I give this location one star because the gentleman I spoke to was not helpful. When I walked in and told him I want to trade my phone. He didn't say a word to me, but he took my phone to a woman who worked there. He talked to her for a few minutes and then came back and told me I couldn't trade my phone. The professional thing to do is tell me what you're doing with my phone. Another reason I give them one star is because when I called the location, they told me they can't see my information and if I wanted to get a new phone, I would have to order it from the app. That is not true because I just came to another location and they told me they would help me look at my information. read more

I bought my mom a new phone case and screen protector, and she was so excited to take it in to get the screen protector installed. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. One of the employees -- a short lady with big lips -- was very rude and unprofessional. She rushed through the installation, and when she was done, the screen protector was full of fingerprints and not aligned properly. When we complained to the supervisor, they admitted they've been having issues with that same employee. It's frustrating that T-Mobile allows someone with such a bad attitude and lack of care to continue representing their store. We expected better service, especially for something so simple. They got on the phone to call a representative to see where the error occurred and stayed on until my issue was resolved. Although they did help us with our issue, the customer service here was bad. The lady at the front door was super nice but the latino man with tats on his left arm was very rude. We tried making small talk while he was activating our new phone and he hardly replied if at all. Once the activation was complete he handed us the phone and walked away. I was extremely pleased with my experience at the T-Mobile Store in South Gate. Ana Martin was the customer service associate that assisted me and she was awesome! Ana was extremely patient, knowledgable and friendly. She literally told me about all of the phones in the store and the promotions that were available, worked with my needs and my budget. I ended up taking an IPhone and accessories to protect and accentuate my phone. I highly recommend this store! Marisela the Supervisor of this store has horrible customer service and is more worried about sitting in the back being lazy than dealing with customers. Went in for an exchange of warranty and was told that she couldn't assist me. Customer Care advised me there was no reason she couldn't assist me. The manager laughed and started smirking as if she found humor in my frustration. I would avoid this store. Go to Downey or Cerritos for better service. T-Mobile needs to re-train these type of supervisors and managers to go above and beyond. I will NEVER return to this store. I would of given this place zero stars if i was able to. I downloaded yelp just to write this review, thats how bad my experiences have been with this place. It all started when i purchades my mobile phone from this location. From the beginning i started getting problems with my phone i called tmobile technical support atleast 5 times before going to the store. One of the employee basically tolled me that my $300 phone was "low end" thats why i kept having problems with it and if i purchased a better quality phone it should fix phone issues. Before purchasing the expensive ass phone i asked the seller if the issue continued was able to return my phone. According to the guy i had 14 days to return it if i was not satisfied. To my disappointment my Samsung S6 kept restarting by itself atleast 2x per day and i was still receiving my txts late or wouldnt receive them. When i decided to return it ,the rude employeer didnt even want to help me because i didnt provide them with the original paperwork .Yet when i returned my other phone to buy this expensive one they didnt ask for shit. Her next excuse was that since i had changed my phone number to the new provider i was not able to return the mobile phone. After hearing all the bull shit i called customer service and thank god they where able to help. Even the woman helping me out from customer service was having difficulty with these people.They passed the phone around and made us wait a long time for help. I wasted one hour hearing stupid excuses to not get my money back. But thanks to tmobile customer service i was able to return it. But they did charge me the $50 restocking fee. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND NO ONE TO THIS RUDE ,UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE. I currently have boost and havent had any issues and as a matter of fact it's waaaayyy cheaper . And if you have to deal with this people all i have to say is GOOD LUCK and make sure you take some snacks because they are going to make you wait. read more
