Not this store specifically but AT&T as a whole. They will allow for accounts to be opened up in your name twice within a year! The first account dispute had taken over 6 months to dispute since I was not able to speak with someone in the fraud department and could only speak to a customer service agent that kept trying to have me pay the original amount of $120. Even though they confirmed that the accounts I was able to access were closed out 2 years prior and home address and phone number did not match any of their accounts. I was only able to remedy the situation after filing a dispute through a consumer credit bureau. After only a few months of having my first dispute resolved I am now getting collection calls again and my credit was affected this time for $100. Once again I am not able to access any account information as I do not have any of the information that is associated with the account (phone, number, home address, or pin). Again I am still not able to speak to someone in the fraud department and they closed out my case for insufficient account information. Information that I do not have as I don't have an active account. Stay away as its apparently extremely easy for someone to set up an account but impossible to close out unauthorized accounts. read more

AT&T has nonexistent service in Waddell, Buckeye and a large part of Surprise. They are doing nothing to correct or improve it. Pass on using their services unless you want to see SOS instead of a connection. Horrible service. read more

This is the second time that I've had to go into this AT&T store for my secondary phone line. The service has been absolutely incredible. A Sims are a little bit tricky and have to be set up very carefully. I had no problems whatsoever. They are also open for curbside delivery and are observing excellent social distancing. Made me go get my license(so I did) and when I came back Rep told me they couldn't help me. Like couldn't you have told me that in the first place? The store had good service. I was switching my phone plan to save some money and I had started the process over the phone, finished it in store. The store was pretty quiet when we came in. We were the only people there. The process took quite some time with all the technical difficulties they had. But we got it done eventually. I didn't feel that it was an outstanding experience that made me want to rave about them customer service-wise. But they did what I was hoping for. The Store Manager of this location was who helped me and let me just say his level of professionalism is "off the charts" ! horrible horrible horrible. the workers are nice don't get me wrong but the service and how much they charge you is sky rocket. they don't tell you about the unnecessary fees until after so you're stuck paying $200+ for one phone. i wouldn't recommend this to anyone, at&t is awful and not to mention their service is trash. for $200 you'd think you'd get amazing service well that's the complete opposite. when i went to cancel my service and return the phone they also charged me $100 for the service i didn't use and the return for their phone, definitely a run for your money. read more

I told myself that I would write a review after I received my first bill to see if what I was told actually was reflected on my first bill so here I go... Now I did my research and read a lot of yelp reviews so I felt like I knew what to look for, for example: don't take the tablet that they offer for a dollar because that actually is an extra line you have to pay for! I walked in and was welcomed quickly by Monique who also worked with me during my entire transaction. She was a great listener and answered a lot of my questions although my voice was rather hesitant after reading most of the reviews. Monique however answered my questions and was open with the price and the plans and did not seem to take any offense from me declining any of the items that were presented. I came in for the iPhone 6 and they had the one I was looking for in stock she never tried to upsell me to a 6S but by their procedures she did have to try to sell me a phone cover but was kind about it. At that point there was a lot of customers but I still felt like she was not trying to rush me and also help me set up my phone and my account. The plan actually came out to be much cheaper than what I was paying for and I was very happy to see that my bill was exactly what was presented. I wish AT&T would allow me to see the final cost before I sign off on the contract but given how their system is set up that was something I wish was different but it was something that Monique could not have done differently. I bought iPhone 6s(paying all cost at a time). When I bought this phone they told me that they can unlock this phone after 14 days. After 4 months when I ask for unlock they are saying 6 months.' reposting...Still have gotten no where... 2/24/20 I received an email to direct message with my review I posted recently...Nightmare. Reps make money on new lines. I did a BOGO for 2 existing lines, Jay Shapiro said he could get me an iphone 7 for free. Part he did not mention was in order to do this he added a new number to my existing ipad (which is a dinosaur) and I told him I was not interested in utilizing the ipad anymore, without fully explaining what he was doing. Not only has my bill been messed up since Sept. I'm now stuck with my "free" phones/ipad because I'll be charged for remainder of payments. But good for Jay Shapiro he got a promotion! No value for customer of 20 plus years..Sales reps only care about themselves...management backs them up. One star is way too much.. 3/24/20 My bill is still messed up...instead of being $5 bucks more a month for unlimited data...did a BOGO for 2 XR's. Jay said he could get me a free iphone 7...which was a new line. what he did not explain is that he assigned a new number for a very old ipad that i was paying 13 bucks a month for. now I have 2 new lines and on a different plan.. old prices for 4 phones before Jay Shapiro: 132.55 (group plan) 19.78 29.99 20.70 13.55 Total: 216.57 Now: 20.15 (shared plan) 44.66 44.66 23.50 69.66 45.67 Total: 248.30 Have missed out on additional autopay discounts and incurred late fees because I've been trying to fix since sept 2019. Never got served. Got there right after store opened. Signed in, waited in my car for hour and a half before I left. 2 people in front of me. AND I called ahead to get an appointment the rep said no one was there and I should be fine. 45 min drive later I'm waiting. 5 stars for this specific corporate store. Virginia and Connie were so helpful! We had recently upgraded our phones online and were supposed to receive a $300 reward. We never got the reward because AT&T messed up the whole transaction (long story). After five and a half hours (yes I timed it) of phone calls to AT&T customer "service", we still were not able to get any resolution. But when I went to this store, Virginia was very helpful and was able to identify the issue and get it resolved for me in a timely manner. Connie is the store manager and also assisted. She was very knowledgeable and knew the fastest way to get my issue taken care of. While I give AT&T as a whole 2 stars, this store was great! Next time you have an issue, skip the phone calls and go straight to the store for help. I got my gift card in the mail the other day. It's a shame that I had to jump through so many hoops to get something that AT&T promised in the first place. read more

