The salesperson assured me that the items would be there, ready to install on the appropriate day. They were sent back because I didn't pick them up (while out of town per my previous conversation with the store). I'm not allowed to call the store, which I would have done quickly enough to have them hold the items, because they don't allow calls directly into stores. No one in customer service seemed interested in helping fix the problem that they caused. I was on the phone for over two hours with people who weren't focused on customer service at all. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Took it to 2 Apple iPhone specialist, they couldn't fix it. Took it to a couple other AT&T stores they had no idea. Artie became as intrigue as I with why the phone was doing what it was doing and he never gave up. He dove so deep into the settings he fixed the unfixable new (6 month old) iPhone 8+!! All his fellow workers agreed he is amazing and a gold star employee!! My mother (at 96-years old) had a 25+ year account with Optimum…read more IMPORTANT: "Optimum" recently changed their name to "Sudden Link." They are the same company, so all the documented experiences below are valid for both companies. I returned to St. Joseph, MO (US) on sabatical from my 27-year long, full-time professorship in Europe to care for my mother as she is now in hospice. In addressing her finances, I found that her monthly fee for wifi + TV with Optimum was $301.oo -- EVERY MONTH! . We changed to United Fiber WHERE WE HAVE IDENTICAL SERVICE (including service for a wifi-equiped smart TV) for $28.30 per month. IMPORTANT: if you cancel Optimim one day past your billing cycle they STILL charge you the full monthly billing even AFTER they shut down your service. I.e.: We now must pay $301.oo for 2 days of ghastly service; they refuse to pro-rate billings). Additionally, the woman with whom I had to speak at Optimum in order to cancel the account (which took over two hours on the phone) argued with me, claiming that our monthly bill with United Fiber was too inexpensive and couldn't possibly be correct. When I suggested that she was mistaken, she spouted, "I am NEVER wrong!" (...wrong again). She was obstinant, insulant, and combative. The "b****" word is inappropriate, but in this instance, it is painfully correct. We ARE now paying $28.32 per month with United Fiber for identical service and everyone with United Fiber has been supportive, helpful, friendly, and they have NO set-up charges to run their fiber cables directly into your home. Optimum financially gouged an elderly woman--my mother--for years. Find ANY other provider, but given the limited options in St. Joseph, Misouri, I strongly suggest United Fiber.
