AVOID THIS STORE!!! AT&T had a special to exchange my Apple iPhone 13 mini ( in perfect condition) for a new Apple iPhone 16 Pro. The offer was that I would get $1000 credit towards the purchase of the new phone. Sounded great! Luke the employee at the store made a mistake and inadvertently wrote my phone up as an Apple iPhone 12. Luke and Lexi (his boss) told me not to worry, that after the third billing cycle the correction would be in my account and I would have the full $1000 credit. Here we are 7 months laterno credit. I've been leaving many messages with no return calls and no help. I spoke with Samantha, who claims she is the manager. She has also been of no help. AVOID THIS STORE!!!. read more

Purchased a new phone at the Newtown store the other day. Without asking and thus without my consent, I was put on a monthly payment plan AND was signed up for a $15/mo. "Protection Plan"! The salesperson never brought up the option of insurance for the phone and automatically signed me up for it. This is unethical! This is fraud! Shame on you AT & T. I had a number of problems with my last phone and I stopped in this location 2 times to get some help with it. Each time I went, I found the staff to be helpful, friendly and resourceful. While they ultimately couldn't fix the stupid Bluetooth and call quality issues (turned out to be a manufacturer defect), they did give it a fair shot. On the downside, when I got another phone there, the agent signed me up for $9 a month mobile insurance without even asking me. I found this to be deceptive and annoying. They took it off the bill eventually, but if I hadn't spotted the charge it would have been ongoing for God knows how long. Not cool. read more

The first time I went here I had a wonderful experience, but tonight I dealt with an employee who seemed to have very little patience or interest in answering even the simplest of questions, from the moment I sat down. It was really unfortunate. I just wanted to upgrade my phone and adjust a few settings on my plan and the employee did not assist in helping me to understand any details about the plan, to the point where I felt uncomfortable in working with him any longer and left. read more

Pitiful service! Recited "policy" for why they would not service something I bought at their store. It was a Zagg iPhone screen saver that cracked. They said I have to make a claim through Zagg. Funny, when we were in Vermont just one month ago (almost to the day), my son's screen saver also was cracked. They handled everything right there in the store. Vermont understood customer service. There are other options. Verizon is opening in NEWTOWN shortly. And for me, I'll be buying all my Apple stuff from the Apple Store online or at Quakerbridge Mall in NJ - just a 20 minute ride from NEWTOWN. As a rule, I like to buy locally from stores that service what they sell. ATT will never make a sale to me again. Disappointing experience. Went to the store only to change the SIM card in my son's phone. They pitched me about buying their Dish service, I politely declined. 2nd pitch to buy dish service (same person), I decline. 3rd pitch I told them I'm not interested just change the chip in my phone. The manager sends me to a rep to change the chip. The rep "Talor" pitches me again. I told him I already declined with his manager. His work on my chip change slows down. He pitches me again, NOT INTERESTED I say. He has the guts to pitch me again, I ask him forcefully "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU IM NOT INTERESTED????? What the hell is wrong with these people? It was the worse experience I have ever had with ATT!! By the time I left I felt like I was buying a used car, and that I needed a shower when I got home. The service was good when I got my iPhone. It was quick and the sales representatives are pretty nice. Not bad.

Worse Customer Service I have ever experienced. I've been in the customer service industry for 15 years and would Never treat a customer as I was just treated. I went in with a problem with my bill because no one informed me of additional charges to expect on my bill when I upgraded. Also insurance was added for my phone without my request or knowledge. When I spoke to the first representative about it she just gave me attitude. I asked to speak with the manager and he made no attempt to solve my problem. He actually tried to sell me a different phone plan and tell me it would be cheaper after the original sales rep informed me that it would cost me the same. No one in this store knows what they are doing, and the manager has absolutely no people skills. I've never had any problems at either the Bensalem or the Oxford Valley Mall Locations. I will never return to the Newtown Store ever again. read more

Worst customer service ever! The Newtown AT&T location does not care about their customers! They only care about making a sale. If you come to AT&T Newtown to get an issue with your phone fixed, they will NOT help you. They will quickly get you out of their store so they can spend their time getting their next sale. All they care about is making a sale for commission. They do not care about their customers. They already sold you the phone and made their commission off of you, now they want no parts of you. Just a horrible experience. My wife bought me a gift there. When I went back to return it, I found out they bait and switched the pants off of her even though she told them she didn't understand the plans and that she was gonna wait. They convinced her to buy it and that she could switch right back if there was an issue. They signed us up for higher plans and things they knew we didn't need. When we tried to go back to our old plan, they told us it wasn't available anymore and that we should just take the one they gave us since we already paid an activation fee and will have to pay a restocking fee too. Did I? Nope! Returned the whole deal, and am on the phone with AT&T now getting a credit for their incompetence. Never again. read more

I stopped by at this store in August 2015 to renew contract. I specifically said that I want to reduce the cost of the contract. They talked me into a new services and said it will be a little bit cheaper. The actual cost of my new contract is $60 more than I had. When I asked to reverse my contract to old they refused. Today I stopped by to ask about help to connect my phone to new car. Store manager Nick refused to 'step out of store' to connect it. It takes only about 45 seconds! After being 15 years with AT&T I think now IS the time to review my loyalty to company. Loyalty is a two way street. I woul not recommend to use this store in particular and AT&T in general. They treat new customers very well to have them sign contract, but as soon as you are current customer you not worse anything. read more