Tonight we went into the Anthem AT&T store to get our switcher bill handled hopefully once and for all. There was an associate in the store we spoke to first and explained our situation to and he didn't understand how we only received $159.00. Then Edward came up from the back. He pulled our final Sprint bill up from his email and printed it off. It showed that they were suppose to pay a grand total of $771.06. As Edward (original guy we worked with) was reviewing the bill, his associate had a question and kindly said I have a. Mid sentence Edward aggressively looked up, glared at him and condescendingly said "Don't interrupt me. " The associate, mind you he has only been working there for one month, looked at me shocked and appalled. Edward then tried to justify the $159.00 visa and said he only owed us an additional $127.00. My fiancé then pointed to the numbers and specified, "these are the portions AT&T needs to pay. The early termination fees and the rest of the lease on our phones which adds up to $771.06." Edward from there blew up. He proceeded to stand up and say, "this is all I am offering you." Jeffrey said "no that does not add up." Edward aggressively stated "yes it does and if you guys cant agree to this then you need to leave MY STORE!" At this point, my fiancé called AT&T customer care because we were told to do so the night before if there was an issue. We also asked Edward if we could speak to or receive Brock, the regional manager's, telephone number. Edward refused and said "No!" Edward then shoved the papers at my fiancé and again aggressively said "you need to leave." We refused to and Edward continued to try to push the papers into my fiancés hands. When my fiancé refused, he turned to me. He took the papered and thrusted them into my chest and abdominal area saying " you need to LEAVE MY STORE!" Again, we only went in tonight to figure out our bill. We did not cuss, yell, or make a pass at him. There was also a customer inside the store while this incident took place. He ended up leaving at the soonest opportunity he could. After I did not accept the papers he so violently tried to give me, he took them, placed them outside and then came back inside and threatened to call the police. He was accusing us of trespassing even though we are established paying customers. Meanwhile, I began recoding due to feeling unsafe and my fiancé continued to wait for customer care to get on the line. Edward walked to the back to call the police. His associate was then left in the store with us shocked and embarrassed by his co-worker. He tried to be hospitable and help console us. He also took it upon himself to text Brock to let him know what was going on, but did not tell Edward he had done so. The associate also said that this is not the first time he has talked down to an associate. We felt bad for him; no one should be in a workplace or work for a corporation that hires people that treat others this way especially from a manager. Edward then came in and out of the back saying the police were on the way. Continuing to say " YOU NEED TO LEAVE MY STORE. NOW." Jeffrey (my fiancé) then asked if he would be willing to speak with customer care and he said "NO, I refuse to help EITHER OF YOU." He then went to the back again and called his regional manager, Brock, to let him know of the incident. According to the associate, what Edward told Brock was that we were rude and cussing at him. We did no such thing and thankfully the associate was there as witness to prove we did not. We remained calm the entire time. Edward then came back out again refused to help us and made aggressive movements as he moved throughout the store making us feel even more uncomfortable than we already were. The customer care team advised us there was nothing they could do, that only the store could help us and that we needed to drive 10 miles to the next closest one in hopes to resolve our issue. Due to Edward giving us below poor customer service and he that he was the only manager there we were out of options. The Maricopa sheriffs department arrived and did ask us to leave the store. Once outside, the officers informed us what Edward reported to them and again it was another lie. We did not yell, we were not aggressive, we did not cuss. We were shocked and in disbelief that this situation occurred. We want to let all of our family and friends know that AT&T lied to us multiple times and provided us horrible customer service. If you are thinking about switching or signing up with #AT&T, be fore warned. This could be you. It has been the worst experience of my life. #att read more

