They have 2 kiosk that don't work and 2 employees on the floor with 9 customers waiting for such a long time, this is ridiculous

Diego, the manager of the store doesn't know how to do a basic reset my hotspot wasn't working I have 15 GB of hotspot. All he said was to call 611 and try to see if they can help. This is crazy not even going into my account straight checking my phone and telling me straight they have four people in the store not one person can go in the account and check what the issue never go to the store for any problem he said offer me to get another line. I went to this location to purchase an IPad. Initially the store manager Alan presented with great customer service. He convinced me to cancel my internet and cable for a new internet Air and direct tv streaming service. I was informed that my bill would be $122 each month which was great! I have had the service for almost 2 months and the $122 payments are automatically charged each month. I learned today that my WiFi has been suspended as there is a past due balance of $141. I called AT&T for clarification and to explain that the funds were withdrawn from my account only to learn that there are two separate accounts. My previous cable and internet was paid together and this Manager Alan CORTINEZ was not transparent with the true monthly payment for my new service. I feel like I was scammed. After all is said and done there were no benefits in switching services. This "manager" was unethical and manipulated me while trying to make his quota. read more

It makes sense why the ratings are so low. It's insane to me how they are considered a "corporate" office. SKIP the trouble and AVOID this location. The manager has no concept of problem solving whatsoever! It's easier for them to just drive customers away than to provide reasonable solutions. My phone was due for an upgrade and we ordered for the phone to be picked up at this location. With the whole pandemic going on, we picked it up curbside & didn't think it would be necessary to open the phone right then and there to check for any damages. When we got home, I opened up the phone box and saw the phone was cracked in the back. I immediately called the store again to see how it can be resolved. The manager (Diego Vasquez) quickly said he can't do much to help us & couldn't give us an exchange because the phone was not opened in the store. It doesn't make any sense bc the whole concept of curbside pickup is to limit contact with employees, why would we want to open the phone in store? Plus no one expects to open up a brand new box and see a damaged phone. I proceeded to call Apple since the manager said this is a manufacturing issue. They then told me AT&T should be able to refund or exchange the phone for me. Afterwards, I called AT&T Corporate and they told me their policy #130213 (dead on arrival) allows me to exchange the phone. Funny thing is, corporate even told me that the manager would try to argue with me, so if they did, to just tell them to refer back to the policy number. My brothers & I went back to the store, and as expected, they said they couldn't exchange the phone for me. I told them to refer back to the policy number & after minutes of hiding in the back, they said the supervisor would allow it. All that fuss, just for them to circle back around and exchange a phone that was already damaged even before we got it. Doesn't make any sense to go through all that trouble! read more

He's is hands down the rudest person ever, whenever you're trying to explain what the problem is he talks over and basically makes you feel like your stupid and you just don't get it. Wow what a p.o.s. Manager. Received a damaged phone and attempted to return it in store. They first said they would charge me a restocking fee I thought it was because they didn't have any in stock. Didn't feel I should pay anything, went in circles and now he won't take it back even though it is store procedure. I actually like ATT been with them for years. I'm so frustrated with this store... Every time I come here I have to wait a long period of time to get assistance because they are ALWAYS "short staff". This time I waited about 40 minutes only to be told that they didn't have the phone I wanted & they couldn't tell me which store had it. Apparently this is AT&T policy. I would have to call around to find out which store had it... what type of customer service is that. & of course the Mgr Diego wasn't there. I walked in to exchange a mobile phone under the 15 day trial period. I was told I was not allowed to exchange it more than twice. I asked where on the contract it said that. The gentleman said, "that is what my manager said." I asked to speak to her. He said I could, but that I would still not be able to exchange anything. I asked him if anything would change if I called an 800 number. He said maybe but they would still not exchange it even if they found a way. I was told my only recourse would be through the 800 number. I called 611, and I spoke with a representative which told me I WAS allowed to exchange my mobile phone as long as I was under the 15 day trial period- which I was. I was told to call their district manager if the store declined to help me with my request. I was told that the store did not want to complete the request, and it had nothing to do with a two limit exchange. I called the store back to ask for the district manager's contact information. I was transferred to a store manager after a 15 minute wait. She wanted my contact information , and I just kept requesting the district manager's contact information. Then I was put on hold for another 10 minutes. Finally after a 25 minute wait I was given the information I requested. It seems the Paramount AT&T store invents their own policies that do not align with AT&T policies written on their own receipts. Please make sure to double check with a representative by calling 611 to make sure they are accountable. I figured because the area is largely a Hispanic speaking area- they figure people will not call to complain. Please call: they have Spanish speaking representatives when you call 611 or the 800 number. Read the contract and receipts because apparently they don't. It is sad to wonder how many service request they have rejected. How many customers have walked out of the store given wrong information. BTW: I drove to the nearest At&t in the next city. I had no issues. The transaction was smooth and quick. I was in and out in less than 25 minutes. read more

