I've never had great service at this store even prior to covid but I just made a trip to the mall only to goto this store. They have a sign that says limited to 6 people in the store. I was with my wife and mother in law and 2 of us wanted to upgrade phones but the plan is in the 3rd persons name. They had ZERO customers but 3 employees so they said only 2 of us could go in. If you can only hold 6 people why are 4 people working?!? Then we were told that everything we wanted to do (trade in a phone, get a phone etc) all needed to be done on line and it was said in a very dismissive way. When we asked questions we were basically met with answers they would come from a 5 year old saying "BECAUSE". No sympathy, no understanding and no additional help or suggestions. I will NOT be back to this location and if AT&T wants things done online then maybe they should close the retail locations, save on overhead and lower their prices. I will not shed a tear when this store closes along with the rest of the emerald square mall. Good bye and good riddance read more

I wish I had went to this store sooner. They are considered a corporate store for AT&T. I literally spent from 5 pm yesterday to 10 pm yesterday dealing with porting a phone and Apple Watch series 3. No one knew what to do when calling the at&t customer service line - until one individual told me to "try the store." The man there in 3 seconds flat said that my past provider locked my watch which they weren't supposed to. But no one at the customer service level and technical support or the porting department knew this at the toll free number? Makes you wonder. This place will save you hours of being bounced at the toll free number level. (Which they had continually given me wrong info on the toll free line.) They know the equipment and can troubleshoot very quickly at this store. Will go to them instead of dealing with the hassle of att customer service /tech support line. read more

Jamie of your Emerald Square Mall / North Attleborough, MA store went above/beyond my customer service expectations. She not only assisted me/my wife in the purchase of an Apple iPhone SE for my elderly mother on a Wednesday evening but then assisted me on the phone several times the next day (Thursday) with my attempt to move my mother's tracfone number to the new iphone. I succeeded on Thursday PM and she called my on that Friday unsolicited to make sure that I was successful. I will definitely purchase future AT&T products from that store read more

Located in the Emerald Square Mall... what a disaster. I've attempted this location twice and not even sure why I gave it the second chance. Staff is condescending. It's definitely not convenient to get to being its inside the mall and not even on the first floor. The staff pushes back on you to see if you've tried calling the ATT customer service number first, visiting Apple store, etc just to try get out of doing what you need. I went in to have my phone number switched on my phone and received NO help. Was told to just call ATT customer service number on my own time and do it... gee, thanks. ATT over in Lincoln is AMAZING with customer service so I'll drive the few extra miles. read more

First off let me emphysive the point that I never ever even write reviews on anything, but the experience I just had was absolutely awful that I had to share. Me and my boyfriend went into this store for a phone upgrade, it's Christmas Eve so we were very excited to have new phones for Christmas. We began getting assistance from Jarrod, a man who even told us how he didn't even want to be there in the first place. He spent a long time upgrading our phone and when he was done with all of the paperwork he told us he basically didn't have the time to set it up for us. I clearly could tell he was just trying to rush us out of the store, a store that was completely empty and not even busy. I told him I just wanted to make sure my SIM card was going to work first... And guess what? It didn't! Jarrod went to the back to speak to his manager (some mystery man that never once came out to help us at all). It was apparent that Jarrod has messed something up and blamed it on the system. After waiting an hour, he informed us he would have to refund the money for the 2 phones and start over. If I didn't know any better then he would've just cost me even more money! That refund was going to take 2-3 business days to get back to my account because of bank rules. I informed him of this and he said "basically" I wouldn't receive my refund till next week. Tomorrow is Christmas and wasting money like that isn't something I need right now. So after all of this and the awful customer service, I'm short money (waiting for refund) and I don't even have my new phone. The manager didn't even try to help us or even come out from his hide out in the back. I will NEVER go back to this store again! read more

I switched from VZ to AT&T then I decided to go back. Well Jacob the store manager said I was 2 days too late and I now own the iPhone. I said WHAT? The wait at the store was so long I got a coffee next door. So it started out bad. I explained I switched before Xmas and he said it makes no difference. He was cold and with out ant suggestions. I then went back to the Dedham store and they guy said no problem and I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. read more