He took the time to go over all the options to help me save the most money and even helped setup my new device with my existing information. Even the off-duty manager who was in the store helping his wife upgrade her phone was helpful. All-in-all great customer experience. understaffed and lack of knowledge is the main issue in this store, the lady seems like the manager is just useless and will not provide any customer servise to anyone, just tells the customer there will be someone with you in a sec. however there is no one, took longer to exchange a phone than a woman delivering a child, glitch out on the rep.'s device twice, don't know why, is it really that difficult to scan two barcodes? Plus the rep. keep making the tapping sound that makes me want to flip the freaking table, will not come back or suggest to anyone. read more

Horrible experience. I went in to get a new sim card for my new phone and the sales agent pressured me into trying to by cable. ATT and DTV are now the combination of two evil companies that will try and take advantage of you the minute you walk in to the store. the beset solution is too looks stuff online and fend for yourself. Would you like insurance on your phone? NO?, they'll sign you up anyway and tell you it's too late to reimburse you if you didn't catch it on your bill. Shady sales practices. You're better dealing with a used car salesman. Good luck. Ask the manager how the sales people get paid if they sign up someone with insurance on their phone after the customer says in every possible way "no" A company who's dishonest sales practices is not coupled with the evil "customer practices" of one of the most hated companies in America "Direct TV" ... sells you crap you don't need. and will shove it down your throat... just say no and then check your next bill for what they tack on anyway. I placed my order online to save time and pickup my phone on my lunch break. The store took it upon themselves to cancel my order "because the system wouldn't let them process it". Virginia then tried to void the warranty on my otterbox case by punching out the front glass so she could sell me a $60 stickon screen protector. Then when I reviewed my account this morning I found she had placed a new protection plan on my phone line to "reduce it by $10" but actually increased it by $20. I was 5 minutes late getting back due to this experience and will definitely let folks know to stay out of that store as they are definitely not ethical. read more

I don't even know where to start. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I went to this store to get a quote and what I was told was extremely reasonable so I quickly signed up. My first bill was high as to be expected and the my second bill was almost just as high. My third bill was $120.00 more than I was told I would be paying for service. I went into the store to try to figure out what was going on and Dean Newhouse, the assistant manager was extremely disrespectful to us right from the first word he said. He was 100% available, not busy at all but he made us wait for someone else for 15 minutes to help us. Once we told the Rep what was going on she had to bring Dean back over and again I have never dealt with someone with worse customer service in my life. He was making it so clear that he had way better things to be doing than helping us and never one time did acknowledge that they did anything wrong. He was convincing us to go to another carrier and making sarcastic remarks about how what were dealing with is our fault and not his. They LIED to us to get us to sign a contract and once we did overcharged us drastically and refuse to do anything to remedy this. We spent hours in the store trying to get back pay on what we were over charged and also spend hours upon hours on hold with customer service just to be hung up on. I cancelled my contract with them and am trying to sell my iPhone to pay if off and they wont let me make my final payment on my account because I cancelled. I now have to wait until i get my final bill to pay off my phone so I can sell it. They have been thee absolute worst. I did not have service in my apartment less than two miles from the store and i had to walk all the way to the middle of a park in my complex to be able to MAYBE make a call. They tried telling me to use my wifi calling to make calls but I should not have to pay $240.00 for two phones, another $100.00 for wifi and have to rely on my wifi to make a call. That is ridiculous. It is extremely expensive for the crap service and horrible customer service. It is exhausting having to deal with a company that does not care in the slightest. We spoke to over a total of 20 representatives with the company and not a single one of them was decent. I pay less now for Verizon unlimited everything than I paid for AT&T and I can actually make calls and use my phone. I would never ever recommend AT&T to anyone ever!!!! read more

I have been to this store three times--Barrette, Nicole and Ryan have all been super helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I had an issue they could not help me with and they referred me to call Customer Service to resolve. The representative was rude and accusatory-- not willing to research my issue AT ALL. I ended up filing a complaint with the attorney general office and BBB last week. ATT store staff = Awesome, customer service at ATT= non caring, robots who accuse rather than research and work to resolution. read more

And again this week from my old HTC to my new one. The staff has been great and so so helpful. And they are awesome about making great suggestions, upgrades, downgrades, accessories. Dealing with the personnel at this store was the most difficult and frustrating experience I have ever had in a retail experience. Three visits, 5 phone calls and 1 unanswered email to the store manager (and he asked me to email him) later, I am writing this review. Very personable and willing to help, but given misinformation and bad advice.I dealt with 3 different associates at 3 different times , both telling me different information which did not align with what the store manager told me after I escalated the issue to him. Lastly, the ATT Care people contradicted all of them. I still am not sure who is correct, I guess my bill will reveal the story. The associates in this store do not have a solid understanding of the plans and devices, or they don't feel the need to take the time to educate me, the consumer on them, or at least this was my experience. Extremely unsatisfactory experience, if I could give zero stars, I would. Educate yourself thoroughly before you go to this store, don't rely on them to thoroughly educate you. read more
