Repeated problems with service, billing and customer interaction. Vague explanations regarding activation and data transfer.

I visited the New Milford AT&T location this afternoon with my family to deactivate the phone that belonged to my father who recently passed. Benjamin, the employee who assisted us, was incredibly incompetent, rude and insensitive. He explained things in an incredibly convoluted manner, did not wait for us to respond to his questions and seemed annoyed when we were taking time to decide if we should wipe the phone which had years of memories on it. At one point he actually made my mother cry because he was so impatient with her. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at an AT&T location, and I strongly suggest that Benjamin be moved to a position that does not allow him to interact with customers. We were all shocked at his behavior and his insensitivity towards people who were clearly grieving and needed a kind sales associate to help with this difficult task. read more

I've been scammed here, they "accidentally" put a new line on my family plan, and "accidentally" sent a brand new iPhone to a mysterious address in massachusssets. Interesting how I can't even get information about my own account without double or triple vaerifying my identity, yet someone can "accidentally" log into my account, add a phone number , and ship a phone to an address that's not associated with my account? That is not an accident. On top of that, the last worker I encountered there was rude and condescending when I was trying to get basic info about my account. He was treating me like a criminal, like I was trying to pull one over on him. Criminals working at the store, and treating their customers like they're the bad guy. Will travel great distance to never go here again. Zero stars read more

This is for the New Milford store on Danbury Road Connecticut. Made an appointment with Dreka for the new iphone 15 Pro. Picked it up the next day, and she was a TREMENDOUS help. SUPERPATIENT and thorough. Alot of stuff was successfully transferred in a bit less time than predicted. A great experience. Much appreciation. read more

I upgraded my phones at this location . 5 months later I get a huge charge on my bill for a phone that they claim wasn't returned . After two trips to the store and being told it was gonna be all taken care of .I find out from the asst Manger of whom wasn't even an asst manager he couldn't do nothing . He clearly wasted my time . This store sets there standards high to rip off customers. They clearly need to be shut down . Watch out for these people. Bad Business ethics. read more

If I could make it ZERO stars I would!!The is for the New Milford CT store. Sign says under new management so that's why I decided to go back. The last management was terrible. Well this team is no better. Went in for a new phone received it 20 days later which ok I get it there is shipping and production problems which isn't the AT&T stores fault. Was told some people got their phone in 5 days guess I wasn't some people. Anyway told the manager I was going over my data and paying extra fees for it and was on a very old plan. I told her I wanted to go to an unlimited plan which with a couple of clicks of buttons I was set up with unlimited plan. Only problem was she didn't explain any of the plans and didn't ask what type of plan and how much I used before doing this. Just automatically singed me up for the most expensive plan which I assume is for commission for them. When I asked about plan details I was a problem and she had too much going on right now to explain it all. So I left and came back in a couple days because I can get a discount from my work but I needed some info from my work first. So I got that all set up and they tried to sell my the DirectTV stream. I told them no 10 times explained I would like to think about it and they kept pushing me into it. They told me over and over it's free for 14 days so return it and you get no charge it's great better and cheaper than cable. So I needed to go so after saying no 10 times I said ok. Went home hooked it up and I will say DirectTV stream was nice. Got channels back that I had lost with spectrum and was a pretty good service. After doing some research tho I realized that it is more expensive than my current cable plan so I unhooked it and returned it 3 hours later. He also spoke with his manager about something and they got in a little argument about how much work they were making for her. I was told everything was all set and it was taken off my bill. 2 or 3 days later I got a pending charge on my card from DirectTV for 200+ dollars. Called AT&T and explained they said it was free for 14 days I returned and canceled same day and I'm being charged. They couldn't help me and told me to call direct tv which I did. I will have to say direct tv was great on the phone helped me out quickly and said this isn't the first problem they had with AT&T hooking people up and in the future come directly to them and bypass AT&T. He also told me the store did set me up with the most expensive plan which he mentioned to me but again said it was free for 14 days. Watch out for this store they will use you for commission. They want to set you up for the most expensive anything or whatever will benefit them. They will do all of this without letting you know anything about plans. So then you will get a bill in the mail much larger than expected. They are not about helping the customer at all. I will not be returning for this store in the future!! read more

My experience at the AT&T in new Milford at litchfeild crossing was great! John helped me get a new phone and helped me keep my bill the same with a new unlimited plan. Would recommend to everyone. read more

Only 1 clerk in store with 6 people I'm 1st in line and have been waiting 25 min only to be told they don't have the free charger I was emailed that I was entitled to and as it is only an in store offer I have to go to another store. read more

I came into the store to upgrade my phone. The representative told me they had the one I wanted in stock but then proceeded to tell me they don't do upgrades past 6:30, it was 6:32 on the dot. Will not be coming back to this store anytime soon. read more

Went in to get a data update on my new I phone that I got from a family member who is out of state. The person was friendly but was spinning a fidget spinner the whole time through our discussion. I wasn't able to get the upgrade because the account holder was out of state. I just find it strange they would allow someone to be playing with a toy while assisting a customer.