The store is tidy enough and the staff friendly enough, but this is a very standard location in a very blah part of town. The staff is excellent and the premises clean, but it's not like I'd go out of my way to get to this location. If you need service assistance, accessories or a plan, come here. read more

Went to this store to purchase a phone and walked into an employee SCREAMING at some woman about a phone issue she was having. At least, I thought he was an employee until I heard him say he was a manager. I walked out right away. Great store you're running AT&T. I'll stay with Verizon if that's what you call "customer service". read more

Im giving AT&T a one star because i bought it to use in Mexico as they advertise. The only place it worked for me was the airport. So if your going to Mexico it may not work for you. read more

Mid December, I was looking to cancelled Sprint family plan to switch to ATT. I was told by ATT staff that there was not a problem to switch the iphones as long as they were unlock, which 3 of them are since we have used them overseas and all. After we opened a family account of 5 members, and waited 3 weeks for the Iphone6 and one 6plus, ATT staff couldn't activated our old iphones since we learned that day, Sprint phones are not comparable with any company, but Sprint. Not only I wasted 3 hours waiting to try to figure out what was the problem. ATT didn't know, had to go across the street back and forth to Sprint to bring information back to ATT. I was very disappointed with the customer service, returned then Iphone 6, and continue with Sprint service. So for a 3 weeks period we were paying two companies waiting for the new Iphones to come. After 3 days a friend of mine recommended to visit ATT in Milford. A girl name Vanessa helped me. She was extremely helpful and eager to fix the whole messed. She even called Sprint herself to transfer the numbers and cancelled the account with them, which ATT in N. Attleboro told me, I had to do myself, because it couldn't be done by ATT. Customer service these days, it is what makes a different where we shop. I would never go back to AT&T at Emerald Square, horrible customer service!!! read more

I have had nothing but problems with this location. Every time I go in it's a new problem. Most recently, I went in looking to upgrade my iphone to a newer model. After choosing the phone I wanted the sales associate proceeded to try and sell me a new data package that included Direct TV. After expressing multiple times that I wasn't interested and liked the plan I had, he finally went in back to get my phone. Twenty minutes later he came out and apologized for taking so long. He claimed he couldn't find the phone and had to go looking for it through some boxes. He then proceeded to again bring up Direct TV. When I said I would like written info about it he pulled out a hand written diagram that detailed my current plan cost and what the switch to Direct TV would like. (This is what he was really doing in the backroom for twenty minutes.) This was only the first lie of many I would be told at this location. We agreed to upgrade to the Direct TV package, mostly because it was going to be cheaper with the new phone upgrade than the current package. He scheduled the installation for later in the week and stated he would call the day of to ensure everything went smoothly. Well, he didn't call and things didn't go smoothly. On the day of the installation I was informed our package was only written for installation on one TV, when we originally agreed on four tvs. We called customer service with the tech present and were told there was literally nothing they could do for us and we'd have to go back to the store. So back to Attleboro we went . Where we wasted another hour of our lives and were lied to some more about them fixing the problem. One of the managers could see we were visibly upset and offered to "do anything to make you happy" including buying me a pair of shoes. Because apparently that's what makes women happy-- shoes. I can't help but wonder if I'd been male would he make the same offer? I'm betting no. So after that sexist comment, they said we could leave and they'd call when they fixed the problem. Two days later- still no phone call. Back to the store we go. This time just my mother went as the account is in her name. When she stated no one called, she was told we were wrong and they left us a message and that everything was all set we just needed to come back in to finalize everything. (Lied again) She had to call over to Direct TV and cancel the original order, as it was never cancelled and re-order the entire system. It took her two hours there in the store. Then when everything was finalized she asked what they were going to do to compensate her for all the trouble. The managers response was that he wanted me to come back into the store and he'd "do whatever it took to make me happy." First, I'm not the account holder, I'm not the one you should be attempting to make happy. Second, you want me to drive back there on what would then become a fourth trip in this whole ordeal to rectify your associates lies and sexist comments. No thanks. I'll call customer service instead and deal with the district managers at this point. read more
