The store employee told me that insured equipment is not handled by the store. I was directed to Asurion their insurance company. That company was very responsive, I had a replacement phone within 24 hours. Unfortunately the replacement phone was shipped with a SIM card which did not fit in the iPhone slot. I have now been advised to return to the AT&T store to have the incorrect SIM card replaced locally. I will attempt that tomorrow. Update, I went to the AT&T store this morning and immediately got help! I did not know that the SIM card I got was easily adaptable to the replacement iPhone I got. The employee that helped me had the new phone fully functional in less than 15 minutes! Great experience. read more

ATT STORE AT THE GALKERIA IN St Louis County. Mgr Tim and sidekick Ben messed up every single aspect of steering up a service called so I could upgrade to fiber and add Direct TV. They added an very large charged to my account after I left the store, changed the date of call without telling me, put expensive charges in the Direct TV plan. JESSE TORES the Ass. Store manager made my mom feel like complete shit. She went in to upgrade her phone and all he did was take over for a nice young man who tried to help her and tried to sell her internet. Then proceeded to make fun of her because my sister pays for internet and she have to talk to her about the internet. He said "oh so you need your daughters approval. " in a sarcastic manner. Then tried to show her a diagram to explain to her how she's stupid. Mind you my mother worked in IT for 25 years. Scheduled an appointment online, wasnt helped for 45 mins and my name was taken off the list without an employee speaking to me. Called up to the store around 10 times each time was hung up on. Was simply looking for the phone that was order that I already paid for and they proceeded to not assist me and sent me on a cycle that lead right back to them (was told by AT&T corp and UPS corp that it's the store that needs to help me. Thinking that a corporate store would be better than a franchise, I went in to make changes to a plan that we'd had for 10+ years. Big mistake. The service was quick and polite--and they even seemed knowledgeable. But when the first monthly bill came--it was $50 more per month. I called *611 to figure out why the bill was so high, and they said that AT&T didn't sell the plan as described by this store. When my old phone finally bit the dust and no longer stayed, well, on, for more than 3 minutes at a time, I knew it was time to suck it up and get a new phone. I hate getting new phones. I always feel like the sales guy is trying to finagle me into getting something more expensive and flashy than I want (or need) and then judging me because I don't want an i-phone. I don't need an i-phone, I just need something to text message on and call people. Hence why I put this off for so long. But, I knew it was time, so I drove my happy self to the AT&T store and low and behold, I met a nice guy that didn't try to sell me the most expensive phone. In fact, he said, well, this is probably all you need and after rebate you are only spending $50. Ummmm...what? You listened to me? You realize that I am a broke student that doesn't need GPS or an mp3 player on my frickin phone? THANK YOU! (His name was Ken for all those who are wondering). I have never had such a pleasant phone shopping experience in my life. I have been with, well, every cell phone network around it seems and had a phone since 1998. After ten years, I finally feel like I walked out of the store without being judged for my "cheap" phone choice and I actually got a phone that works that I didn't hate and regret buying 3 days later. I wish I could give zero stars. We recently switched to AT&T. When we added a line, we unfortunately went to this location to do so. We were hounded for almost an hour by the assistant manager Mike Wonn and two other employees, Drace and Jesse. The trio tried to convince us to buy fiber internet service after we told them "no" countless times. We left the store exhausted. 2 weeks later, the equipment for AT&T fiber internet was delivered to our house. These desperate salesman signed us up for the fiber service anyway without our consent, adding almost $80 to our bill. I was absolutely dumbfounded. We will never go back to this store, and they made sure we will never use AT&T internet services. Unbelievably horrible experience and massive waste of our time. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! Unless you want to have a rep that has no clue what he is doing. We had a gentleman named "Mo" who was more interested in making commission than customer satisfaction. I came in the store with my dad to get the phone unlocked. My dad was going out of the country so he wanted to be able use his phone. By law if I'm correct when the phone is yours and not under contract or payment plan the customer is allowed to have the phone unlocked. We explained that we needed the phone unlocked to Mo and right away he said that there is no way of doing that and we needed to have an international plan. We asked him are you sure and he said there is no such way of unlocking it. Oddly enough we went to another store earlier that day and they said they can't do it in store but they said we needed to call or go to a certain website. Mo said that the other store was lying and they were not properly trained. I'm like wow you are throwing your own people that work for the same company under the bus? Real professional. He still kept trying to sell us an international plan but we ended up walking out. But here is the bright side of the story. I called 611 and they told me how to unlock the phone. All you need to do is go to att.com/deviceunlock and just follow the steps and you are done. It's that easy. So there you go Mo I just did your job for you. By the way I just recommend if anyone has a problem just call 611 they are very helpful. They care more about customer satisfaction instead of worrying about how they can con the next person. read more
