I ordered an Apple Watch from the Verizon store on Victory Drive in Savannah, GA. When it arrived, the band was too large. The salesperson who helped me, Justin, was terrific--he immediately offered to order a smaller band so I could compare both sizes before deciding which one to purchase. He repacked the original watch, labeled the box with my name, and said the store would hold it in the back until the second one arrived. Over the next few days, I received multiple confirmations: emails from Verizon showing two watch orders, voicemail notifications telling me the watch was ready for pickup, and FedEx tracking updates confirming delivery to the store. Everything looked exactly as Justin had explained. But when I went to pick up the watch, Justin was off--and the experience went downhill fast. The salesperson who greeted me told me there was no record of any orders, no watches in the back, nothing. I showed him the Verizon emails, FedEx delivery confirmations, and even explained that I had already tried on the original watch they'd set aside. He dismissed all of it and made me feel like I was imagining the entire situation. I asked for the manager, and unfortunately things only got worse. She showed no concern that two watches--both confirmed delivered and signed for--had seemingly disappeared. She didn't apologize, didn't investigate, didn't look up the order, didn't ask questions... nothing. Her attitude was essentially: You never ordered anything and we can't help you. As someone who has been a Verizon customer since the early days--my entire family has multiple lines and devices with you--this was beyond disappointing. I would have understood if they said the watch was accidentally sold or misplaced. Mistakes happen. What's unacceptable is insisting the order never existed when I'm providing all the documentation, and showing zero interest in figuring out what happened to merchandise delivered to and signed for by a Verizon store manager. At the very least, I expected someone to care that two Apple Watches confirmed delivered to your store have vanished. Whether they were mis-scanned, sold, or stolen, this should matter to the store leadership. Instead, I was treated dismissively and left without any resolution. read more

This was the worst experience ever! Nobody was in the Verizon store when we arrived, although the doors were open. When the salesman arrived 20 minutes later, he was high as a kite! Consequently it took 3 hours to add a line to our commercial account, and buy an additional phone. We will never go back! read more

I went a couple days ago to release my phone from a family plan, I could not access the things I needed. I was given the information of what my biil would be. I also added auto pay to reduce it even further. Later, after the store was closed of course, I got a text with a higher bill. I went to the store just today to find out why I got the text. I dropped the insurance, the person I dealt with seemed poorly trained and could not answer most of my questions. But they showed me on the screen of my new bill and said I could pull it up at home. When I pulled it up it was not updated to the new bill. I called and was told it could take 24 hours which makes no sense, it didn't take 24 hours for the store employee, (who stated they could not print that screen or send a pdf). I just got a new text saying my bill would be auto payed and it was even higher than ever, over 150 dollars!! I tried to chat but that was useless. We've always been loyal customers of Verizon, ever since alltel and all we've gotten is screwed over, which is one reason I no longer wanted to be on the family plan. Oh, I got a moto phone on a promotion, I paid for it in full. But they say I still owe a balance. As soon as I can I'm switching to another provider. Verizon should be like comcast, fined and in jail. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, the ladies who I spoke to tonight were very incompetent. My husband wanted to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon and we had asked a couple questions on line details and they told him " I don't know you need to look" ... if you work somewhere where you deal with sales don't you think you should know what your selling? We had also told them a quote we got from another Verizon store, but they told us it was wrong, and that all the discounts (military and auto pay) were applied, and if we had an issue with it to call the 800 number and get "dealt with" welp, the ladies were wrong. The quote we got were correct. And this is a cooperate owned store. Horrible. No type of customer service. read more

