DO NOT COME HERE! This is not truly a Verizon store!…read more I had the worst experience ordering a mobile hotspot here. I came in on a Sunday and placed the order and picked it up Wednesday. I asked the store rep here to activate it in store to confirm that it worked. He could not get it working and sent me with it to the true Verizon corporate store on route 1 across from Target. I should have gone to this legit corporate store to begin with. At the corporate store, they confirmed that the hotspot I received from the 1230 Ave location was defective and provided me with a new hotspot that was set up in less than 10 minutes. Then I had to return the original hotspot to the original location 1230 Newport Ave )because the true Verizon store could not process a return from this third party retailer) and had the WORST experience. It was a HUGE hassle where even the store rep was hung up on and disconnected repeatedly while attempting to process the return with the other company reps. Everything required multiple approval codes and calls and escalations. I wasted so much time at this store when I could have just done everything at the true, corporate location on route 1. Despite the Verizon signs everywhere, be advised that this 1230 Newport Ave location is not actually a true Verizon store with full service capabilities. While the reps here tried to be helpful this was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a cell phone store and would completely discourage anyone from even setting foot inside this store! Even the rep was super frustrated with his own company! It took literally over an hour to process a return and it was extremely frustrating that even the store reps could not work with their corporate contacts and system. I wrote this whole review while living through this hellish experience. AVOID this place and go to the corporate location on Route 1. This was the worst!

This place is a 'mixed bag' as far as trying to write a review. The store is large, wide, clear…read moreaisles and has a generous amount of parking out front. There is plenty of stock in many areas. Social media influencer in need of a light ring? They have those. Need office furniture? They have a pretty big selection. Files? Paper? Laundry detergent? Canned air? Basically most everything you could want to organize or run a business is here. Five stars for inventory. The other side of that coin is there is no one available to help. You have to wander around the store and hope you stumble upon what you are looking for. Yes, there are signs, but under what category do you shelf a 'ring light' for example? Is the water cooler under 'water' 'cooler' 'office equipment'? One person was working the print area. We didn't bother them, they were busy. The one person at the register was surly. We all have bad days, but this person was not an example of customer facing professionalism. Didn't speak unless absolutely necessary and that was just the spiel corporate tells them to say. We needed a large cart to move a box from the back of the store. He just pointed to the regular shopping carts. At check out there was no interaction other than 'do you want insurance'. So zero stars for customer service. Not a big deal. They have a nice selection and if we are looking for something they carry we'll stop in again. It just would have been nice to share a bit of friendly interaction with a fellow human being but, whatever.

I had created some posters for the business online and was just picking them up in store. But Luca (hope I spelled it right) was working the printing services area. I picked up my posters and I had asked him how much would he charge to laminate my uncle's obituary card, he quickly grabbed it and took care of it. I really appreciated how he handled it with care and told me don't worry about the cost that he would take care of it, this means so much to me as this is important to me and I didn't want it to be damaged. Luca was very sweet and left a lasting impression on me. I really hope Luca gets some praise for making my day and for being so kind, but also being a great employee. Making sure I loved the posters and showing them to me and also doing that favor for me with my uncle's obituary. Lucas customer service was on point and I appreciate it so much. I will for sure be doing ALL of my printing services for the business from now on, here! All thanks to Luca!