We all know that AT&T gets a bad rap occasionally, but this location is conveniently located near the L.A. County Library, banks, eateries and other stores for those who are eager to stop in to pay their bill or buy a new phone. Service is not perfect but always prompt, friendly and courteous. This store like others has changed due to AT&T's mandate to go digital and change with the times. Yes, they will pressure you to buy extra stuff at times, especially when you are buying a new phone. There are 2 kiosks for you to pay your internet, wireless, home phone and other AT&T related bills. At times, they will give you a deal. Highly recommended for passers-by or those who live and/or work in the area or those in search of an AT&T store that offers excellent service. read more

It's unfortunate that I have to write this review. I have worked several years in customer service, so I am very patient and understand how difficult it can be to deal with several of customers every day. With that said, I was very disappointed with my recent visit to this store today. As it's currently the holiday season, it was expected that there may be a long wait-- and we waited 1.5 hours to be exact. During our wait, it seemed like they were under-staffed, while the manager, Sylvia, only acknowledged us once. In fact, it didn't seem that we were an important priority since she was busy re-stocking phone cases in the store. 1.5 hours later, Melchor, the team member, informed us that we would be unable to purchase a phone. There were other details we unknowingly had to take care of prior to our visit, which would have been convenient to know if the staff paid more attention to the reasons for our visit when we arrived. It also would have been helpful to have each AT&T store on the same page on what is needed to purchase a phone. On our last visit, we didn't have any issues. And this time, all we had were issues. As we left, Melchor and Sylvia seemed nice, but being nice wasn't enough. They handled the situation very poorly and the damage was already done after our 1.5 hour wait. I hope no one else has to go through such a waste of time. If you must go to a AT&T store, please go somewhere else. read more

Writing this review on direct tv ii had direct tv for over 6 years and ii had move a couple times and had it reinstalled no problem and now that ii moved again they hit me with a 200$ moving fee that is jjst crazy my contract is running out soon so to cancel it would be 180$ and to install with the moving fee and payments of direct tv it = 400$ the best they can do is deduct 50$ yeah ii guess years years means nothing im going to go ahead and cancel going with time warmer read more

It was time to upgrade my phone from the relic that served me well for more years then i choose to admit..... I walk into the store and I'm immediately greeted by a smiling face wanting to help me.. I tell the gentleman Fred that I'm in dire need of a new phone, he asks a few questions and promptly hands me over to a Rep named Flavio that had the equipment to look up my account.. After looking up my account the Rep told me my options and pointed out that i ran over a few times on my Data plan, which i quickly blamed on my child.. To notbe too long winded,, i was well taken care of,, i walked out with a new phone, upped my data a few gigs and took advantage of a ipad special they had going.. Worse customer service I've ever experienced. I purchased a phone for my son to pick up at this location. I am in San Diego, he is in that area attending school. I was told to add him as an authorized user, give him my pin and he could pay cash at the store. He does that and they refuse to give him the phone because he doesn't have MY credit card with him. Mind you, it was not purchased with my card. When I call to discuss the situation with someone over the phone, they repeat over and over and over that it's company policy without being able to provide a logical explanation. The manager happens to not be there but then I'm out on hold so that this rep can check with his manager. HORRIBLE customer service, avoid this location at all cost. Received wonderful service in this very clean and well-organized AT&T store. The store is located in a large well-maintained shopping center on Paramount Boulevard just South of Alondra Boulevard in Paramount. Tatiana was the name of the knowledgeable sales lady who helped us make our purchase. She was very polite and was incredibly helpful. She really took time to answer all of our questions and even provided helpful suggestions to possible future issues we might come across. The type of customer service and attention we received from Tatiana at this particular AT&T store is the very type sadly rare these days. read more