We bought two new iphones from this store the week before Christmas. Asked the sales associate about help transferring info from old iphones since home button was broken on my current phone. She said to bring them in after Christmas and they would do it for us. We went back on Dec. 31st to have this done (we live 65 miles away in SC) and after waiting for 30 minutes for our turn, we were told they don't do that! He quickly dismissed us. We asked for our previous sales assoc. and he told us she wasn't there. We couldn't believe they treated us that way. We stopped at the other Verizon beside WalMart and they were more than happy to take care of us. We were done in 15 minutes and on our way. The store at 7805 Abercorn needs to close!! Let me begin by saying.......DO NOT GO TO THIS CORPORATE STORE!!!!! The CSR's are extremely rude and short tempered...I was there for an HOUR just to ask a question to see if they had a case for my phone. I asked a rep if I could just ask a question he said "NO...there are too many people ahead of you for me to even answer your question"! have been a regular Verizon customer since mid 2000's and I have visited this store, the one in POOLER GA and the one in RINCON, GA....those other stores are great...Its worth going out of your way to stay away from this store. I have an extensive family plan pay ALOT each month in fees etc and still get treated like crap each time I go to this store on Abercorn ST. in Savannah GA. If you go to this Verizon store, make sure you get someone whose name is not Katie. This woman was incredibly confusing and seemed like she had no idea what she was even doing. I almost walked out and went to the Verizon on Victory Dr. because I was worried she was going to screw up my account. She asked me for the number of my phone to verify the account and the I told her we were there to upgrade my husband's line and told her the number. She then went on a confusing tirade of questions about upgrading my line, which is not due for an upgrade and I had not mentioned anything about upgrading my line. She was going to transfer upgrades and charge us an extra $150.00. It took forever to try to explain this to her and I finally let my husband explain it to her because my patience was shot and I didn't know how to break it down any more simply for her. We finally got the phone but only after being heckled to purchase accessories and left with the remark, "Enjoy your new phone. Hopefully you won't drop it without a case on it." She asked us if we thought we could find a cheaper phone case than the ones they sold for 45.00 dollars or 35.00 dollars, to which my husband politely told her if we couldn't find anything cheaper, we would return, knowing full well that we can find cheaper cases through online suppliers. The service was fast but not worth the stress of improperly trained employees and the consistent badgering for over-priced accessories. read more

Where do I begin? After waiting nearly 30 minutes and being told it would be 15 the man who took my number came back, called me the wrong name, then had to ask me for my cell number again. Obviously it had been deleted off the wait list. I finally had a sales rep with me and the same door greeter came back and told the rep she had someone who needed to speak to her. Instead of having this customer wait. she left me for nearly 15 minutes to speak to him before finally coming back saying she couldn't fix his credit but she would have someone take over for her and did I want to purchase a phone today? Hello that was what I told her I was there to do today. After waiting 10 minutes and no one came to finish helping me I walked out. I'd give you ZERO stars but it's not an option. Your store has gotten progressively worse over the past year. You really need some training on customer service as you have none. I'll be purchasing my phone online. read more

We visited this store last evening and were "served" by Sydney. My husband wanted to purchase an LG flip phone and asked if he could download his contacts from the Verizon Cloud as his old flip phone was broken. She told us that flip phones cannot be backed up to the cloud and that he would need to reenter his contacts one by one. We were able to download all of the contacts from the Verizon Cloud when we got home. He asked for a phone case. She said there were no cases for this LG flip phone but she did bring out a 'pouch'. He asked if he could check his new phone in the pouch, but she told us we were not "allowed" to do that. She also told us that of the two flip phones shown, the LG would not fit in the pouch. He put the pouch up to the LG phone on exhibit and decided to take a chance. She gave us fast verbal instructions on set-up upon our request. She obviously wanted to be rid of us ASAP. We spoke to the Manager and asked for a survey which was promised. We didn't get the survey, so here are our recommendations. Corporate needs to "mystery shop" this store for Customer Service skills and technical knowledge. Calling this store will guarantee you a long hold. Stay away. read more

The employees in this store are totally inept. They give you the wrong information and later when you confront them, they get defensive and belligerent. In addition, when I got to the store, one employee was on his cellphone and two others were talking. There was another customer and I waiting for the people to finish their private conversations. I do not recommend any person to spend one penny in this store!!! read more
