My wife & I recently visited the ATT store at 314 Mall BLVD in Savannah, GA 31406. I want to thank the employee that helped us, Mr. Charles S. I was trading in a phone and she was getting a new screen protector put on her phone. Charles is the person you hope to get. He has helped us before. He is competent, and totally professional. A real pleasure to be with as he solves all of your phone issues. I don't owe him money & he is not related. He is just damn good. ATT is lucky to have him, he makes them better. If it weren't for helping someone else with their visit to this store, I would have no need to be here. They had a procedure of having customers wait outside. They would come with a tablet to take your name as the placement in line. They strictly followed social distancing rules, but the manager was a little frenetic of how he chose to follow these guidelines. Some people only wanted to pay their bills, but all of the employees were assigned to that duty at the time when they were free and ready to handle the next person which made the operations take longer than it could have if there was only one person to handle payments. Additionally, it seemed absurd in such a large space to only allow two customers in at a time. The manager was also easily agitated by some of the customers inquiring about the wait process. He was quickly ready to get into verbal aggressions with many of the patrons. He had a prickly conversation with at least three people while I stood by to witness his crazed and excitable demeanor. I think he may be the reason there is such a poor rating for this store. Fortunately, the young man who helped us was extremely kind and helpful. The small framed sandy blonde hair manager might need to find a less irritating position, perhaps a quiet library. read more

I recently bought a new iPhone XR from this location and the person who assisted me was very helpful and knowledgable. They made sure to inform me of the one time charge that would be coming on my next bill so I wouldn't be confused when I saw it. Had to visit store twice as $$$ phone was not in stock and mailed to residence. First trip was assisted by Jordan A., who was efficient, cordial and helpful. Second trip was terrible - agent had no customers in store but kept us waiting 5-10 minutes at table. Agent did apply screen guard (with a few bubbles remaining), but did not assist with data transfer or new phone setup as "wireless is in and out". Accessories to finish data transfer were not included with purchase of phone, and agent was defensive about questions. Agent did not support request for assistance with fixing voicemail service - deferred to 800 number. Chose not to purchase an additional tablet based on poor customer service, lack of support for existing purchases and being left to figure out data transfer process on our own. Why bother with going to this location when you have to do the work yourself - after a long wait? read more

The girl said "Yup" I asked if it was the 4G one and they girl said let me check and hung up..... and it took me 20 minutes to get through to her. Congratulations I'm switching after 17 years!!! My mother has been a customer with AT&T since 1998 when they were still Cingular Wireless. Ever since they were bought out by AT&T the customer service has gotten progressively worse. I am one to give kudos where deserved, but this establishment gets nothing of the sort. Terrell was the rep that I spoke with on my mother's behalf. To put it bluntly, I ported her number to Verizon the same day and filed a complaint with the BBB. Terrell refused to help me and the customer service rep on the phone hung up on me (literally). She said that her supervisor would tell me the same thing and to have a nice day. In what world are they allowed to assume what I want to speak with a supervisor about? As a Verizon customer since 2010, save yourself and shop elsewhere. read more

I walked in 20 mins ago. No one acknowledged me in this store. I just needed my phone activated. Two staffers finished with their clients and walked into the back room. I haven't seen them and they know customers are in the front. I was the first in waiting but I have a feeling that they don't know that and they will give attention to random customer First. I have no idea why people don't like this place. As soon as I walk in it seems like there are 4 people asking me can they help me. You chose to get AT&T nobody forced you to if you don't like them then change carriers . If there's a crowd of course you're going to have to wait but everything I've gone in they've had at least 4 or 5 people working. And if you're paying your bill you don't even have to wait for anyone because they've got 2 machines in the back to handle that. The people in here are extremely nice and helpful so what more could you ask for. read more

This company has no decorum or professionalism. They do not understand clear instructions nor do they listen and analyze a problem. I've never had to deal with an onslaught of issues from one ISP. They are a joke and do not deserve anyone's hard earned money. Do not be tempted by their economy prices because you always get what you pay for. In this case... their high speed connection barely registers as acceptable and often freezes and lags on basic streaming platforms. I had a 3g phone that was faster than their top of the line high speed internet. It was akin to dial up speeds. Also, when you raise this issue to them they will A., (ignore you completely or insult your intelligence by running a "diagnostic" of your modem.) Or B., (tell you to be available from a large period of time in the middle of the work week.) For instance, they say be available from 4-8 on Monday. They text you saying, "Hey I can roll by earlier than 4pm, will you be around?" and you return the text saying, "Wow that's neat att guy but I have a JOB and it requires me to be there until 5 and my commute takes 30 mins so the earliest I can get off is 5:30 can you schedule me in for 6." They return the text, "Oh I'm sorry we can't accommodate your schedule, so you'll have to reschedule for another indefinite amount of time during the standard work week." So yes, you can definitely do better when finding an ISP, do not waste your time or money with att. Zero stars! read more

Taylor is worst manager, HE does not keep promises. He botched the iPhone 7 release at his store and made customers wait for hours very early on that friday when he knew the day before he did not have the stock. HE kept customers waiting outside while he and his staff are side and never took time to tell people outside he did not have stock. HE does not return calls and does not follow up on anything. Employees are sitting down and more interested in football games on sunday then tending to customers in the store.. I regret moving over from Verizon. read more

I went into this location today to upgrade my phone and Christina helped me. Honestly, because of her, if there was more than 5 stars, I would have put more. She was seriously awesome. Her customer service was off the charts and she was just a really cool person (which was great, because I ended up being there for longer than I'd intended so she was good company!). My husband and I went with a friend who had never had a cell phone. Justin Briggs was assigned to help us. He was very patient and helpful with my friend who was starting her business. He found the perfect simple phone for her and even found a way to lower her bill and get more services than her land line account. Since my friend was starting a pet sitting business Justin got her a number that spelled pets. Super customer service!! read more

On Saturday I purchased a new iPhone X from the store. Everything worked fine till the next day. Took the phone back to the store because it was doing it's own thing. I couldn't get into the phone to do anything. So, I went back to the place I purchased the phone. I talked to Bob the store manager. He informed me that he couldn't take the phone because it had disabled itself. He continued to tell me to take the phone to an Irepair store up the street to get it repaired because they were the Apple store in my city. So, I go home and call Apple they unlocked the phone and today took the phone back to the store since, its no longer disabled. Bob runs to the back and plays like he was in a meeting. So, another member helped me. He told me that they could help and make it right but, they needed the manager to override the system to do the return. He goes in the back and talks Bob. Bob told him to tell me "He wasn't taking it back and to do what he said." So, I waited and finally Bob appears. He goes into I told you what to do. But, first the phone is new. Secondly, the Irepair store in Savannah isn't a Apple store and would charge me to look at the phone and apple care wouldn't cover the cost. So, basically Bob just robbed me with no gun in the store for $1100. So, when I asked for his full name he hesitated and said I was angry and he wouldn't help me any further. I have been an Att customer for over 15 years and this is what I get. Thanks Bob! You will never get my money! Changing service ASAP.
