggested he call customer service to find out how to do. He is supposed to call me with an update. UPDATE: The store manager did call me back and said there was nothing more he could do other than what the customer service folks did ior me already, which was to degrade my plan and remove an extra that i did not know about or ask for. When i asked him if he had spoken to his customer service department he said he had not and i suggested that he call them and see if in fact he could waive the activation fees as they said, he was going to do that, that was Wednesday afternoon its now almost noon time on Thursday. I think he is trying to run out the trial period clock. i called him, no answer, left a VM.

I waited over 15 minutes and no one ever came, not even a call back. I left and went to a corporate AT&T and the experience was VERY different. This location is an authorized dealer and it seems it's not being ran according to true company standards. I tell everyone I know not to go there if possible. Save yourself the hassle and maybe opt to go to another location.

But AT&T rejected my old phone. I left and got another phone. On my second visit, our previous transaction wasn't cancelled and he couldn't start a new one so he had to call Customer Service. Oops! They don't open for another 30 minutes at 11am. I leave. I return a half hour later for my third visit. He calls customer service. Oops! They are down for service maintenance. Come back in an hour. He recommends waiting two and returning. I LIVE A HALF HOUR AWAY! I can't drive all over Massachusetts for a stupid cell phone transfer that won't happen. I smarten up and call ahead before my fourth visit, two hours later, and I ask if the transaction has been cancelled. Oops! He hasn't called them yet. He puts me on hold. I hang up. My family and I went into the store and were immediately greeted with a handshake from the manager, Chris, good guy. We had very specific questions and I'm a demanding customer and the representative, Manny, who assisted my family was able to answer all of our questions in detail and was patient and courteous. We weren't ready to make the jump yet so we left to think about it. We were back in the store two hours later, we took them up on one of their awesome family plan deals they just announced. My parents both got their first starter phones, I chose to buy mine online for less from Ebay and am waiting to receive it, but so far AT&T service has been reliable on my T-mobile LG G2. Anyways, the representative, also named Chris, that helped us the second time was knowledgeable, friendly and Insanely patient with my mother and I. I couldn't thank them enough for their professionalism and patience. We are happy with our new phones and plan and are looking forward to the service. I want to point out that I was able to remember the employees names in the store because my experience was so positive at this location.

I was with my wife and mother in law and 2 of us wanted to upgrade phones but the plan is in the 3rd persons name. They had ZERO customers but 3 employees so they said only 2 of us could go in. If you can only hold 6 people why are 4 people working?!? Then we were told that everything we wanted to do (trade in a phone, get a phone etc) all needed to be done on line and it was said in a very dismissive way. When we asked questions we were basically met with answers they would come from a 5 year old saying "BECAUSE". No sympathy, no understanding and no additional help or suggestions. I will NOT be back to this location and if AT&T wants things done online then maybe they should close the retail locations, save on overhead and lower their prices.
