Beware of the scam! The sales person there, Wes, called and stated my account was eligible to receive a free smart watch. Also stated if I added my tablet in a bundle pack my bill would be reduced by $4 a month. My bill initially tripled. Here we are 4 months later, 6 plus hrs on phone with 4 differnt Att service reps, 4 trips back to the store and my final word from the store rep was "sorry it's out of my hands, nothing i can do about it!" I did get a couple different credits initially to attempt to correct it, however, 3 bills later, it's still wrong and over what he said it should be! AT&T Store - Mobile Phones Near Me - Salem, Oregon

I'm an older person that has been with AT&T for over 20+ years. I went in to west Salem store today asking for some simple advice about an app on my phone and to help me out with a problem I have gone into other stores and they are very helpful. But today I have heard it all the two men at the table told me that they could help me and preceded to go on texting, plus they where very rude. I am disabled senior and found that the two men supposedly working at 2:30 pm on 01/17/2023. I'm recommending that disabled and seniors stay away from this store and go find one that will help you. read more

I would recommend finding a different store. I was lied to, which cost me an extra $150 dollars in accessories that I didn't need.

I was with AT&T for a few years. Originally we were quoted 160.00 for two phones and an Apple Watch. Well we weren't able to get the Apple Watch activated with AT&T so we got stuck paying 160.00 for two phones. A few months after getting the service my husbands phone got broke, AT&T employees at this location were great at getting the insurance claim set up and a new phone on the way, my phone stopped charging so we ended up upgrading my phone which was only supposed to up our bill by a few dollars so it wasn't a big deal at all. Well we get our bill at it's 193.00 we called the customer service line and they pretty much told us there's nothing they can do because the upgraded phone is what is reflecting a 33 dollar change to the bill. I said okay whatever. So fast forward a year down the road and I ended up paying my husbands phone off. Keep in mind our bill showed we were paying 20.00 for his phone on installments, paid it off and our bill DID NOT CHANGE!!! We called this branch and we were told that a promo was put onto our account (we did not know that there was a promo at all nobody told us and the bill didn't reflect any promo code) and so we asked why the payments reflected that we were paying 20.00 installments if we had a promo and nobody could answer us. The next day we came into this AT&T store and asked the manager if there was another plan we could change to because we found it ridiculous that we were paying 193.00 for two phones one of which is paid off. He looks at us and goes " just cancel your insurance on your phones." I said "no because if something happens I want to be covered I don't want to cancel a protection I have on the phones. Can you please look for other plans to switch us to." He looks at me and goes "no you can just go find two other people to split the bill with. There's nothing I can do for you." Keep in mind he didn't even look for other plans. My husband mentioned a plan that he had found on their website and he completely ignored my husband. I said "I'm paying 193 for two phones one is paid off so I don't think that's fair." He said "well that's standard so that's what you're going to pay pretty much 200.00" I was shocked at how rude this guy was being so I said "you know what I'll leave AT&T because you're refusing to help and being extremely rude." He goes "ok you gotta do what you have to do then." And he walks away leaving us just sitting there so we left the next day is when we went to another carrier. Since we were unlocking our phones to take to the new carrier my husband came back into this branch to ask absolutely it how long it takes for the code. The employees at the counter were so respectful my husband asked "how long should it take after putting in the unlock request." The employees said "sometimes it's instantly but it can take up to 3 days." My husband said "ok thank you I appreciate the information. We just wanted a time frame just to know what to expect." The employee said "that totally makes sense I would want to know too." The manager who was across the store heard the employee talking about the code he looks at my husband and yells in a snobby tone "well It's gonna take 3 days so expect to wait longer." At this point after our current interaction with the manager my husband turns around and goes "dude I wasn't even talking to you calm down." He thanked the employee again and left. We ended up getting the codes instantly and leaving AT&T. Due to this managers poor attitude and lack of people skills I will NEVER come back to AT&T. The managers and employees should give their customers the best experience for the company but this particular manager will drive away business! Good luck to this store if this is how he's going to act. The Unprofessional, disrespectful, and a lack of willingness to help customers is sad. read more

Rude rude rude customer service - or lack thereof -customer service !!!! My elderly parents are longtime AT & T customers . They purchased a cord for an iPhone on the 10th of December that proved to be defective . When attempting to return the defective cord with receipt -- they were treated curtly, rudely, and sent home with the defective cord & told "Not possible to exchange for a working cord " A woman called Alyssa was the supposed "customer service " agent . It took another trip by my sister to the store to exchange the defective cord and a call to AT & T corporate - My sister was assisted by a helpful young man, Ephrain, on her visit to this store Quite a bit of inconvenience over a 29.95$ defective item !!!!! read more

I will say the sales clerks are very affable but they've been instructed by AT&T to employ a very deceptive tactic. This is for the store on McGloughlin, Oregon City, near the 205 freeway We were approached with a "Family Plan" and told we'd save quite a bit of money. The clerk wrote it all down; four of us, "buy one get one free" phone offer, and what the monthly bill would be. ABSOLUTELY wrong. The first bill we got was for over double what had been offered to us in writing and we were told it would be that way for three or four months then settle down to only around double what we were told. Now we're trying to get out of this crap and everyone go back to their old plans or go elsewhere but they're making that almost impossible too. Don't deal with them, ever. read more

Horrific customer service. Came in because my boyfriend lost his phone to see if he could get a replacement. They told us that we'd have to call customer service to get an insurance replacement. We asked if we could just call from the store to maybe expedite the process, but he said no. He said he didn't want to be on the phone that long. Isn't that his job to do customer service? If I went to the store I want customer service. I don't want to just be given the number to customer service that I could've found myself on Google. There wasn't any one else in the store either that needed to be helped. He just didn't want to do his job. I recommend avoiding this location at all costs. read more

Over the top service. Friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. No crowds and no waiting. Three techs were ready to help us and the one who did, was willing to stay one hour after closing to make sure our phone was up and running properly again. No question about it. Went to retail store for a Direct TV package install and was told a technician would call in two days to complete the order. No one called and we checked with Direct TV for the reason why. It seems someone at this West Salem At&T retail store decided to put our install in for the year 2035!! The Direct TV rep confirmed that it originated from that location. Seems they don't care about customer service. read more