If there could be zero stars I would grade them at ZERO. I have been a customer for a long time, after walking in today to the paramount location I will be switching my service. I had a terrible experience. Ivan had me wait just to inform me he could not help me. Then he calls his Manager Julian, he also can't help me with my concern on my accessory. What bothers me the most is they showed no value or seemed concerned about my issue. Their demeanor was very clueless. He provided incorrect information as I just verified with there corporate location. He refused to provide me with his business card. He stated he did not have any, because he just stared working there. I believe he needs more training on how to handle customers with high level of questions and concerns. Very unhappy with this place. Select another location. I have also filed a formal grievance due to their unprofessional customer service. read more

I don't know about all the bad reviews I see on here, but both times I've come in, I've had great service. The first time I came was to get a new phone because I tore my iPhone 5 up! The girl who helped me was not only bomb, but she got straight to the point and got me in and out fast. She didn't shove products in my face trying to get me to buy more than I needed. She just brought the stuff out and as I declined she just smiled and moved on. The second time I came in there, there was a good amount of people, and instead of having me wait for the associates to be finished, the manager just went ahead and helped. I needed a new SIM card for my brother's phone which I ran over, had a good laugh about the story with the manager and was out of there in less than 5 minutes. I have just bad things to say about this at&t retail store. Bad customers service, attitudes, and business. Management and assistance have no class towards their customers. They always have an excuse not to help you or keep you waiting. I will be sending my complaint letter to their district manager or even corporate. Every time I go its a disappointment. I had tried to give them a second chance but nothing has changed. Managers are rude and have NO CLASS. I will call them s****d but I'm to classy for that!!!! I am in this store for the eighth time trying to make this stupid active Samsung phone work. At this point speaking to warranty services and the young lady who is my daughters age talking out the side of her mouth. I definitely had to get her straight. After that we have now been on the phone for 20 minutes going through an extensive electronic check the f this phone. Guess what the phone still does not work!!!!!!!!! OMG!!'n people still trying to get out of replacing this phone. By the way I spend $200.00 monthly on this phone. Customer service is awful!!!!! Now I still need the phone replaced please stay away from AT&T. The service is poor and costs are astronomical! Still waiting for replacement!!!! This store is retail so it can't help if you needed it like I do right now. Ok after 45 minutes on phone with warranty more money has to be paid for them to send us a reconditioned phone. Horrible service!! I went in to return an accessory and as soon as I walked in I was not acknowledged at all. I stood their wondering who if anyone was going to help me. There where a bunch of people who looked as confused as me. Then one of the sales reps after 15 minutes of clueless waiting, stops talking to a customer and looks available. She walls near me and I ask for her help and she rudely raises her finger at me and signals me to wait. I found out her name was Karla. She was extremely rude. She added me to the "list". Then after waiting another 20 minutes I see a lady walk in after me who goes up to the register and is helped immediately. I just needed a return. After that I waited another 15 minutes until I finally was able to tell someone who wasn't "busy" to help me with my return. He rudely looked at the list and saw that I was next and he ended up helping me with a not so great attitude. I saw one customer leave because no one acknowledged them and I saw another who came after me who waited almost 20 minutes before anyone said anything to her. I will never go to this store again even if its the closest to me. The customer service is bad, the people are rude, and they do not value their customers. Good luck on getting JD power award, especially with rude employees like Karla. You should never raise your finger to people that was beyond rude, no etiquette at all. read more
